Everything about the experience was beyond expectations and great. From the accommodations to the actual procedure. The procedure was was less painful then I expected. It wasn't invasive and everyone at the clinic was a great help and did great. They listened to my opinion and did things the best way possible. The doctor helped me pick the most natural and desirable hairline and everything is beyond what I expected. I'm very happy and grateful I picked Heva. I prayed for this experience to be 1000x greater then I expected and it granted. God bless you guys and thank you for everything!!!!!!🙂

What made my experience great was the comfort Heva Clinic give once you arrive. Transportation is provided once you arrive at the airport and the hotel was already ready scheduled for me to check in. The Heva Clinic team are very responsive and helpful especially Oliver, if it wasn’t for Oliver specifically, my experience wouldn’t have been as great, he was on top of everything and treated me so great and made me feel so welcomed. They are a on schedule team, so you would not go wrong with choosing Heva Clinic if you want to have a great hair transplant experience.

I found Heva online after researching experts who could do a female no shave (implantation area). My consultant was Mary. I paid $100 deposit via paypal and $2700 for DHI with select FUE. My area of concern was the crown and surrounding thinning. The donor areas are performed with the same process no matter the implantation style. PRP was to be included into the price. I traveled to SAW airport from Tirana, Albania. The airport transfer was confusing and frustrating, My sim card stopped working and had no way of contacting anyone. Eventually I found the 12 column pillar the 3E transportation company used to flag down my driver and get me to the hotel. The hotel was farter away than expected. Oliver met me at the hotel and took me to one of three locations for blood draw and consultation. Dr. Seda explained the procedure plan to Oliver and he translated it into English. Transfers between clinic and hotel were arranged for me. The next morning we were transported to hospital for the procedure. I was told the procedure would have two teams one for the FUE along the edges and DHI for the rest. This did not occur. I knew the procedure was going to take the full day. The team operating did not speak English. The team was super responsive and patient to my needs. They played music and the sound of their discussions had a calming effect. I cannot confirm the PRP was performed as no communication of what was happening at the different stages was happening. The anesthesia was difficult and some areas were not anesthetized as much as others so I indicated I was in pain and they applied more anesthesia to the area. They gave me water, a bathroom break and some minutes to calm down my nerves. I didn't know exactly what had been done but was glad to see the end. I was transported back to the hotel and prepared my bed with pads for expected bleeding overnight. I woke with no blood at all, no swelling, and no pain. After a day of rest, the following day was to be the head wash. I was transported to the main Heva office and was sprayed with a foam wash, let it sit for 30 to 45 min then it was washed off. Mary explained the product package and how and when to use them all. Overall, I had a great experience, while there are several communication opportunities for improving for future guests. Heva is a small team that is growing in business and size. The Heva crew was extremely friendly, cheerful, uplifting, and exciting to be around. They took such good care of me and it made okay for me to be doing this solo as they made the experience personalized which made the whole disconformable parts totally worth it! I highly recommend HEVA hair clinic for your transplant needs!

I flew all the way from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to do hair transplant for my head at Heva Clinic in Istanbul and I say no regret. Their staff is very professional and made me feel very comfortable the whole time. Hotel is amazing and the surgery went smooth and recovery time no too long. Now, after five months, my new hair did start to grow well. I am so happy with my experience at Heva Clinic and I go recommend them to anyone afro men with similar hair to mine.

I would firstly like to say this is an honest review and it's very important that I make one as I wouldn't want anyone to experience some of the things that I did.

Firstly, the communication between myself and Hannah for the few weeks leading up to my surgery date was positive, however, at the point of my arrival it started to go downhill. Points to add: I choose this clinic as they had experience with Black patients. I also was a solo traveller from the UK.

When I arrived in Istanbul minutes to 6am, I was left waiting outside the airport for almost 30mins without the designated person who went awol from the meeting point. The clinic was notified of my early arrival weeks before and had enough time to prepare to ensure someone was present to greet me. There were a lot of dodgy characters around, thankfully the airport security guard assisted me and allowed me stand beside him inside in the warmth. I was told that I would be provided with a room so that I could have some sleep for a few hours before my procedure started (which I was only informed of when I arrived, my discussions with Hannah was that my surgery date would be the following day giving me a few hours to rest). Upon reflection, I was happy it was done this way so this isn't a criticism. When I arrived at the clinic, no one was around - the security guard spoke no English and therefore couldn't assist me. The team started to arrive from 07:30am and set up the clinic. I slept on the reception couch as I was so exhausted!

Let's talk about the overall procedure. I just want to say thank you to Elif, although there was a clear language barrier you made me feel welcomed and comfortable, always checking in to ensure I was okay. It's a shame your colleague didn't have your gentle approach. There were a number of people coming in and out of the surgery room, loitering and having casual discussions as if it was a social gathering. I understand smoking is allowed in Istanbul but it was disturbing and unhygienic for "professionals" to have smoking breaks especially during a live procedure where my skin was exposed. The patient care was poor, despite me making a complaint to the doctor I was ignored. The staff definitely need more training. Also to add, some members of staff were making passing comments and mockeries which made me feel extremely uncomfortable.

