Thank you so much for putting this book together. It's really helpful and accessible advice. It doesn't matter where you're at with your art career, there is something in there for everyone. Even if it's to reinforce what might seem obvious. Sometimes being caught up in your own head you become oblivious to such things!

The delivery was faster than expected, so no troubles there. I just started reading your top tips to navigate the art world and must confirm that it is fun to read as well as usefull info. It's now time to implement those ideas in my workflow and get out there.

Excellent business advice for artists who are starting out in business.
If you have aspirations to be a professional artist, you need to have a 'business head' on you, and this is where most fail. This book will help to fill those gaps in your knowledge and achieve your dreams.

Nick and Benjamin’s book Navigating the art world is a fantastic collection of solid advice from art professionals for emerging artists.
Some of the information I already knew, however to collate all the best bits of information in one pocket size book is a great asset to have in any studio. I really recommend it to anybody launching their career as a visual artist.

I really love Navigating The Art World, it's full of knowledge and insights for early artists who don't know how the industry works and how to promote themselves effectively.
Thank you for putting this gem into the world, well worth a read and I can't wait to get started.

Incredibly helpful, engaging book with a lot of professional information packed in for emerging artists. A really helpful little book. Navigating the art world from remote west Scotland is tricky at the best of times and this guide really helped consolidate my ideas and plans. It's well written and laid out and I dip in and out of it constantly. Thank you to Nick and Benjamin for taking the time to put it together.

I am a career graphic designer who has designed a lot of books. The first thing that struck me about the guide is how simply designed and readable it is. Well done.
By career graphic designer I mean that I am now launching into the fine art world in my 60s, an endeavor that presents its own set of challenges.

I found this little volume to be extremely well written, answering many questions that I had not even thought of. It is refreshingly transparent about the particular form of insanity that is the contemporary “art world” with all of politics, insider advantages, and arrogance. It is also eminently practical.

One area of discussion that I missed was the question of digitally produced art. It still seems to suffer from some of the “that-can’t-be-art” prejudices that took photography almost a century to overcome. Since the space I work in is photo/digital in origin, some discussion of those issues would have been helpful but understandably perhaps just outside the scope of the book.

Nicely done and I wish Benjamin and Nick all success in their own ambitious venture.

I follow Delphian Gallery on IG, so when I saw this book, I thought "if anyone knows about this subject, they do!" My instinct was right. It's a great little book full of useful information for emerging artists who are often left to navigate the art world with no experience whatsoever. At times I find myself nodding along, reassured that I've been doing many things right; other times I'm introduced to a fresh way of thinking and doing. I keep one by my bedside table. I recommend you do, too.
