A leap of faith

I began my journey with David and Parker in late November 2025. Over the past five months, I have lost a total of 18 pounds and reduced my clothing size from XXL to XL. Prior to joining the program, one of my long-term goals was to improve my health to the point where it would no longer impact my quality of life or limit new experiences.

I recall a trip to Japan where my health significantly affected my overall enjoyment—constant fatigue and daily calf cramps made it difficult to fully engage. More recently, during a trip to Montreal, I noticed a marked improvement. I experienced less fatigue and was able to sustain prolonged periods of travel without feeling exhausted.

What I value most about their program is the emphasis on building sustainable habits and the guidance they provide in helping you take the necessary steps to achieve long-term goals. Since joining, they have delivered clear nutritional guidance, well-structured workout routines, and consistent, actionable feedback. The program stands out through its use of instructional videos and slide decks, which streamline the workout process, reinforce key concepts, foster a positive mindset, and promote a more informed approach to fitness.

Another significant milestone has been overcoming my initial hesitation about going to the gym regularly, as well as consistently applying the nutritional principles taught in the program. Overall, the program offers exceptional value for the investment. For anyone who may feel apprehensive about taking the first step, I strongly believe there is no better option than working with David and Parker—their commitment to their clients’ progress and success is truly unmatched.

Busy Surgeon on the Go 👍🏻

I’ve just completed 32 weeks of training with David and Parker, and the experience has been genuinely transformative. Over this time, I’ve seen noticeable improvements in my muscle definition and learned how essential it is to track my food and maintain appropriate calorie goals.

These habits have become a meaningful part of my daily routine and something I’ll continue moving forward.

I’m especially grateful for the consistent support and guidance throughout the entire process. Even while I was simultaneously training for a half marathon—which I completed for my 45th birthday—I felt fully supported and encouraged to stay on track with both my strength and endurance goals.

Thanks to this program, I’ve built sustainable habits and now continue with a four‑day weightlifting split paired with regular cardio. It’s a structure that fits seamlessly into my lifestyle as a busy professional.

I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone looking for accountability, structure, and real results—especially those juggling demanding schedules.

Over the past 5 months I have dropped…

Over the past 5 months I have dropped from a size 40 to a size 36 while working with David and Parker. Their response time, nutritional guidelines, and detailed workout plans which are directly delivered to the app they use are incredible. The workouts are great and simplified because every workout comes with a video showing how to do with the exercise. lastly, I feel great, and my health is better than it has been in years. The price is very reasonable too and I have gained much more from this than any doctor appointment I have had in my life, which are more expensive and usually come with a bunch of medication’s that never solve the core of the issue. If you want to take back control of your life and get your health back on track, I highly recommend working with David Wang and his partner Parker!

Fantastic

I joined David Wang Fitness in October. In only 16 weeks, I managed to lose 27 pounds and several inches off my waist. David and Parker are wonderful coaches. They are knowledgeable and encouraging. Furthermore, they are highly responsive to any inquiries I may have, whether it be regarding diet, exercise, mindset, or habit related, and are even highly available. I do not feel any hesitation to contact them when I might be wondering about a restaurant menu or concern about my RDL posture.

The program as a whole is very well structured. It includes workouts as well as habit and mindset training. All of these help to form long lasting results. There's also a weekly community call to celebrate wins and focus on a specific topic, often dispelling myths about fitness that many may have had misconceptions on.

One of my favorite parts is I'm still able to enjoy many of my favorite dishes - the difference being that now I am able to make more informed choices in regards to the volume I consume and the approaches. Teriyaki chicken bowl? Get the sauce on the side, and maybe only use half.

I'm looking forward to continuing success the program!

Life changing

The programs made for you through David Wang Fitness are truly geared towards you, your life, and your situations. I am a busy dad of 3 kids and the team helped me work it around them and my life. This program isn't about quick results and hacks, it's about creating a solid foundation around knowledge and empowerment. Now don't get me wrong you need to put in the work to see the results, but if I can do it, anyone can!

