Bought a van for £9,000.

Drove it home and woke up the next morning to oil leaking all over my drive.

The van was only driven from the dealership to my home.

Paid for an independent inspection through ClickMechanic.

The van scored 33/100 and was classed as not roadworthy.

Several major issues!

Water pump leaking - engine will seize and stop working any day when it fails.

I contacted the dealer straight away and requested a refund under my 30-day right to reject.

No refund was offered.

Instead, they wanted me to return the van around 60 miles away for inspection.

I refused to hand over both the van and my money at the same time.

I offered for the van to be inspected at my address instead.

That was refused too.

I have now started a Section 75 claim through my credit card company, as part of the payment was made by credit card.

I’m sure they will reply to this review with another generic ChatGPT-generated response saying they tried to help or inspect the van.

Instead of reading their reply, check the inspection report.

Their response does not change the fact the van was independently inspected and classed as not roadworthy.

I will also be claiming back inspection fees and other reasonable costs.

If you buy a van from here, put a minimum £100 deposit down on a credit card.

You are protected for the full amount up to £30,000 if anything goes wrong in the first 6 months.

Be careful - good reviews do not always mean a good company.

I purchased a Combi Van from Van2Van and it was very clean condition like new even though it was over 3 years old. Drives superb. A few niggly bits interior and Daryl the owner sorted it out. They are located quite secluded but their Vans are very clean and they know what buyers want at a fair price too.
I am happy with my Van from Van2Van.

Came out to buy a flatbed last week.
Service was good on site from start to finish, had a few minor issues which Wayne took care of within 2 days.
They bent over backwards to help us and keep our business running over that weekend to the extent of loaning us a van until ours came back.
I’d recommend this company purely on the fact they did go the extra mile where others probably wouldn’t.
Also we took out the extra warranty for two years which was exceptionally priced.
Thank you again lads was a pleasure doing business with you.
