Delivered when expected, although the lorry's trolley wasn't able to lift the pallet about 5cm onto the drive. However I've used them many times before and would do so again.

Delivery person tried to deliver at 7.30am with no prior text notification. No place outside house and he insisted he’s come back after doing a couple more drops. Never came back.
Decorative Aggregates very unprofessional about it full of long story about why the driver has to crack on due to the number of hours he’s allowed to work?! And said he’d had an accident hmm. Delivery company didn’t say that. I said I wanted a refund and they said ok they’d refund me less a charge and hung up! Turns out the charge is £60! Seems I am getting punished for being upset with what happened as they took great glee in it

Absolutely terrible experience order just under £300 pounds worth of gravel on 26th may for delivery on 1st of June , plenty of notice you would think 1st June was constantly told on phone it was on the way didn’t arrive was promised it would be delivered Saturday 4th no delivery phone on Monday 6th was told it was on the truck on its way later that day spoke to someone else who told me on the computer it was showing still in warehouse so all previous calls I was blatantly lied to it finally arrived Tuesday 7th avoid like the plague needed another bag ordered from stone warehouse on Sunday arrived on time on Tuesday (different transport company )also reported the terms and conditions etc about the cost to cancel to trading standards who looked at website , , emails and these reviews and was told that this was not legal and they would be launching an investigation
Edit in reply
I am a HGV driver and work in the haulage industry and home delivery to be exact what you are stating is total bull in fact I have done a bit of work for the haulage company you use and know where they are and also know it is not a lack of communication between depots a planner plans the drops the warehouse loads them and the driver delivers
Also whether what you blackmail customers with is not for you to decide if it is legal and legit it is for trading standards to decide and their opinion is what matters you also mentioned the 6th but failed to acknowledge the delivery should of arrived on the 1st and then the 4th and then the 6th just to explain so you understand that is 3 yes 3 failed delivery promises and just to be clear when the customer puts a order in for delivery on a certain date you are entering into a contract and by not delivering on that date you are breaking said contract therefore customer is entitled to a full refund without penalties or prejudice that is what you are doing illegal
Edit
Also if it had been this week I could of been understanding because the computer system most haulage companies use called mandata has been hacked and is having to be rewritten because they will not pay the hackers which is right so anyone having bad deliveries this week please be patient
However the reason why you are having so many negative reviews is because you are using a cheap haulage company I will not name them but they have a reputation amongst drivers in the area and use a lot of agency they treat their drivers with the same disregard they treat the deliveries I take offense at the constant blame on the haulage industry when it is a simple case of you get what you pay for I advise you not to talk bull about the haulage industry to someone who knows the industry inside and out when the load is loaded onto a delivery you are aware and when it has not you are aware that is why the last lady I spoke to only had to look on the computer to know it was still in the warehouse because the systems are linked

Terrible experience from this provider, placed a £300+ order Sunday night only to find we could not take delivery on the original date, attempted to call them the following morning multiple times but we were unable to get through, when we finally got hold of them they told us they had shipped it and it would cost £170 to cancel the order.
If they had answered their phones or responded we would not have been stung £170 for good we didn’t receive.
Avoid using, clearly not putting the customer first.

Ordered a bulk bag of 20mm green slate- paid a bit extra for next day delivery and it came in the morning, just before the bank holiday. Delivery chap was very friendly. Also very impressed with the customer service and product quality. After a bit of rain to wash away the stone dust, the slate looks even better than I had thought it would- so pleased with it. Would definitely recommend to others and use them again myself.

After getting in touch with customer service in regards to our recent order, we’ve reaching common ground in terms of our remarks and demands after receiving the product. Impeccable service and good communication, nothing to complain.

Just been told over the phone by Walkers transport that my delivery won't be arriving today (1st June) after I've waited for it all day! So now the garden work I had planned to start tomorrow I have to cancel and waste everybody's time. I'm so angry that no explanation was given and that nothing could be done about it. Now I will have to book ANOTHER day off work on Monday 6th June to make sure I'm in to receive the delivery. Crap service in my opinion, wasting peoples time and money. Sick of deliveries not turning up when they are supposed to. Don't let customers choose their slots if deliveries won't show up on time. Simple as.