Great program…


I had an excellent experience working with David and Parker . The program was well-structured and focused not just on workouts, but on building long-term habits. Over time, I saw clear improvements in my strength, endurance, and overall consistency with training. The guidance was practical, motivating, and tailored to my capabilities, which helped me stay disciplined and injury-free. Highly recommend for anyone looking to build sustainable fitness rather than quick, short-term results. I have never been so consistent ever with workouts as I use to aggravate my prior injury and lose motivation but with Parker as my personal coach he kept me motivated and supported throughout my training. I have build more muscles without getting injured by just focusing on the program and with small changes to nutrition.

From ‘I Go to the Gym’ to ‘I Actually Know What I’m Doing’

Fantastic coaches. Working with David Wang Fitness, especially with my coach Parker, has been genuinely transformative.

In just 12 weeks, I went from 175 to 161 pounds, while building lean muscle and steadily reducing body fat in a way I could never figure out on my own, even after years of going to the gym.

What really sets this team apart is their commitment to precision and science-based programming. Parker did far more than give me workouts, he refined my nutrition, optimized my training schedule, and brought a level of strategic detail that finally made everything come together. The process feels clear, intentional and grounded in real expertise rather than guesswork.

The team at David Wang Fitness also takes a truly holistic approach. While you are dialing in your macros and reps, you are also working on mindset, building consistency, practicing gratitude and learning to trust the process. The alignment of mind and body makes the experience feel balanced and scalable.

I also want to highlight Parker’s ability to work with a wide range of goals at the same time. I came in wanting to lower my blood pressure, lose body fat and grow my chest muscles, all within a tight schedule. Parker organized all of this into a realistic and cohesive plan that made each goal feel both manageable and inter-connected.

David Wang Fitness program is an outstanding program

David Wang Fitness program is a complete and customized fitness and nutrition program designed for professionals to achieve their goals. David and Parker work hand in hand to develop a customized program based on your goals and needs.

The program is comprised of meeting with your assigned coach via Zoom, on a weekly/biweekly basis. After the program is designed, you mainly follow the nutrition and workout programs set for you. You are being monitored by your coach via nutrition and their custom branded app.

Coaches are very responsive on private coaching thread regarding any questions/concerns you might have.

They create a customized workout and nutrition plans based on your goals and they keep you accountable in completing the task and achieving your goals.

I had lost ~ 10 lbs, 3.5 inches off waist measurements, ….

Every week, there is a community call with coaches and the other members to discuss the wins/challenges and any specific subjects to be covered.

David & Parker are ultimate professionals and outstanding in their fields.

I highly recommend David Wang’s program.

I was moving across the country and wanted to develop a stronger workout plan. In 10 weeks, I went from 230lbs to 214lbs. David and his team do a great job explaining nutrition compared to four different nutritionists I have seen in the past. They can give you a solid starting platform. The group chat function is quite helpful when you don't know what to do, and they respond very quickly even on weekends. Overall, if you don't know where to start with fitness and nutrition, it's worth giving them a chance.

An effective personal training program

I had been looking for a good personal training program when I came across a David Wang Fitness ad on Instagram. I had been struggling for years to see improvement in my fitness goals and thought it was time to bring in the pros. I responded to the ad and had a call with David to learn about the program. You will need to be prepared for a strong sales pitch, and they will likely encourage you to sign up during the initial call. The program is not cheap, but as with most things, you get what you pay for.

The program is very comprehensive, with structured learning activities each week that include documents, guides, articles, and videos. There are also weekly calls with others in the community, providing information and discussion to keep you motivated, along with a Facebook group for further conversation. They have a great app that helps you manage your daily program of learning and workouts that are custom-built for you. The checklist makes it easy to follow your progress and stay on top of everything so you're not too overwhelmed.

The best part of the program though is the personal interaction with your trainer. You have a private chat in WhatsApp where you can post videos of your workouts for feedback and ask questions, ensuring everything is tailored to your needs. I have struggled with back and shoulder pain since doing athletics in high school, and we were able to find exercises that were effective but minimized inflammation. It was also invaluable to receive feedback on daily nutrition tracked in MyFitnessPal and discuss alternative ways to obtain the necessary macros while staying within the calorie budget. They were able to suggest great products and substitutions for my favorite foods that I might never have found on my own.

Ultimately, I was able to achieve definite changes to my body in just four months, including noticeable fat loss. However, I was especially excited about gaining inches in my chest, arms, and legs, which I had struggled with for years to accomplish on my own. As you may already know, this is especially hard for those of us in our middle years. All in all, if you have the means, this is undoubtedly a program with the resources to help you achieve the tangible results you are looking for.

