Have recently complained about this once very good broker and now have encountered more problems this time with "proof of wealth". Demands are made in a peremptory fashion with deadline in bold letters. Emails do not contain helpful information. Really poor levels of customer service

This Is a company that is contactable by phone when at odd times of day have had difficulties in use at the my start of use my account and after and are helpfull. Do not have the full market yet as could not buy in India. but the do make you take tests to buy some shares. like the platform now i can use it.

CRap and I'm not even a customer. I've ben trying to sign up for over two weeks. The App asked for all your personal information. I have uploaded my passport over 10 times and despite the "App" saying yes, that's a nice photo-next step please" After waiting to be verified, when you log in the next time it says the photo (that it took for me) is (Get this) Too dar, Too Light, Blurred, Has a flash refection, Not Clear. WASTE OF TIME. I wont be sending them any of my money as I doubt they will pay out when they have to. I'll call this one a SCAM BROKER.

If you are new to trading this platform makes life easy.

It is set out so that its easy to understand even for a novice. Very pleased will update as I proceed.

Update. I am having to switch to trading212 as Degiro do not have an ISA forcing me to pay tax when I don't need to.

De Giro is becoming the most expansive plateform
They charge horrific exchange fees and fixed transactions fees !¬! They are the only plateform to do this.

Whilst it may offer cheap trading, DeGiro is a disaster if there is ever an issue. Customer service and communication simply does not happen if you follow its preferred email approach to questions; you are left to type into the void, completely ignored, as your money disappears into DeGiro's silence. For a financial institute to ghost those people using its customer service outlet is dreadful. Your only hope of even getting a response is the phone.

For the technical stuff, dealing is not as simple as at something like HL: it seems to need to find a buyer before anything moves, so it doesn't have the same peace of mind as a major platform as there is an element of uncertainty about whether, and when, a sale might happen (hence the cheap prices). I ended up removing my portfolio because the trade execution wasn't clean, for which I was charged heavily. Meanwhile, if a stock moves to a new exchange, my singular experience is that your shares becomes useless - DeGiro couldn't do the conversion for mine, but holds the now defunct shares saying the case remains open because they might be able to in the future. That has been 2 years and counting, and even advice forwarded from the company itself has been met with silence.

In short, nothing about my interactions with this company has shown it to be more than one-way suction: they'll happily take and hold onto your money, but are in zero rush to offer anything in return. Very poor.

Average broker, probably good fees (I am using only few specific products).

Issues?
- well, company behind Degiro trading have froze (this time) Russian stocks more than necessary by legislation, responses are generic - saying nothing useful, accounts/stock transfers anywhere else are practically blocked by waiting time, so I am losing my dividend which is available in many other brokers. Just stuck with Degiro.

- non-complete stock info: many stock are missing basic info e.g. ticker or at least minimal price (in overview)

When I got out, never get back. I do not trust anymore. Sorry.

An excellent and safe way to deal on the stock market for limited costs.

Good for quick trading, wich operates on a market order or, if not, on a stop loss order!

I've been using this broker for 18 months. Been great so far.
I've also tried withdrawing cash (small amount) to check they will pay out.

As usual, this platform is neat, straightforward, and quick. Buying of shares is done in seconds - within about two clicks.

Pretty good so far. 6 months into it. Everything smooth!

Super easy to track, buy & sell. Love that it is in English as well now.

Never traded before but, this is a great platform to operate from.

Great range of products, really low fees. It's missing some more complex products and exotic markets, but this is probably the best broker for stocks, indices and ETFs.

It has the best, most consumer friendly fee structure of any broker i've looked at, whilst giving access to a wide range of products.

Unfortunately the broker isn't available to non-Europe residents, but I assume this is due to regulatory concerns. I expect they'll expand in time.

The only complaint---and it's pretty minor---is that it's missing some graphing (portfolio performance and allocations graphs). There's also not much in the way of being able to do research within the platform, but there are other resources for this.

I think in time these minor pet peeves will improve.

As of the time of writing, Degiro is my primary broker, IBKR is my broker for anything i want that i can't find on Degiro. Which so far have only been items that Europe retail users can't get anyway, IBKR just shows you them and tells you they are unavailable for you.

Great platform simple to execute trades, a wealth of information too, and incredibly good value
