Unresolved Obligation After Two Years of Direct Work
I worked directly with Dr. Samir Master, the owner and principal of Dermatology Arts, for over two years on a series of professional design and site-based projects that he personally initiated. While this work was not clinical in nature, it was extensive and based on clear verbal and written agreements.
Throughout our collaboration, Dr. Master presented himself as someone who valued honesty, trust, and professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t align with those values. After delivering all agreed-upon work, a substantial unpaid balance remained. Dr. Master acknowledged the amount and even asked how to send payment. Then—silence. No further replies. No payment.
Despite multiple documented follow-ups over several months—including texts, calls, and certified letters—I received no response
I take no pleasure in writing this. I share it because others—especially independent contractors, vendors, and consultants—deserve to know how this business is led. Leadership isn’t just about public-facing values; it’s about how obligations are handled behind the scenes.
