5*! Nicky is the best, let’s start there! Very friendly, straightforward service! I’m coming back to order more pairs for sure. The dispatch time (in comparison to other companies) was superbly quick! I thought it’ll take longer due to the complexity of my lenses, I’ve just tried them on and I’m thrilled! Update : Rayban Prescription Sunglasses
I would like to write an updated review on my previous review dated 09/09/2024.
I was a little exhausted after my first encounter with the designer glasses customer service team. Then along came Nicky. Not long after trying to explain my issues with a different employee with no success I received a person call from a lady named Nicky. She had taken a look into my complaint regarding my prescription. Rayban sunglasses having no branding and stated that there was room for improvement in the eay the issue eas addressed originally and for this she would order me some Raybans with the branding showing on the lenses (for prescription lenses there is not branding unless you pay extra. I was unaware of this)
Nicky sorted my issues quickly and with a lovely manner. Thank goodness for customer service people like Nicky. Thank you so much.

Thrilled
I have to give them a 5* rating. After weeks of emailing and calling them, when I finally got through and spoke to the wonderful Nicky I was able to purchase a replacement pair of sunnies that I was desperate to have but couldn’t find anywhere else!! Nicky was absolutely AWESOME and I had them the next day. I cannot fault their service. Thank you, thank you, thank you and I will definitely be buying from them again!!

Radio silence for two full weeks
I don't understand the good ratings about "good communication".
1st week:
Got a confirmation on the 16th of May. Told me the frames were in fact with "a supplier" and would only be dispatched in "5-7 business days".
Waited 7 business days before I asked about the delivery time.
2nd week:
I've emailed them 3 times since and left a voice message on their 800 hotline.
Of course the hotline is always busy. And no one responds to emails.
I ordered an optical frame without lens to replace my current ones to be handled by a trusted optician. It's not a fashion accessory and I informed them I needed them by early June which is tomorrow. Unfortunately it's the weekend so there's nothing I could do.
It's completely unacceptable and I don't even know how to realistically cancel the order (AND to pay £10 for the privilege according to the T&C) because I can't reach them by email or by phone.
Not sure if this is normal with other online retailers? I'd like to order elsewhere instead of waiting indefinitely at this point, but I don't even know if I could get a refund because no one has responded to me.
I've learned the lesson and will stick to styles only available in brick and mortar shops from now on.
PS. My main issue wasn't the delay. All I asked for was a shipping estimate after the promised 5-7 business days lapsed so I could decide whether to wait or pay for a refund. The total lack of communication has been truly frustrating.
UPDATE:
I managed to contact them eventually and Nicky arranged for a full refund upon request.
And I want to add Nicky tried her best to help but there were logistics issues outside of her control.

Ordered my 2 pairs of glasses on the 05/05/2024. On the 7th i had a second email saying my order will be 5-10 days. Since then nothing, no more comms
I have been charged but still no glasses. I have emailed and left message for call back but no one returning my call or replying to emails. Poor experience
Not recommend and i am stuck with no goods received and payment has been taken. Finally got a call back and have cancelled the order . Thanks

Great value and communication
I found a specific pair of sunglasses that I wanted to purchase. Some websites I came across were charging a lot for them, others dubiously low prices. I came across designergalsses.co.uk who offered a fair price and I decided to buy from them. There was a slightly delay sourcing the glasses (they were not in stock and had to be ordered from their supplier) but I was kept up-to-date on the order progress and tracking via email. The glasses arrived in perfect condition and exactly as expected around 7-10 days after ordering, which was fine by me. Thanks very much and I'll certainly use your site again.
