Good experience, no issues

I ordered 2 towel hangers for a Burford bathroom radiator. They were delivered promptly with no issues. I’d use them again.

Excellent quality and service

The rads I ordered were picked and sent on time. There was adifficulty with the couriers but Craig at designer rads sorted it out for me. All in all excellent service

Wrong items received

I placed an order for a bath filler and basin mixer tap without issue, but after enquiring the items whereabouts, I was told that they were out of stock with the manufacturer (I checked this with the manufacturer and found it to be a lie). I then received a delivery 11 days later containing the wrong items.

I contacted the company and was told they would investigate the issue with the misinformation and incorrect items, but I have not heard back from them.

I now have a very angry customer waiting for taps with no idea of delivery timescales.

On 1st January 2023 you emailed us with a query regarding shipping costs on our website. Despite being closed for Christmas we responded within the hour and you subsequently placed your order, which was acknowledged immediately.

On 3rd January we ordered your products with the supplier, Kartell.

On 6th January we emailed you to advise that Kartell had informed us the products were out of stock but they were due a shipment on Monday 9th.

On 11th January we contacted Kartell to follow up the items as we had not received them as we were expecting. We were then informed that the delivery had been delayed and that actually the items had been discontinued and they were not expecting to receive any further shipments. We are in receipt of an email from Kartell advising of this information.

Kartell sent two products that they recommended as like-for-like and these were shipped to you. On Friday 13th January you rang our office and requested that we look into the incorrect items. We confirmed that we would go back to Kartell to query this once more and we would come back to you.

Quite simply, you have not heard back from us yet because between Friday and Monday it is the weekend and both our office and the suppliers are closed.

We can assure you that we are a reputable family business and we take significant pride in what we do. We are open and honest in everything that we do and we do not lie to our customers. Under the circumstances and as it is apparent that you do not believe we have acted honestly, we are more than happy to issue you with a pre-paid returns label for you to return the two items for a full refund.

A very positive experience!

The website was easy to use and informative and my designer heated towel rail was delivered very promptly! It’s not installed yet, so I am can’t comment on the product itself, but my experience of the company was very positive!

Don't expect prompt customer service

Mistakingly order the wrong thermostatic valves with our 14 vertical designer radiators. Asked for a replacement was told most efficient way was is to reorder correct ones and company offered to collect the others. So i did so. I can not believe after chasing several times i am still waiting for them to be collected and my approx £450 is still tied up which i really need right to finish othe works. Really regretting ordering with this company which i expected much better customer service after spending over £4k on just radiators. Still waiting 3 weeks later. Imagine if i bought just one and had an issue!!!

We are sorry you felt the need to leave a 2 star review and were disappointed with your comments as we feel this is unfair based on the customer service we have provided you with.

We received your order on 6th November for just short of £5,000. We made contact with you within 24 hours to arrange a delivery date and you asked us to hold the order back for one week. Despite having very limited storage space (to keep prices down for our customers), we agreed to hold the order to assist you. We planned the delivery around a day and time to suit you, and we personally delivered the items to you with our driver unloading all of the items and carrying them into the property for you, which is something we do not usually offer.

Despite the excellent customer service and prompt and helpful delivery service that we offered, we did not receive a review from you.

On 22nd November, you emailed to advise us that you had ordered the wrong valves. We responded within 30 minutes to advise that if you were to order the correct valves that same day, we would process the new order as quickly as possible. Your new order was received and processed immediately, with delivery to yourself taking place on 25th November.

Although it is the buyers responsibility to return any unwanted or incorrectly ordered products (at their own cost), we agreed that we would assist you further by arranging a collection of the valves completely free of charge.

You emailed us at 7pm, 5 working days later to request an update. We responded within 20minutes (after hours) to request that you bear with us a little longer as we need to align the collection with a delivery that is local to your area. You responded on 30th November advising "I understand what your trying to do. I will leave it a couple of weeks hopefully in that time you may get something nearby. I will remind you again in a couple of weeks if I don’t hear anything by then."

On 15th December at 18:36 we received an email from you to follow up the collection, and you subsequently left a 2 star review without providing us with time to respond to your follow up.

We are a fair and helpful family business and customer service is very important to us. We feel that we went above and beyond to assist you, throughout your first, and subsequent order. We are more than happy to refund the total cost of the original incorrectly ordered valves, once we are in receipt of them (which you are now going to return in the New Year, rather than a collection).

Great Customer Service!

I had an urgent need for a radiator (plumber availability was limited) and so called the shop on a Wednesday to see if it was possible to get it for Saturday. Craig who took my call said that he would do everything he could (but couldn't promise) for a weekend delivery. It turned up Friday evening - really great customer service! (missing from most aspects of life these days). Thank you Designer Rads (and Craig) :)

So upset

We're sorry you felt the need to leave a 1 star review and that you believe the incorrect sized brackets were shipped with the radiator.

Your order was placed on 17th November and you received delivery of the items on 23rd November. On 2nd December, we received an email from you advising us that you believed the wrong brackets had been delivered.

We emailed you back just 10 minutes later to advise that you were welcome to return the entire package and we'd be happy to send a replacement, or alternatively a refund if you'd prefer. However, you informed us that you'd had the radiator fitted so neither option would be suitable.

As a reputable, small family business, we were really disappointed to receive your review and we feel it is unfair considering the following points:
1. The item was delivered to you promptly within just 4 working days;
2. We were not notified of the alleged error until 9 days after delivery;
3. Upon notification, we responded within 10 minutes and offered to issue a replacement, or provide a full refund; and
4. We were not provided the opportunity to rectify the issue for you.

We trust that you are satisfied with the radiator itself and thank you for purchasing from us.

Flushed with success.

Having spent endless hours researching on line for a toilet seat. I chose Designer Rads. They fitted the bill exactly. I was not disappointed. Great product, excellent service, looks great and easy to fix. Well done.

Damage Radiator

Damage Radiator, order arrival separately after stated I would wait for the complete order.

We acknowledge that there were two parts to your order and we did ship these separately in error, although this was at no additional cost to yourself.

On the day you attempted to contact us, our office was closed for training. However, we did email and return your call the same day.

You received the radiator on 28th September. We were not informed of the damage until 6th October. You confirmed that the packaging was intact, un-damaged and that the radiator had been moved since the point of acceptance.

Despite the damage being reported outside of the time-frame listed within our terms and conditions, we agreed to collect the radiator at a cost to ourselves and provide a full refund.

We were pleased that we were able to resolve the issue for you, and that you were happy to purchase a new radiator, which was delivered un-damaged recently.

Very good price and pretty quick delivery. Unfortunately the valve that was ordered did not arrive. However, customer services were very responsive and refund was prompt. Recommend

Designer Rads were excellent

Designer Rads were excellent - shame the same can't be said for the quality of the Eastbrook Chrome Radiator/towel rail!!
The original had a manufacturing fault in the Chrome finish that was unacceptable. Eastbrook agreed to replace it and we received it today. The quality of the chrome finish is not brilliant by any means but the worst is on the backside so we have accepted it!!
Designer Rads were brilliant throughout and kept us informed and the delivery driver did the same.
