Initially I was keeping my expectations low.. ordering a couch online is stressful! But boy, this has turned out to be such a nice experience. Shipping was crazy fast, the delivery guys were ON TIME and SO NICE.. I was shocked. The couch feet were so well packed and easy to put on, the couch color is EXACTLY what was shown online and is quite comfortable. Needless to say, I’m super happy with this purchase so far. Would totally recommend and buy here again.

Very happy with my new purchase.
After having bought a sofa (paula) four years back, which still looks and feels impeccable to sit on, I bought another item to complement my new space.
The service at the show room was lovely as I remember, and I took my time until I landed on a bench with a velvet cover. It arrived promptly within a week and a half and now that it has been in the space for about 3 weeks I can say it is very good and I would buy it again!

I like the shorter window of delivery. They give a 1-2 hr window the day before delivery which is helpful to plan the rest of the day.
Delivery guys are also professional.

I recently purchased a sofa from Sofacompany, and while the product itself is absolutely perfect, the experience with their delivery partner (Rhenus) was extremely disappointing.
First I received the sofa in a wrong color, in addition I was told that Rhenus would remove tha package and take with themselves. However, when they delivered the sofa, they said I would have to pay extra for the packaging to be taken.
I complained with SofaCompany, who set an exchange to the right sofa color, and gave me free assemble as a gift.
However, the second delivery atempt was even worse. Despite having notified Sofacompany that I live on the second floor, the delivery team from Rhenus arrived visibly irritated about having to carry the sofa upstairs. They claimed there would be an extra 120€ charge for delivering to the second floor, which was never clearly communicated to me beforehand.
Then I was already feeling insecure about it, specially since I dont speak well German, and while they were mounting the sofa, they scratched all my wood floor.
After they mounted the sofa, they started again saying that I didn’t tell them it was on the second floor, and that I would have to pay 120€ for Rhenus. I said it was not my mistake, and they said they would not tell Rhenus about it, but suggesting I should “do something” in exchange, which I assumed was money. They were saying things like “was können wir machen?” and “if I tell Rhenus, you will receive an invoice”. I told them to send me the invoice then.
After they left I was still a bit shocked and weird about these interactions, and only then I decided to sit on the sofa, which I realised was not well mounted at all. The sofa were bumping every time I sit on it.I had to disasemble everything and do it another time myself.
I love the sofa, the style and the color, but unfortunately I would never recommend Sofacompany to a friend, just because of Rhenus. The first time they were also very aggressive about having to deliver on the second floor, they tried to make me pay to open the package and take the box back, and delivered the wrong color. Now, this second time was an even worse experience.

UPDATE: the company customer service is very helpful whenever there is something not up to the standard in the sofas they sell. They come up with convenient solutions to make sure you have the sofa of your dreams.
The company declined to change or cancel my order after 14 days in August even though the order was to be produced more than 2,5 months after it was ordered!
That is not possible that you can’t change something that is only going to be done in 3 months.
I’d say it’s a customer service that is not trying to find solutions at all and does what is easy
Update: I sent on August 25, in which I requested a change to the order—a request that SofaCompany declined. This request came within 2 weeks of the order and should have been possible to make. However, the company declined, despite the fact that production was scheduled to take 14 weeks in total anyway

Really nice and helpful personnel in the show room.
The sofa we ended up buying was advertized as ready for delivery in a couple of weeks and indeed it was delivered in less than 2 weeks. The delivery company ended up chasing us to set up a date :). Love the sofa! The only thing that I would have liked it to perhaps more colors available in a shorter time frame,.less than 14 weeks. That did not prevemt us from buying.
The delivery went well and in agreed time slot. It is true that delivery crew does not speak good German, but neither do I.
We had organized a pick up and disposal of our old sofa with them and when they hit a major problem (not of their making. Our lift got stuck) they were absolutely brilliant.
All in all we are really pleased with Sofa company and would reccomend them.

Unfortunately we have had a bad experience. UPS the shipping company that SOFACOMPANY works with lied about us not being home for 3 times to get our shipment, delaying our delivery for weeks as the product went back to the warehouse then they did it again and we needed to pick up our purchase somewhere else. The whole process was very stressful and SOFACOMPANY said that they cant do anything regarding UPS unprofessional service what is very disappointing considering that the delivery is part of the customer experience. Even that is UPS fault the fact that they said that they cant do anything about it makes the customer experience bad and complicated.

We bought Alfred sofa a year ago. The stitching is not perfectly aligned on the inside of the curve, which I fear in time will result in a tear, but the biggest problem is the chemical smell. We kept the new sofa in an empty well aired room for almost 3 weeks in attempt to get the VOC's to evaporate faster. It smelled bad for many more weeks and we didn't want to use it. Would we have known it will be that bad, I would have never purchased it as the sofa is also not that comfortable in design and pretty hard to sit on. The only reason we didn't return it, was the mentioned hassle reported by many reviews here. I would not recommend Alfred sofa.