A Program That Works (If You Work)

I was middle aged (47) and not making progress losing weight (staying around 200 lbs). I had tried fad diets and some exercise, but I would always end up yo-yoing with my weight. I also did not have much understanding around exercise. I would follow a fitness video and hope for the best. Thus, a fad diet with disconnected exercise was not helping me lose weight, slim down, nor improve my health.

I saw an ad on Instagram aimed at STEM professionals looking for a fitness program, and I was intrigued. I had seen a few programs advertised on social media, but I had never seen one targeted toward professionals interested in a data-driven fitness program. I reached out and met David. It was a great discussion and it start my journey of results.

I started in the program and have continually had results, making significant progress each week that builds onto the next week. There is lots of teaching and learning opportunities as well as structure: tracking calories and a real exercise program. David and Parker provide the tools as well as live advice, zoom meetings, community calls, and text access for any and all questions. All these resources culminate into a successful, supportive journey that yields results. However, you have to do the work.

David and Parker set the stage for each community member to succeed. It is up to each member to participate and do the work. I do not always want to do the workouts nor track what I am eating. However, I absolutely love the results. Thus, you learn to engage the process and learn to appreciate making changes to see results. You learn how to make better choices with physical activity and food to continue to see results.

I have had many wins and great results. My clothes are no longer tight, and I can wear more and more of my clothing that stopped fitting. I see changes in my body as well as no more bloating or feeling "blah" every day. I actually have energy, and I can see muscles forming. I also broke through my plateau weight and fell below 200 lbs after a couple months. These are results of me working through the DWF program. While I did put in the work, the tailored workouts, training around nutrition, excellent coaching, and lots of Q&A all helped me to see results that I have always wanted to see since I was in my 20s.

I can only recommend the DWF program if you are considering it. It is worth the investment in yourself if you are interested in seeing results. They provide structure and education, but you have to bring the commitment and be prepared the work. It is great to be part of a program that provides the right tools to help you achieve your goals.

Never too old to change your life

I just reach a new decade in my live and I didn't like where my health and fitness was. I was a pretty active person and would taking some fitness class 3-4 times a week but I still didn't feel like the best version of myself. I decided to make a change and joined David Wang Fitness. My goals at the beginning of my 16 week program was to go from 175lbs to 160lbs and to improve my cardio. It's only been 10 weeks into my program and I already hit both my goals. Although my cardio has improved, there is always the next level of cardio to hit.

My experience with the program was straight forward, Parker gave me my macronutrient targets and came up with a workout plan that works with my schedule. I would log into my David Wang Fitness App and see my daily schedule. I loved this a lot because it keep me accountable. Also it wasn't required but I wrote down my next day schedule on a white board just before I go to bed, this way I have a plan or idea what is instore for me the next day. Also through out the weeks you'll get some training video to help you build better habits and making better choices.

If you follow the program and take David and Parker's advice and guidance, you will succussed in your fitness journey. I got to my first fitness goals accomplished in 10 weeks over 16. Now it time to set some new goals and continue the journey.

Amazing Training to become Nightwing!!!

D.W. Fitness is just absolutely amazing period! I'm grateful to have Parker and David as my coaches as they continued to provide guidance, training, and support to build me both physically and mentally. Not only that but they've also built it into a community where we all come together and converse about our goals, wins, mindset and trainings. And we all strive toward the same goal of being a better version of ourselves.

Before my journey I struggled being in and out of the gym and sometimes a week at a time. A few years back I use to be a constant gym goer till complications arose. When I got started with D.W.F., I told them about the struggles I deal with and we were able to build a plan that worked around it. They gradually had me getting use to the daily routine and made sure I never fall off, even with my busy schedule. Which I have to say is one of the biggest things I love about this program and community is they constantly keep me accountable! Absolutely love it! (Hahah) They've helped me keep track of every bit of process throughout my growth from nutrition, body measurements, weight, progress photos and just the weekly check-ins to really look back and notice any difficulties/progress that may need to be worked on or just general achievements.

