I really cannot recommend Davonport highly enough. The build quality and attention to detail of their cabinetry is unsurpassed.
For me though what sets them apart is the team effort from everyone we had the pleasure to deal with.
The designers were fantastic; their sole focus was on helping us to create a kitchen that was right for us never on trying to sell us items that we had no interest in.
The installer was a pleasure to have around and an absolute perfectionist in all that he did.
Once the installation was complete a "finishing painter" came in to make the joints between adjacent cabinets disappear and to give a completely seamless appearance to the cabinetry. He too is a perfectionist.
Finally, the overall management of the project was handled beautifully ensuring that the entire installation was a completely stress free experience.
If you are looking for a British made high quality kitchen you need look no further than Davonport.

Our journey with Davonport's has been one of great excitement from the moment we spotted 'our dream' kitchen in their showroom in Colchester to when it was installed this year. We first started planning our kitchen 5 years ago when our building plans were still very much at the drawing board stage, but we wanted to have some idea on the type of layout we could have in order to make sure we put the services in the correct place for when we did actually create our new extension. Even though our project was some way off, the team at Davonport's were more than happy to assist us with ideas and suggestions. And after seeing the first drawing of how our kitchen could look, we knew we had come to the right place.
From the very start we found Richard and his team helpful, professional and very approachable (which was lucky as we must have changed the design around 5 times- sorry!). Their designs and expert advice have resulted in us having more than just a kitchen beyond our dreams. Their ethos has always been,'it has to be right for you' which it truly is. The quality of the product, attention to detail and workmanship is faultless.
From planning and design to installation and aftercare, Davonport's are outstanding.Thank you Richard and Jack for your designs and patience, Kevin for overseeing the install and making sure everything should be as it should, Graham for your amazing work installing our kitchen - your craftsmanship is beyond exceptional, and not to forget Mark who lovingly painted the finishing touches on our beautiful kitchen.
The excitement continues every day when I open the door and walk into my stunning kitchen!

I don’t normally write/partake in any kind of reviews, however it is too important to say nothing.
I have not had the previous pleasure of dealing with such a first rate, professional kitchen installer before, however richard and his team have gone “above and beyond”!
A special thank you must go out to “Kevin” for constantly being their as and when required to rectify any issues we have been faced with. Nothing is too much trouble and the after service really is off the chart! A big thankyou to everyone at the company for making our new home move such a seamless and pleasurable experience, I will certainly be informing my friends and family about the quality of the workmanship and professsonal outfit that Davonport Colchester have supplied. Well done all!!

We ordered a superbly constructed kitchen with planned install date. We had issues with the shell of our building which delayed the install by 3 weeks. Davonports changed their plans around and managed to give us a start date which they adhered to. They kept us appraised of all the issues they had with staff holidays and the issue of our cupboard sizes had changed and needed remaking.When they said they would be on site they were. The installer Graham was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. Due to us being fitted in because of our delays Kevin the project manager dusted off his tools and helped Graham. The experience was something we can simply say we've never had before. Absolutely everything about this massive purchase Davonports dealt with in a hugely professional and confident manner so much so my wife who is a bit of a stress head didn't get stressed.
Mark who comes in last(the strong silent type) is a magician. He rectified all the very slight marks made during installation and left our new kitchen looking bloomin fantastic. My wife and I cannot recommend Davonports highly enough. They are truly PERFECT.

Life changing kitchen, a pleasure to prepare, cook and enjoy the aesthetic features of this superbly designed kitchen by Jack. My sons are now enthusiastic cooks and as a family we can all enjoy cooking together for friends and family. The attention to detail by Graeme and Kevin fitting the kitchen was superb. From start to finish Davonport offer a very professional service. We visited Davenport during Covid as we were in the process of building a new home. We had looked at many other kitchen companies, but wanted something bespoke, top of the range, luxurious, and above all quality. Davenport did not disappoint, they were amazing. Emma our designer was very patient, this was a huge project for us, and it had to be 100% right. Emma must of changed our cad drawings at least 5 times. And I can honestly say that I have a dream kitchen, I had lots of input and Emma come up with lots of ideas. My kitchen is Fabulous, its easy to work in, everything is placed exactly to get the best out of it and it looks superb. Everyone that visits our home just say "Wow!!" when they see it. The fitters were first class, even noticing little impurities and getting them corrected. The after sales have been fantastic, with Davenport sending someone down to check the kitchen for any snagging that might be needed. Not only that they have promised to come back in a year to check it over and touch up anything that might need doing just in case I've marked it. The little special extra touches make me smile every time I look at them. Like the name of our house engraved on the mantel above the range style cookers, and the antique mirrored pantry with lighting, the pegs in the drawer to keep the plates in place, and the curved and shaped island. Unfortunately we went with another company for our wardrobes, but so wished we had paid extra for Davonport to do them as well.

I have had 2 kitchens from these guys and both have been spot on. Service and quality is second to none, I can highly recommended them. Kevin and Richard looked after everything, nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We tried out Davonport on a little library in our house, we were so pleased with the end result and the service we got that we had them back to do our kitchen. They executed our brief perfectly adding their own brilliant ideas and invaluable guidance throughout the project. Highly recommend and will not hesitate to use them again.

We hired Davonport to design and instal a new study. They worked seamlessly with our builders to ensure a fantastic end result. Davonport is a premium service at a premium price. Their design, craftsmanship and attention to detail is first class. Delighted with our new study!

We recently used Davonport for our kitchen extension.

Having carried out much preliminary research - including visits to showrooms and to look at friends' new kitchens - we chose Davonport from our final shortlist of 3 companies. Their product quality, professionalism, nothing-is-too-much-trouble approach, and showroom and factory set-up were key deciding factors for us.

We were not disappointed; in fact, we were delighted. From early-stage design meetings at home and at Davonport's comfortable premises through to more detailed design and appliance selection, to superb installation and post-installation follow-up, the process could not have been easier or more enjoyable.

Our new kitchen looks - in our opinion - so lovely, while also being completely practical. The quality is superb. It is no exaggeration to say that we have been overjoyed with it.

It is therefore probably not surprising to learn that would - and do - heartily recommend Davonport to friends looking to install a high-end, high quality new kitchen.

We spent many months visiting various showrooms throughout Essex and eventually walked into Davenport. We had a set idea on the design we were looking for and they were so willing to accommodate our wishes and make suggestions. Nothing was a problem for them and they were proud to show us the quality of their workmanship which is fantastic. The kitchen is now installed and we could not be happier with the finished product. We would recommend this 5* company and its excellent personnel without hesitation.

I cannot sing the praises of this company enough. There are very few companies that you come across that not only deliver a fantastic, quality product but do it with fantastic customer service. Davonport is one of those rare companies. The service, care, product and attention to detail are faultless. I am so so pleased with my kitchen but even more pleased with the experience!

It's been 25 years since we replaced our hand made kitchen. We searched around to find a company that could give us the quality of workmanship we had before, we chose Davonport, and it's now complete and fitted.
