Be sure to come hungry....We were amazed with how much food we tried, and how great all of the food was. It was a perfect tour to do on our first night in Athens. We learned a lot about food, wine and olive oil and also went back to a couple restaurants later in the trip!

If you do one thing, when you arrive in Athens, book this tour, it’s a no brainer!! Julia is simply quite brilliant ✅

Julia was fantastic! She picks the best stores & vendors to bring you to! She’s funny, the store owners are fantastic & the food itself is amazing! Don’t overthink it, just book it!

Incredibly informative and fun at the same time. Really would recommend this for anyone wanting to learn about Greece, the food, and to eat their way through Athens. They provided great recommendations for the rest of our trip (in Athens and on a couple islands). I think it’s especially a great experience for the beginning of anyone’s trip.

The experience was really good, I had a lot of food even had a box with leftovers for my dinner. Douk is professional and tell us a lot of food and street market history. We had local pies, local coffee, tasted many Greek olives, visto local food shops and had a good lunch with Feta cheese included. Loved that

This food tour was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, but what made the experience unique was the combination of authentic local flavors, hidden gems, getting to know local vendors and interesting stories about the area's culture and history. Our guide was really knowledgeable and engaging, making every stop memorable. One of the highlights of my trip, and I highly recommend it!

Julia our guide is super knowledgeable about the making of Greek dishes and the regions providing the best quality ingredients.
She involves the members of the tour group and provides tastings at almost every stop.

Honestly my favourite activity during my visit of Athens, the food was delicious as promised and the stops throughout the city were amazing, I truely felt like part of the family.

Our host was SOOOO knowledgable and engaging. The tour was so generous with samples, and a full Greek meal at the end of the trip overlooking the Parthenon. Would absolutely do this again!!!

This is our second time doing this food tour with Julia and George ( because our first experience was so wonderful!) and this time was everv bit as wonderful as the first! These hosts make you feel so "at home" and introduce not just typical Greek food and history, but also things that take you deeper into a more authentic experience. The variety of things that we were able to see and dc made the experience unlike any other
What really made this experience special was how Julia shared her life in Athens....she grew up in this area and there were so many points in the tour where she showed us pieces of her childhood in Athens through her stories and her love for this community.
This tour isn't just about food, it's about the culture and the things that make Greece and it's food so unique
We would do this tour again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it! We loved it and truly feel like we've made some special friends!

Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The experience felt truly authentic, warm, and personal, not like a typical tourist activity. We discovered great local flavors, learned more about Greek food culture, and enjoyed every moment.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was friendly, and everything was very well organized. It felt like a real taste of Athens, with hidden local spots and genuine hospitality.

I can’t say enough good things about this food tour! I only wish we would have done it earlier in our trip. We absolutely loved our time & couldn’t have asked for friendlier guides!