After the procedure:
I was shocked that my hair wasn't washed as that was part of my package. I was told that my scalp wasn't ready (bearing in mind I saw a number of patients get there head washed). I also queried about my PRP as I was rushed out of the patient room towards the end and couldn't recollect getting these injections done.

I also didn't appreciate being asked to write a review mentioning certain professionals (you know who you are). Although it was lovely to meet you at the end, that added little benefit and wasn't a reflection of my overall experience.

To add some positives, the chosen hotel was amazing, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I felt safe and comfortable. Also, the transport was fairly organised.

I am very happy I decided on Heva Clinic for my hair transplant.

It was obvious that they had a lot of experience, so I just trusted the process and was comfortable throughout the whole procedure. The time actually felt like it past by very quick thanks to the great doctor and technicians. The only pain I felt was when they started the anesthesia, but even that was not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

I am very grateful to everyone on the whole team who were very friendly and accommodating. Language was never an issue as there was always somebody I could ask if I had any questions. I also have to thank my coordinator Oliver who made sure I was comfortable throughout my whole stay.

So far on day 8 post-op it’s looking good and the recovery process has been great. I really haven’t felt any pain, burning or itching on my head.
Now I’m just hoping my actual results will be as great as everything else has been this far.

Almost perfect. They know what they are doing for Afro textural hair.
They give you what they promise and if possible more.
They tell you the truth about your donor area and what can be done, but if they discover that they can do more they will do that. The doctor was really very considerate and explained all scenarios. So did all the people involved .No non-intended costs.
I would recommend them for now, but will come back and post about the results in 6 months.
Sofar very satisfied.

After years of research and much hesitation on my part, I finally booked my hair transplant appointment with Heva Clinic and I am so glad that I did. Arthur was a great contact person who with Katie, warmly welcomed me to the clinic late at night because of a late flight. All arrangements were taken care of & handled most efficiently. My experience with Heva Clinic was great! I was a little nervous at first cause I didn’t know what I was walking into, you hear about the horror stories that happen to some people and you just hope that doesn’t happen to you.

I can say that my nerves were relaxed as soon as I met Mary and walked into the office, everyone was there to greet me and make me feel at ease. They let me pick how I wanted my hairline to be which was great cause I wanted something that looked very natural for me personally. I was also the only patient they were working on that day which made me feel even better cause they could take their time on my head.

The process was about 9 hours, but it didn’t seem that long to be honest. It was pretty painless, the most uncomfortable part is receiving the anesthesia in the scalp…it was a little rough, but once it was over I was completely fine.

Mary is amazing! I can’t say it enough, my sister came on the trip with me for support and to just visit Turkey but she came in a day late unfortunately due to flight issues. Mary helped me setup a taxi for her and she waited the whole time with me until she found the taxi driver, my sister and I were VERY appreciative of that cause my sister was having a rough time.

The one very small critique I have is the communication with certain things were off and I’m big on communication. When I arrived at the hotel I was confused cause it wasn’t the hotel I was told and when I went inside the hotel I was dropped off at the front desk guy was just as confused as I was, but we figured everything out and I was at the right location. If plans change I think it would be best to let the patient know as soon as possible so we can be aware.

Overall everything was great! If you are looking to get a hair transplant especially with Afro hair I would definitely recommend Heva Clinic. Very professional and you won’t regret your decision.

After researching hair transplant in the US, Mexico and turkey, I decided to go to Heva Clinic, because Arthur was patience and knowledgeable about the what I was looking for, I have Afro textured hair so, not every clinic are experienced in that type of hair. When I arrived in Istanbul they made sure I was taking care of, the team was amazing from day 1 until I returned to the back home.now am waiting for results.

My initial attraction to Heva Clinic was seeing the before and after results from past clients. As one with Afro/Caribbean hair, I was very concerned with finding the right clinic. When I found Heva and began consulting with them, I looked nowhere else. It has just been a couple of weeks since my hair transplant and I, as well as everyone else, am impressed with the results and progress thus far.

I recently visited Heva Clinic to undergo a procedure and received an excellent service from start to finish.

I was referred by a friend who visited the clinic in January 2022 to undergo a hair transplant. This was also a procedure I was interested in. I was contacted by the a consultant named Arthur who was very pleasant to deal with, has a very calm demeanour and answered all of my questions promptly with no fuss.

Following a brief discussion with Arthur to discuss what I was interested in he requested some photographs of my hair to understand the extent of my hair loss and he got back to me later the same day with a quote. The quote is thorough and includes information relating to the procedure, number of grafts required (subject to change pending face to face examination of your hair), recovery information and details of the hotel you will be staying in.

Arthur maintained clear communication throughout and would advise when my taxi was collecting me to bring me from the airport to the hotel, from the hotel to the clinic and back again to the hotel.

The team at the clinic were friendly and professional. I was looked after by Marwa who was a fantastic help and she aided with translation from Turkish to English.

The procedure was as described - took roughly 6-8hrs with a lunch break in-between. I am happy with the outcome and look forward to sporting my new hairline!
