They're going to try to extract every last cent from you. We paid around 50000 deposit up front, they ended up taking around 70000 - for a four bedroom.

I had the best customer experience

I had the best customer experience, talking with Marko from DEAS. He really helped me with my problems that I was facing, and was super pleasant and nice to talk to. I was very happy with the experience :)!!

Bad customer service

They don't give about their customers. They increased the rent and ignored our rejection. We've been in contact with them for months now and the customer service is really bad. They just never get back to you.. We're also paying extra fees every month for no reason that are just added to the bill.

We are sorry to hear that you don't feel DEAS cares about their residents. This is of course not the case.

According to your contract your rent will increase once every year due to taxes and rates. It is a part of the lease and unfortunately not something we can change. We are of course sorry that this has a bigger effect on our residents. Regarding the extra fees on your bills we have send you an email in September with specification of this.

As for the mentioned ignored emails we can't find any unresolved correspondence with you. If this is not the case please send these to minmening@deas.dk.

The process went very fast and smooth

The process went very fast and smooth. We selected our options in the website and the next day, we received a reply from Trine who helped us with the rental process. We could get to see the apartment the day right after our contact.
We have been quite satisfied with the rental process.

DEPOSIT SCAM!

Dear DEAS,

I lived in Blækhus Vanløse from November 2021 until April 26th (when I returned my keys and officially moved out). A New Tennant started living in the unit on May 15th, 2022. I was told everything looks fine since I have taken good care of the apartment and that the only thing that needs fixing is a new paint job, a standard procedure that a contractor provided by DEAS can only do, as stated in the housing contract.

I have NOT received my DEPOSIT since today, August 10th, 2022. Its been more than 12 weeks since a new tenant has lived in the apartment. How is this possible?!

Every attempt I have made to contact DEAS resulted in your workers either not knowing or shuffling me around to another person not knowing. Eventually, I was told that the deposit return delay was due to a missing invoice from the painters that have renovated the unit. Seriously? I am an architect, and I have never heard of a contractor that does not submit their invoices after 12 weeks?! This honestly feels like a scam and makes me question why they withhold my money.

I have been talking to 5 different people on the phone who all tell the same problem, but no one seems to be able to find a solution. When I finally found someone who said she would look into the issue, she stopped working at DEAS a week later. Great!

I am writing this review because I seriously do not know what to do anymore, so please, DEAS! Get your house in order and give me my deposit back.

We apologize for this experience, and we agree with you that it has taken far too long to settle your deposit.

The reason is that we had not received the bill from the craftsman who carried out the renovation. We have pushed for the bill continuously since the end of June and we only managed to receive it on 11 August 2022. We can therefore inform you that your settlement is on its way, as we have now finally received the missing bills.

We are truly sorry for the process you have been exposed to, and that you've been shuffled around. We will use this inquiry to improve the process regarding settlement of deposits with vacated tenants.

Quick and great experience

I had to contact DEAS to lease an apartment and I'm not Danish, not even yet living in Denmark. Natasja and Caroline were very kind to help me through the process even with me still outside Denmark.

A true ally on our apartment hunt

Finding an apartment in Copenhagen when you are 1,000 kilometers away seems like an impossible challenge. But Alberthe from DEAS made it happen! With great patience, a lot of understanding and always with a smile, she managed to find an apartment for us. She was a true ally on our apartment hunt. We are very grateful to Alberthe and also very grateful to her collegue Annmarie who coordinated all the documentation. It was our pleasure to work with both of them and we very much look forward to moving into our new apartment very soon.

Please stay away from them!

This is a very unprofessional and mismanaged agency. Please beware before dealing with them in any form. They have no organisational communication; they never respond to emails. When called, everyone in their organisation either gives a different answer or blames it on someone else and transfers your call.

Once you sign a contract, you will have to email and call them constantly for the tiniest of issues and errors. If you luckily get their response via email, they are generally very rude and reply in one sentence, which doesn't answer your query in any form.

I have a series of email conversations to support this review. Just be careful while dealing with them.

So DEAS replied to this review immediately after the post but did not reply to my email that I sent them an hour (and also many emails from the past many weeks) before posting this review. This happens when you care about your outside image as a company rather than the customers. If you cared about your customers in the first place, you wouldn't have to save your image later on!!
