Over-promise, under deliver.
Over-priced in comparison to other custom-made shoes.
Took much more than 10 days to arrive. Ordered on Black Friday and received in February the following year.

I followed the measuring guidelines, and tried the shoes they sent for size, but still ended up with the wrong size, and no return policy. I tried to explain to customer service that the thickness of the sole plays a role in the fitting, but the words fell on deaf ears. No return policy.

Regarding colors, I picked the colors based on the screen and ended up with shoes very different in color from what I ordered. The explanation, colors, can not be guaranteed.

As friendly and professional as the staff have been, the policies are rigid, and the processes need to be reviewed based on customer experience, but that is not the case.

I spent more than 500 euros on shoes that neither I nor anyone else will wear. Total waste of money and time and effort.

I would certainly not recommend them until they update their return policy, update their measuring guidelines and process, and put the customer experience up front.

They may not make money, or even lose money on the first pair of shoes, but they will for sure do on the next ten pairs.

But it seems management does not have the interest of repeat or satisfied customers.

My second purchase, Excellent craftsmanship. This time the delivery took a little longer but it's ok

I am giving 5 star rating for the quality of the leather, craftsmanship, the delivery ( received in 10 days) and the customer service. In terms of the price, in my opinion it's reasonable.

Brilliant service throughout the COVID-19 crisis. Ordered on the 1st March and received on 24th, that was during the height of Italy's problems. Excellent communication. The quality of the shoes is exceptional and I am very pleased with them. The website forecast I'd need a size 7 (UK) but as my feet are broad I elected for 7.5. The shoes were tight at first as most new shoes are but gave after a very short while and are now very comfortable. There are not the cheapest but the quality justifies the price. Will definitely use again.

Service was excellent, with delivery much earlier than originally anticipated. Quality of product is incredible, and worth the money. Would highly recommend.

When I designed the show, I wanted the lug sole. I also thought the leather would be heavier. Neither of these are true. I don’t think the shoe will hold up to heavy use and harsh temperatures. Not worth the price.

The materials of the shoe look and feel cheap. Craftsmanship looked poor as well. The delivery took 6 weeks not 4 weeks. The only positives were the return policy and speed of refund.

Great boots - and quick delivery

My shoes from DIS are by far the best shoes I've ever own! The quality is superior to my other shoes that I have bought from Nordstrom, and cheaper! To be able to get a pair of high quality, custom made Italian shoes for CHEAPER then anything Nordstrom had is mind boggling. I highly recommend DIS. Every day I wear my monk straps I get compliments.
