After literally years of hiding from collectors, I finally made the decision to call a BANKRUPTCY trustee. I went to BDO Belleville last week and the process couldn’t have been easier. Anne, the administrator in Belleville for my case, is both super-efficient and kind. She’s is not at all judgmental and she understands that life often gets in the way of plans. I now feel such a HUGE weight off my shoulders. I wish I’d made this move years ago, but I didn’t know my options. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend BDO in Belleville to help you manage your bankruptcy. (Also, Bipan, the BDO administrator who took my initial call and connected me to Anne, was so pleasant and thorough and prompt with emails and replies. Thank you.)

I would highly recommend BDO Belleville. I was very hesitant to go into their office, but that quickly disappeared when I meet Johanna, she is absolutely wonderful. She told me all my options and we decided on consumer proposal, I was nervous about it but my creditors accepted 100%. Rebecca also worked with me she to was awesome both these women are not judgmental, they treat you so good. Answered all my questions and my emails to them. The 45 days was hard to go through, but it all worked out in the end. Crystal at the front desk is also very nice and friendly. I would highly recommend BDO , and have passed their info on to others in need of help.Thank you BDO for all your help!

I was not dealing with the bellville office, I dealt with the st. John's Newfoundland office and their service was absolutely terrible.
Let's start with communication, the only contact I had with BDO through my entire 27 months was during counseling sessions and at the end for discharge.
I made sure that every month I submitted every document required and on time.
When it came time for discharge they requested every document for the past 27 months again!! There was no communication throughout saying that they had not received any documents.
Then trying to send the documents again the company is unable to open zipped files. This is a huge problem because most months submissions are to large to send all files individually.
The rep that I was dealing with at the end for my discharge was very rude because she had to go through all 27 months files again once I sent them for the 3rd time.
My overall experience with the st. John's office was an absolute joke for the national company that BDO is.

They screwed me out of a vehicle when I was more than willing and able to make the payments. The advisor is rude. And they do not respond in a timely manner.

BDO was extremely helpful to me. I was terrified to even go to the consult. I was ashamed and worried about being judged. My fears were quickly put to ease as the ladies were SO friendly and helpful. I would and have recommended them. Thank you so much for helping me in such an awful situation in my life.

The people in the Belleville office put me completely at ease and I felt much relief after talking to them. Excellent service would highly recommend this company.

I'm glad and relieved that I went in to BDO for credit counseling. The staff is friendly, honest, upfront and thorough. The process is quick and comprehensive and is the only real way to get out of unsecured debt that's gotten out of control.

They are very understanding and explain everything out step by step. We are very grateful for there help in a very dark time financially in our lives.