Although I did have my fair share of walls and obstacles in the process but still I kept pressing. 1 thing you don't ever want to do if fall back behind again. Must keep moving forward no matter what. I was on vacation during the beginning stages of my training and even with an early itinerary I still made time to get my workouts in to accommodate myself. I had times I worked long hours but would still manage to get enough rest and wake up going straight to the gym before going back to work again. I even happened to spill boiling hot water on myself yet even with the burn damage and scabbing I had, I kept pushing and working out (just made sure I accommodated my workouts in accordance to what I can and can't do due to the healing process). Bottom line no matter what issues may arise keep pushing and continue to hold strong. Never let anything hold you back from your goals and what you want to accomplish. David and Parker have definitely be there with me through it all and they'll be there to motivate you ever step of the way.

When I came into this program I told David and Parker that I want to come out looking like Nightwing at the end of it (hahah) and honestly with their help I have reached so much closer to that goal. They do more than build your body, but your strength and mind as well. I'm thankful to have Parker and David as my coaches and hope you would as well. Trust their training and their guidance, they are great people and will get you to where you want to be. Nightwing signing off!

Excellent Physical Fitness (Remote) Coaching Services

This review is from the perspective of someone who does NOT play sports casually or professionally and did not previously try any kind of fitness coaching services, much less those done remotely. As of the time of this review, I will have spent about 2 years worth with them when my programme ends in November 2025 after starting to use their services in December 2023. I found out about David Wang Fitness via Instagram. I was expectedly initially very cautious from lacking any previous experiences with any kind of fitness coaching services, having only initial impressions from their Instagram account and website to go off of, and was worried that I would not be able to receive help in person (e.g. meeting in person to directly receive feedback and supervision when exercising), as often can be the case with these sorts of services. I am very glad that my initial caution ended up being mitigated as the people who run David Wang Fitness have been fantastic at all steps of my time using their services, starting with the initial video call meetings to discuss my participation. My primary fitness coach was Parker, but also with David as needed. Both have demonstrated outstanding ethics, empathy, flexibility, honesty, communication skills, professionalism, supportiveness, and knowledge in relation to helping me with my particular fitness goals. I found their approaches to be much more holistic as their focus not only includes nutrition and physical exercise training, but also mindsets. They ensure consistent accountability and communication with regular checks made about the personalised physical exercise training plan(s) and dietary/nutrition plan(s) tailored to individual circumstances, needs, and wants in mind, as well as current and future factors like schedule restrictions, equipment and facilities availabilities, and instances of being (temporarily) unable to follow one’s regularly planned/scheduled nutrition and physical training plans like during travel. Their weekly community “immersion calls” with other clients further foster accountability as they usually include information sessions about topics that affect fitness goals like lifestyle habits, nutrition, different types of physical training, etc. Whilst I would still consider myself quite novice in terms of physical exercise and fitness, David and Parker have helped me become more able to claim some proficiency in regard to physical exercises and physical fitness through the processes of figuring out and working on the concrete and more detailed steps about how to achieve (my) fitness goals. They have enabled me to have a stronger foundation for overall fitness, even if I arguably was decent with my nutrition and diet before my participation, but less so with physical exercise movements, techniques, and workouts. They also can be very accomodating, flexible, and understanding if you have certain life difficulties and obstacles that might affect your ability to fully work on your fitness goals like finances as ended up happening during the time of my participation that I refer to in this review. For instance, I was able to arrange a live video call with Parker during one physical training session to check on the forms of techniques of some exercises/movements, even though this usually is handled by sending/uploading video recordings of yourself doing those exercises/movements and referring to the explanations and videos of those exercises/movements for checking accuracy. I am not able to speak to how the experience(s) with this kind of service might be for those who already are fairly physically active from doing things like regularly playing sports in a casual or professional manner, but I can attest that David Wang Fitness is worthwhile checking out for anyone who might be more of an amateur or a newcomer to (physical) fitness with any fitness goals that they could use some guidance and structure to form the processes and systems for achieving those goals.

