Worst customer services I've ever…
Worst customer services I've ever encountered. Local places menu is showing optional items as mandatory and they're all at extra expense so you're forced to have items with an order that you don't want. This doesn't happen on any other food ordering site. I emailed customer services who sent back a generic thanks for your feedback response. It wasn't feedback, it's an issue that needs resolving. Then someone else emailed asking for screenshot, sent then. Then SOMEONE ELSE responded saying sorry you recieved the wrong item. WHAT??? Then another person emailed saying to contact the restaurant, I did, they said Deliveroo have the control. Then yet another person responded saying sorry the items you want aren't available. What is wrong with these poeple? I'm convinced they have 4 year olds replying, although, I'm sure a 4 year old would do better
Rider behaviour
I was walking out from a side road about to cross when a Deliveroo rider cycling quite fast on the pavement rode straight into me! He hit my arm & leg with impact. I later discovered a black stain on my jumper which after 2 washes is still there. I logged a complaint with their complaints system, Resolver, which appears to have no one monitoring it. The response was:

This doesn’t offer any form of compensation for my now ruined jumper and bruised hand or any way for this to be dealt with efficiently. Riders should not be cycling on the pavement ever.
I stupidly decided to use Deliveroo…
I stupidly decided to use Deliveroo again after blatant staff fraud which was not addressed. I then received another order where there was clear theft by eiher Deliveroo or one of their vendors. Again, this was not addressed or acknowleged. I never leave reviews but this was just shocking. I would just advise to stay away.
Deliver are using illegal immigrants
Deliver are using illegal immigrants. They do not understand or speak English and do not deliver to your door, sometimes steal the food. I once asked for passport details from a delivery guy as he was shockingly illiterate. He ran away! Deiveroo has the audacity to charge the amount they do. I will be pursuing this with the required authorities.

If you provide a service, then provide it. Don’t make people pay for a quality that should be part of the business model. Charging people £2.50 just to receive the service promised is digusting. This is a multi million pound company and instead of being excellent, they’re figuring out new ways to **** their customers. Awful, awful, awful company. Think about your choices and who you’re giving your money to.
2 HOUR WAIT AND COLD
my order was £63 it said an hour deliver but it came after 2 hours and was cold!!!! We was also on our way out so we didnt have time to eat! Deliveroo only offered £13 compensation not good enough

Received a completely wrong order. Nothing was correct. Contacted order help and although a refund was offered, they did not offer to organise my actual order to be sent. Total shambles.

Ordered £18 worth of food, paid extra for quick delivery and extra because apparently 3.2 miles is a long way away. They sent it on a bicycle that took over half an hour to arrive, food was stone cold. They offered £7 refund and no more. Absolute joke of a company. Account deleted, will never use them again.
Never buy gift cards
I was gifted an gift card, tried to use it but it does not work.
Spent hours trying to get diveroo to correct it, but, nothing has happened. I see this as fraud.. took money and not allowing gift vouchers to be used.

Honestly the worst customer service I have ever seen. Calling it customer service is a merit that it shouldn’t have! There’s no service to it. They just send through automated crap and refuse compensation when the food you receive is not edible.

Refunds are not given. We spent £45 & were only offered £7.50 compensation in deliveroo credit. Terrible customer service.

Classic stealing scheme, deny refunds for incorrect orders and do not tolerate complaints over orders.

They deny refunds when items are not…
They deny refunds when items are not received and when items are damaged. Even when you send evidence in they ignore it and make you pay for their mistakes and mistakes made by restaurants who take liberties with portions and quality. Mouldy goods from groceries and sending scraps from restaurants at the end of the day with no regard to food safety or allergens. They don’t even give reasons for refusing refunds, they just like taking money and giving the worst service imaginable. Violating consumer rights and legal obligations as a business dealing with food. They also have riders that try to invite themselves in your house and ask if your alone, others that work under other peoples names - and they do nothing about it.
I won’t spend another penny with them ever again and I advise anyone to spend with anyone but them.
Shocking service
Shocking service, paid priority for delivery, the rider picked up my order and proceeded in the opposite direction of my address and clearly deliver other orders for 20mins and then turned back, 50min wait, food cold. I called him out on it and flat out asked him was he delivery other orders before mine and he sniggered and said yes before walking away. The live chat service was useless, part refunded for cold food (c. 20% back) but refused to refund me for the priority fee. Spoke with three different live chat managers, all useless. Save you money folks, just buy local, way better for our communities and piece of mind.

appalling. I am a long standing customer, with an average of 20 bookings per week.
Couriers don't bother o find the venue and leave without telephone calls and without refund. Another order was placed at a non identified or confirmed address, paid with my CC on file. It was delivered without the required code. No refund
Horrible experience - won't be using again
Made a food order at 7pm which didn't arrive until 9:45. Had to send my son to bed with toast due to the lateness of the meal. When the food finally arrived (after ringing around chasing) it was soggy and cold. The order was also wrong. I spoke with customer service and they were awful kept getting well feed it back. When i asked to log a complaint and have a reference I just get the same response each time "sorry for your issues, we'll ensure feedback is provided." It was my first time using delivery and it will definitely be the last time i use them. No apology and no offer of compensation. Shocking don't use.
Good never delivered and refund request refused
My 16 year old son ordered a burger and sides which came to around £30. No food was delivered, even though Deliveroo sent a notification that it has been delivered and signed for by "reception". There is no reception, it's just a house. There was no phone call. My son and two adults were in the house and never heard the doorbell or any knocking.
We spent a long time calling to talk to the company about this, but deliveroo remained adamant that the food was delivered, and refused to provide a replacement order or refund.
If I could leave zero stars I would.
Worst experience and customer service…
Worst experience and customer service ever, being treated horribly by them and even when they got my order wrong they tried to lie to my face that they didn’t, after sending screenshots they still didn’t help and they said it’s error and can’t help me and they said its great news for me that from now on from my feedback they will try do better…… what??? Why don’t they do better with my order then….they keep repeating that they can’t help me then why are they even called customer service?
