I completed an 11-day internship with Difference Digital under Brand Lead Mohit More and the co-founder, and my experience was entirely exploitative.I was explicitly hired as a design intern because their only designer, Ekta, was on leave. I explicitly told them beforehand that I was a beginner starting out and needed a senior designer to learn from. Instead, there was no senior to teach me, and I faced a completely toxic work environment.My coordinator was incredibly rude, routinely using a foul, aggressive tone. She expected a starting intern to finish a week’s worth of work in a single day, claiming I would 'never make it big' if I didn't comply. She pressured me so heavily that I was forced to skip my online college classes, pushing my working hours to 12+ hours a day.During these 11 days, they had me complete a massive amount of output, including preparing an entire month’s worth of social media posts for a client brand. The moment I completed and handed over all the raw project files, they terminated my internship.They explicitly promised me payment for my days of work. However, once they had my files, they completely ghosted me. I spent 4 months constantly chasing Mohit and the co-founder via phone calls and messages to get my due payout, but they completely ignored my communication and never paid me a single rupee.This agency is actively exploiting young professionals, stealing their labor, and ruining their education. Avoid them at all costs.
