Their website showed that they had my of a running shoe in stock in black. It's not the colour that I wanted but I can live with that. I wanted to be sure of the fit so I went to the store rather than ordering online. This involved 30 minute bus journey to ferry port, 20 minute ferry journey, and ~50 minute bus journey. On arrival at the store, I was forced to leave my rucksack in a locker, which made me feel like a common criminal. What make this asinine pettifogging bureaucracy even more ridiculous is the I was wearing a coat, gilet, and cargo shorts which together have the same capacity as the rucksack. Next problem was finding the tunning shoes section: there are no overhead signs in aisles. I found the running shoes section but couldn't find the shoes. I asked an assistant where they were and pointed out some blue shoes and said that was the only Brooks that they had. The were way to small, so I asked him to check the stock, which came back blank,
