clinic prioritized business interests over patient care
TL;DR: I did not receive adequate informed consent. I should have been told that waiting for a specialist was perfectly safe, that the diagnosis was uncertain, that my pain would definitely worsen with incorrect or incomplete treatment, and that any post-op complications would need to be managed on my own until the office reopened.
I cannot recommend this clinic. I arrived as a new patient late on a Friday with severe pain and paid over $600 for CT imaging that did not identify the problem tooth. Despite the lack of a clear diagnosis, the dentists proceeded with a root canal based on a guess.
It was performed on the wrong tooth.
My pain worsened within hours, and with the office closed for the weekend, I had no access to follow‑up care and was charged $1,500+ (after insurance) for procedures that did not address the actual issue.
An endodontist later treated the correct tooth. The diagnosis was clear, the procedure was significantly more comfortable, and the cost was about one‑third lower.
The clinic has not issued a refund. Reports have been filed with the BBB and the Washington State Dental Quality Assurance Commission.