Great virtual training (nutrition + strength)

Working with David Wang fitness helped me accomplish my goals in just 16 weeks. Before, I was lifting a lot but confused why I was still gaining weight and not happy with how I looked. I worked with Parker and he was very attentive to my goals. In the end I lost nearly 20 lbs while setting PRs in the gym (+15 lbs on my back squat). Parker did a great job adjusting the workouts based on my goals (lower body strength focused) and additionally modified things when I was traveling. He gave me a ton of knowledge especially on nutrition. I now feel like I'm in control of my calories, macros, etc. and have the tools to maintain, lose, or gain weight based on my future goals. Parker was also incredibly responsive, answering all my questions within minutes via text. Highly recommend

Amazing experience working with David and Parker

I reached out to David and Parker at the start of the year 2025. I was feeling lethargic and bloated, especially around my waistline. David and Parker helped get me on the right track with regards to nutrition and establishing a good routine that I was able to stick to. They know their stuff and are easily reachable for quick questions be it about macro meal planning or workout tips. I've experienced good results even in the short time I've worked with them and highly recommend them to whoever feels like they are stuck in a rut and can't shake out of it.

Everyone’s fitness journey is…

Everyone’s fitness journey is different, so take this review with a grain of salt — I’m just sharing what worked for me.

Before starting the David Wang Fitness program, I had already done 1–2 years of personal training. But before that, I was doing mostly HIIT cardio stuff — like OrangeTheory and Barry’s. While those workouts are fun and intense, they never really moved the needle when it came to body fat. It wasn’t until I started lifting weights with a personal trainer that I saw real changes — I lost over 12% body fat in about 8 months.

The issue was, I moved to a new city and couldn’t continue with my trainer. I tried working out on my own, but I wasn’t seeing results — in fact, I was gaining body fat again. I knew I didn’t want to depend on a trainer forever, but I also needed a solid workout plan to follow and some structure to stay consistent.

That’s what made me interested in the David Wang program.

For context, I’m an MD and had previously done a nutrition program where a dietitian went through my eating habits in detail. I also use a meal plan from CookUnity (fresh meals made by local chefs, no preservatives), and I’ve tried Factor too. In general, my diet is clean — no fried foods, no soda, no alcohol, no sweets. I mostly eat grilled or baked chicken with veggies, and I avoid red meat.

What I liked about this program is that it’s not just about being told what to do — it’s about building discipline. You have a coach checking in weekly, but you’re responsible for tracking your own progress. You log your weigh-ins, body measurements, workouts, meals, and progress photos in the app. It sounds like a lot at first, but eventually it becomes second nature.

I started in December 2024 at 192 lbs. As of today, April 4, 2025, I’m 182.8 lbs. But honestly, the weight isn’t the big win here — it’s the change in body fat. I went from 30%+ BF to 19% (according to an electronic scale — probably not totally accurate, but the trend is what matters). And while I don’t know my actual body fat %, I can say this for sure: I look way better in the mirror than I did 4 months ago. Clothes fit better, and the difference is obvious even without a scale.

One of the biggest takeaways for me was learning to adapt, especially while traveling. I travel a lot, and I used to use that as an excuse to skip workouts. But this time, even on vacation, I made it a point to find a gym or do something active almost every day. It’s become automatic — I don’t decide whether or not to work out based on how I feel. I just do it. It’s part of my routine now.

Now, full transparency — the program isn’t cheap. In fact, it might be more expensive than having a personal trainer who works with you in person (which I recommend initially if you have no prior education on proper form of lifting weights). But it’s also more holistic. It covers workouts, nutrition, stress management, and general lifestyle habits. Also, don't signup as soon as the first call with David. Think about it first and get your finances sorted because there's no backing out once you do. So if you’ve got a solid job, want real results, and need guidance to get there, I think this program is worth it.

And I have to give a special shoutout to Parker Miller — he’s the coach who worked with me, and he’s honestly the MVP. Super responsive, honest, and realistic. He’ll tailor your plan to your life, and if he doesn’t have an answer to something, he’ll find it for you. Couldn’t have done this without him.

All in all, I didn’t just lose fat — I gained the tools to keep going on my own, which was the goal from the start. Mission accomplished.

Turning 60

Turning 60, I wanted to be in the best shape possible, and working with David Wang Fitness and Coach Parker Miller has been a game-changer. In just two months, I've lost nearly 10 pounds, gained confidence in weight training, and developed a much better understanding of nutrition. I've even started noticing more muscle definition, especially in my chest. So much so that my neighbors have commented on the difference!
