This place has a total disregard for…

This place has a total disregard for it's customers. The Jeanette store has a captive customer base because there is no close competition. I have had numerous bad experiences at this store and I have advised them of such in person and via their website. They care less about your complaint. I worked in my Grandfathers Grocery business where I quickly learned you do not question the customer who is paying you. At Delallo especially in the way overpriced prepared foods section pricing is posted. EX. a pound of ? is $12.95.

The Proper procedure when a customer ask for a pound of anything is to advise the customer if over a pound of that fact and ask if you are ok with the product being over and of course costing more. These morons do not ask! They hand it to you and it's adios, too bad if you don't like the overpricing. Today I told the hairbrained clerk who like most of the clowns employed there for an EXACT one pound of chicken wings . One pound $12.95. I was handed the wings and at checkout i was charged $13.50. if you are brain dead you should not be waiting on people. Delallo also states if you file a complaint you will receive a response only if they determine you deserve a response. My last complaint remains unanswered . Delallo is opening a restaurant at the local casino and the public is in for another shock because it will no doubt be run as poorly as it's store in Jeanette. BTW the apple pie I paid $12.95 for today has no apple taste and is MUSH. I suggest if Delallo is going to attempt making a pie seek advice from eat n Park.

Very Poor Order Processing and Delivery.

Dellalo's customer service is truly lacking in responsiveness. Takes forever to have items shipped. Have never had an order that made it to me by the promised delivery timeframe. Took ten days to get the order even ready for shipping. Order was placed 30 January. Anticipated delivery date is not until 17 February.

It's unfortunate the service doesn't live up to the product.

Customer Service Attitude Is Way Below Par

This is about the management at Delallo's - insensitive and just gross.

We bought a few of their sweets and found issues - cookies called butter cookies with no butter, but yes buttermilk; chocolate biscottis brown in color with little chocolate taste. We reported the issues and they offered a check as reimbursement, which is nice. Now they tell us to buy other brands because of our honest comments.

Let's look at it objectively ... they have butter cookies with mislabeled ingredients. Shouldn't they thank us for bringing it to their attention and get it correct? That would seem logical and the same holds for other Delallo foods. They do no quality control. They just blame the customer and are unwilling to make improvements.

Time to buy Greek brands. They know how to treat a customer with respect, even if once in awhile a product is to the customer's disliking.

0 Stars! I placed an order on Dec. 18, 2025 and picked delivery date of Dec. 31,2025. Called customer service on Dec 29, 2025 to check status because online said order still being fulfilled. Liz from customer service said that my order would be shipped today (dec. 29). On December 30 I called and spoke to Liz and she apologized and said she would make sure it went out today. I told her if it couldn't go out today, I want the order to be cancelled and refunded. On January 5, 2026 I called to cancel order. It was never shipped. Called corporate office on January 7, 2026 and the woman I spoke to told me it will be noted.

As far as an employer goes.speaking on…

As far as an employer goes.speaking on behalf of all employees. This is the worst place you would ever want to work . Their young micro management teams creates a hostile work environment for all employees. They don’t care and this review will never hurt their profits . But do yourself a favor and NEVER seek employment there unless your love being abused and treated like a sub human.

Online order experience is poor.

Online order experience is poor.
While their products are great, consistent and very high quality, their online ordering experience is poor and very outdated.
You select a shipping method/speed, but this is only the method of shipping and has no relationship to when they will get the order packaged and shipped.
On two recent experiences, before Christmas time they took 9 calendar days to process the order, so that the 5-8 days that I selected scrolled into the new year.
On a recent Valentine's order, they took 9 calendar days to ship (Thursday to Friday).
To exacerbate things, the posted customer service phoen number often doesn't work (gives loud tones). Their corporate customer service (good and timely) direct all online ordering calls to another location. In both follow up calls (one for each order), the responses were rude, even for S/W Pennsylvania.

I have ordered from DeLallo for several…

I have ordered from DeLallo for several years. We enjoy their sauces, condiments, pasta, and canolli shells and found that their prices are cheaper online than in our local grocery store. Items are carefully packaged - each jar or can comes tightly wrapped in bubble wrap, and we've had no trouble with dented cans, broken jars, or smashed cannoli/pasta. This is huge, as most retailers really tanked with regard to care with packaging or responsive customer service around the time of Covid. DeLallo seems to have kept their quality and we will continue to purchase their items in bulk online rather than pay an uncharge at the store. They also offer some pretty good sales throughout the year. :-)

Service Used to Be Great - Now It's Terrible

Service Used to Be Great - Now It's Terrible!
My wife and I have been Delallo customers for several years, mostly ordering from them online, and sometimes purchasing their items in local stores. They always packed the items well and never forgot to include anything we ordered, until the past year. With each order we received, items were missing, cans were dented, lids on jars were loose so that jar contents spilled inside the packing box, and items were no longer packed well. Each time there were problems with our order, my wife wrote to Delallo's customer service team via their website link. Instead of apologizing, they refunded the price of the items that were missing or damaged, which we discovered when reviewing our bank account. Delallo gave no explanation for their order fulfillment errors, no "sorry," no offer to replace the damaged items and send the missing items - they didn't even tell us we'd get a refund. We only found out when we checked our account, which we do regularly. But at least we got our money back. We then had to waste time reordering the same items, and paying shipping again, hoping the items would be intact in the subsequent order. Again, items were missing or damaged, and again, my wife reported the issue to customer service, and again, no apologies. Instead, they gave a long explanation, after several messages from my wife without any response, to excuse their poor service by saying they had several orders received at the same time. My wife told them she wouldn't buy from them again. We were on their email list, and they removed us, which is funny because they didn't even try to get us back. They simply didn't care and took us off their mailing list out of spite. Delallo used to be great, but now their service is lousy, their attitude toward customers is worse, and even more egregious, when the mistakes are theirs, instead of owning up to them, they get angry at their customers! What a sham, Delallo. You have a lot to learn about delivering great service. Not sure what happened to your company, but those who ran it well are obviously no longer employed there.