I’d give it zero if I could. Another company that thinks the customer comes last. Delivery on 1st June, they call me on the day to say it’s delayed till the 6th when the consignment has been at depot for 30 hours. The second you complain you are “abusive” another way of shutting you down. No offer of resolution, couldn’t cancel the order as would be charged restocking fee (yes, it’s in the small print).
Three days work ruined by these clowns. And the customer service response? She laughed. Nice.

Terrible company, continue to give totally false information. Customer service is a nightmare.

Absolute con
Delivery is awful, leaving it in a place not on my property and near the city centre where I would get fined in 10 minutes.
Also ended up with a £70 cancellation charge as "fuel prices are high".
Absolute con for leaving with me with a massive charge or breaking the law.
Edited just to say StoneWarehouse is miles better when it comes to delivery. 100% go with them.

Absolutely spot on from start to finish. Easy to order on website, communication excellent and order arrived in the 2 hour window.
The buff cotswold chipping we bought are just what we wanted. Wife super happy, therefore so am I!!

Very poor customer service and can’t turn up when they say they are going to then lie and say they’ve turned up then charge a stupid rate for redelivery

Having purchased a sample of black gravel(3-8mm) what arrived was far from black…..it was actually grey in colour. When I wrote to complain to customer services, the answer was it’s black when it’s wet!!!!! But charcoal in colour when not wet!!!!
The picture they show which I can’t upload shows BLACK gravel….
To then be we won’t refund you because we sent what you asked for!!! Even thou what I asked for showed black gravel in the images !!!
I wouldn’t buy from them and I wouldn’t recommend them either especially on their customer service

Ordered for delivery on Thursday before the Bank Holiday weekend. Took a day off work specifically so I could lay the slate over the weekend. Half way though the day I sent an email asking for confirmation that the order was coming as I didn't want to waste the whole day. Got an auto response that gave a number for customer services. I called and was assured that the order and would definitely be arriving. Hung around for the rest of the day and nothing; no delivery and zero communication. The order finally dumped on my drive the following Tuesday, without any notification or any response to my emails, and just in time for my return to work. I thought customer service like this disappeared long ago but apparently not.
So go ahead, place your order. You might get it, you might not. And they won't care either way.

Absolutely shocking company.i ordered some stones to come the following Friday to which I had an email to say they are delayed and they will be here the following tues.i stayed in all day for them not to come.got through on the phone to say it will now be Wednesday.no show once again then they said definately thurs in which they didn't turn up again. Absolute joke of a company. Ordered from another company and they came within 2 days no problem at all.

I would not order from this company again. The service has been so poor. The bag ordered was “polar white” supposedly “striking wintery white marble” as the website says. It’s grey, brown, cream it’s nothing like the pictures. They said it needs washing - where on the website does it say you need to wash it first? Nowhere. The delivery driver came to the house and dropped it off blocking the driveway. He was rude and unaccommodating. He had no equipment to move it and said “this is a budget service” you need to order from somewhere else if you want it moving. The customer service advisor on the phone was just as bad and tried to charge for a collection. She told us to order from somewhere else where the gravel doesn’t need washing then and hung up. She sent an email saying “customer has been abusive over the phone” and copied us in and then refused to speak to a manager. What an unreal experience.

Brilliant! First time user after two very disappointing previous purchases from “Gravelmaster”.
Ordered online a bulk bag of Dove grey chippings for our driveway and picked the delivery date (just a couple of days away) and hey presto it was delivered on the day and at the time advised by the freight forwarder. What a contrast compared with their competitors! Delivery driver dropped the pallet exactly where we wanted it so they get full marks too.
Only slight negative was a small hole in the bottom of the bag which has leaked some stone out but heyho, it arrived on schedule!
Highly recommended wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future if we need anything else.

We have ordered bulk gravel from this company on a number of occasions and every time our experience has been EXCELLENT.
If they have the product you're looking for my recommendation would be to order it from them. Their delivery partner, Walkers, have also been superb.

Excellent products and great price too, delivery is very fast and most impressive of all is that I ordered the wrong stone and emailed them, they replied within two hours and after paying a return charge which was totally acceptable as all my fault they refunded the remaining and will collect within two days so I can get different stone delivered, big shout out to Sarah in the office for providing excellent customer service which is very hard to find nowadays
