Dear: Mia Cooper
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience caused you distress, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify certain points while fully respecting your feelings.
From the moment our patients arrive, our standard procedure is to welcome them and request their passport solely to confirm and register their medical file, as required by regulations. In your case, due to a temporary technical issue outside of our control, there was an unexpected delay. Wanting to minimize your waiting time, we arranged for you to visit our other branch, which is located approximately five minutes away on foot. We regret if this situation caused you any inconvenience or discomfort.
Regarding our clinic structure, Dent Treat is a licensed and officially registered medical brand recognized by the Turkish Ministry of Health. We operate within private clinics in Bağcılar, with Dent Treat serving as the dedicated international patient department. All related documentation is available upon request for full transparency.
Concerning the aesthetic process, our protocol is to prepare the teeth first, take impressions, and send them to the dental laboratory. Patients are then invited for fittings and trials. No final approval is given, and no permanent work is completed, without the patient’s full consent. The final tooth color is always selected by the patient based on their preference. We are truly sorry if you felt this process was rushed or not clearly communicated at the time.
You were only paid 450 pounds more than the agreed amount because of additional procedures that were done for you and that you needed, such as gum reduction for the upper and lower jaws + making two root canals + a night guard. We are sorry if this has disappointed you, but we always tell patients that such things can happen after the patient arrives, undergoes an X-ray and physical examination, and we explain everything to them, leaving them completely free to accept or refuse. Without any pressure, because these additions are considered cosmetic, such as gum trimming and other things in order to preserve the crowns (nighttime protection). But of course, Two root canals were required to ensure the patient experienced no pain or sensitivity after the teeth were shaved and the crowns were placed. We apologize if these points were not clear to you.
With respect to aftercare, we take this matter very seriously and are currently reviewing the details internally to better understand what may have gone wrong. Patient follow-up is an essential part of our care, and we regret if this did not meet your expectations.
Regarding the pain, the medical consultant will contact you as soon as possible, and we will get in touch again for further evaluation. We would have greatly appreciated it if you had been informed of your concerns from the beginning so that we could have taken immediate action, which is your right.
Your feedback has been shared with our management team, as it helps us improve both our communication and patient experience. We would sincerely welcome the chance to speak with you directly, address your concerns, and offer any appropriate support moving forward.
Kind regards,
Dent Treat Management Team
