Employee turn over rate is through the roof. Had 3 different agents in 2 years. Collection agents keep calling. Tried endless time to contact BDO to put in a complaint. Finally heard back from Bethany who told me to handle it myself which I didn't. Finally they took responsibility after I threatened to not pay did they do something. Now they sent an email stating they didn't receive expenses form which I did send I then forwarded ALL dates they accused me of not sending. Nancy Snedden should be ashamed of herself and this bullshit company!!

After a very difficult time financially I contacted BDO. It will really change my life. Helped me to pay of my debt without bankruptcy and get on with my life. Yvette power helped me through the whole procedure with ease. Everything went very quickly and she was very helpful. Thank-you very much for all your help. Christine

I honestly thought I was in the right hands when it came to my debt. I was horribly wrong. I saw the trustee only for a few minutes, I was being dealt with by basically a sales rep who had no idea what was going on. Property was taken from me that had no business being removed from my possession. BDO St. John's refused to make any attempts at solving an issue they created.
I am no better off now than when I was before walking through their doors.
DO yourselves the favor and save yourselves the headache and DO NOT get involved with BDO. Worst experience of my life and I am a young guy who at the time of signing on, I had no idea what a mess they would make of my already poor situation.

Lack of Communication

I found I regularly had to contact BDO myself in order to confirm that my forms had been recieved, and whether or not I had completed all of my required documents. I even conctacted them AFTER the due date for taxes to be done to confirm that they had all of the required information from me to complete my taxes, only to find out that they had forgotten to ask me for all of my T4 information, and submitted my taxes late because of this. I found I was completing all of the requirements due to my OWN investment in getting out of my bankruptcy, with little guidance or help my from the employees. Additionally, I was only told after calling MULTIPLE times that I had indeeed been released, but my release form was just never sent out to me. Finally, I found it quite frustrating that I was expected to file my own release information to credit agencies when I obviously have no experience with them and have no idea if I have submitted this information correctly.

Horrible experience. They kept giving me different debt counsellors who did not even review my file before I would go in for a meeting. I had to do the second counselling session twice because no one recorded that I did it the first time. I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!

I would easily recommend the services of BDO to anyone. The process was great!

Been in bankruptcy almost 4 YEARS. They won't discharge me. Keep telling me they sent me a letter. They havent sent anything in the 4 years. Been paid off for 2 years and they are still taking my money. Passed in my expense forms 3 times and they keep losing in. Worst customer service. Try calling them and you'll get no where. Once you sign there's nothing you can do

I would recommend this company to anyone that is struggling. They are very personable and professional; they treat you with respect and don't look down on you for reaching out for help.

i felt very comfortable with the whole process with them, i was already feeling ashamed for having so much debt but rest assured i was not the only one. They educated me on credit uses and made me make a conscious decision to what was best for me in the end.

Very helpful staff, answered all my questions (even those that seemed stupid). provided my optuons and best and worse senerios. loved having all the information at my hands.

They helped me get through a difficult time and treated me with compassion and kindness! Very happy with the service they provided

Very knowledgeable staff. They really make you feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Would recommend anyone going through financial troubles to talk to them...my only regret was not going sooner.
