I popped in on the off chance, as my warning light came on for tyre pressure, and my usual site in Blandford was out of order. What lovely helpful people! No problem, they did this for me straight away with a smile. Highly Recommend.

DCM tyres in Shaftesbury is by far the worst garage I’ve ever dealt with, and unfortunately, I’ve had to use them multiple times because other local garages are usually overbooked. Every visit has been a nightmare. They seem to overcharge for everything and have a habit of ‘finding’ additional problems every time you go in – sometimes they even make issues up, only to hold your car until you agree to their inflated prices.

Most recently, I went in for an MOT. They charged £49.50, whereas other garages in Shaftesbury charge £40. They failed my MOT due to worn brake pads, but given my history with them, I wasn’t convinced. I took my car to my regular garage, and while my pads were worn, they were nowhere near the legal limit. I got them replaced for half the price DCM quoted. When I called DCM to book a retest, they wanted another £20 – a legal charge, sure, but no other garage has ever charged me for an MOT retest before. It’s not about the money, but the complete lack of customer service and fairness.

A previous experience was even worse. I brought my 3 Series in for a simple wheel alignment, and they ended up calling me every half hour to add hundreds of pounds to the bill. By the time they finished, it was close to £700. They’ve pulled similar stunts on my Lexus in the past, and back then, my company was covering maintenance costs, so I let it go. But after years of dealing with DCM, I’m convinced they’re more con artists than mechanics.

Avoid DCM Autocentres if you value your time, money, and car. This is the most untrustworthy garage I’ve ever come across.

Fantastic service!!! I turned up on spec with a slow puncture. They made me feel as if I were their most important customer. Quick, efficient, great value...and all done with a "can do" attitude and a welcoming smile!!

DCM had patience over a few days to identify the problem with my BMW X5. When they found the fault they ensured that the car was running properly before signing off the work. In fact it is now running better than at any time in the three years I have had it.
Everyone I dealt with were friendly, helpful and understanding. The mechanics came across as being particularly knowledgable.
Communication was very good.
I would highly recommend DCM.

Excellent experience with DCM tyres Shaftsbury on 25/08/2023; after a very difficult day I was trying to get back Pimperne to Bath when I drove over nails in the road resulting in a immediate flat tyre and another with a nail embedded.

I sorted the flat tyre but needed the back tyre sorting so that I could return home. Despite it being 1700 (they closed at 1800) I called and explained the situation to ask if they could replace my tyre that evening despite me only being able to get there at 1730 at the earliest. The initial lady I spoke to was professional, helpful and accommodating stating they could do it that evening. On arrival the whole team were friendly, explained everything and were very quick in replacing my tyre. After my very difficult day this was amazing and I am very grateful, thank you all at DCM Tyres Shaftsbury!
