I went to my first speed dating event a few days ago and had a lovely time. The venue was cool, it was well organised, and I met a lot of fun people, both the men and women. Rob has also been super helpful and responsive to my enquiries. I'm sure I'll be attending another event soon!

Really fun, relaxed, well organised events. Always held at good venues and is a far more natural way of meeting people. Takes away the pain of the modern app. Also Rob and his team look after you so well to ensure you have a great experience

The worst. Don’t go!! Communication is terrible.
You unfortunately live in a different multiverse. It’s all about the cash grab and a high turnover of dissatisfied customers.

I had a great time at a speed dating event, it was well organised and explained how the speed dating will work.

The Pros:
- Lots of events (some very unusual events e.g. hunger game themed, boat party)
- Generally lots of people at the events
- Discounts can be had at random times, they're generally cheaper than the competition and some free events pop up every now and then
The Cons:
- Sometimes the host is non existent (Madisons)
- Some questionable locations, e.g. Nordic bar where there is literal porn all over the toilets.
- Haven't been to an event where there wasn't more men than women, but that is true with any dating event
The "Meh" Success rate
Your mileage will DEFINITELY vary, but as a self described "Funny but Ugly Male", I have 1 supposed match and 0 messages (so might as well be 0 matches) after attending 9 events. Grand total of 0% :D
Keep your expectations low, think of it as a night out and you should cope when you cry yourself to sleep that night.
Suggestions:
- Name tags at any event will make it much better, saves time since you only have the 4mins at speed dating and a great ice breaker at single parties.

Event was well organised …Good platform to meet many people and with the given amount of time good to chat and try to understand about others… Would definitely recommend to others…

DateInADash hosts so many events in London and pretty much daily giving the best opportunity to connect with new likeminded people struggling to meet a partner.
Events I’ve been to has always had over 100 people.
I’ve met some awesome people made good friends, but the search goes on 😊
The organising and acquiring Venues are moderate to high end and isn’t reflected in the ticket price.
Host Rob always sends emails if there is an issue such as a cancellation or change of venue.
He is always polite, smiling and professional.
Only criticism people have to the events is there are no icebreakers & usually more men attend than women but that’s across all dating platforms.
I would recommend going to a few different events to scope the vibe esp. the rooftop events!
& when there is a price drop in the tickets to maximise enjoyment.

Firstly, upon walking in, I noticed there was no way to distinguish between the public who were already there and those who were single. No way to tell who was who even though there was supposed to be about 50 of us who had paid to attend the event.
Secondly, upon arrival there was a table (big enough for 10 people max) - I asked if the event was held here as I thought I had the wrong venue. I was told yes, and that I was the first one even though the email said I would have to be there 15-30 minutes early otherwise may be refused entry.
There was no one until close to 8pm. Furthermore, no one checked my ID or ticket. And I’m am certain a large potion of the people who sat down were not single either.
There was no structure, I could have walked in for free and joined myself, and the ticket prices were fluctuation every 5 minutes.
This was one of the worst events I’ve been to and in fact I left in a worse mood than I came there in.
Furthermore, I emailed the organiser to relay all of this information, and he somehow tried to gaslight me into saying that 1) I wasn't told to come early (even though I had the screenshot to prove it) 2) Claimed that we couldn't have just walked in and joined for free after paying for a ticket, even though I spoke to about 7 people and not one of their tickets was checked.
A bridal party at one point appeared amongst us. Aside from them there was no way to tell who was single and who wasn't.
0/10 asked for a refund and was offered a free ticket to their next event which you couldn't pay me to go to

What a fantastic, relaxing and supportive dating experience! As a queer woman, navigating dating isn't always an easy or safe experience. Dateinadash however was a brilliant opportunity to meet other queer women in a fun and safe way and I would massively recommend it. The location was also extremely nice! To add, Rob was extremely responsive to a query I had. Would definitely go again!

AVOID THIS EVENT AT ALL COST.
Before I go into detail about how terribly awful this event was, please expect an aggressive, dismissive and rude response from the owner of the company Robbing Rob.
A friend and I had booked 2X tickets for speed dating. The venue and time of event changed very last minute.
We specifically booked an event age range 27-39. Robbing Rob completely deceived us with this and we ended up having people in their very early 20’s.
Nathan, the host wasn’t much better. Very unapproachable, rude and unorganised.
The ratio to women to men was very unbalanced, leaving the men waiting for 45 minutes for their rotation. This was nicknamed the (graveyard). The process of liking any of the matches is online, but we were unable to access this because Robbing Rob did not put us on the system. What did we actually pay for?
I emailed Robbing Rob after this event giving him feedback and asking for a solution. He was very antagonistic with his response and very unprofessional, leaving me no choice but to express my review online. Will never return and I advise you be cautious of this event.

I participated in the Squid Game speed dating event. Even though the event was fun and okay in general, I won a competition that was a part of this event where the prize was £100 and I was supposed to win a cash prize. I was told that it’s actually not cash but it will be sent to my bank account. I was okay with this but the money never arrived in my bank account. I tried to contact them multiple times but never heard back. I am very disappointed in this because the event itself was actually nice. I would really like my money that I’ve been told I was getting.

Prompt, well-organised and Rob was helpful afterwards with the website when I was having trouble.

DateInaDash group do an excellent job gathering singles to superb locations in London, easily accessible by Tube. Friendly vibe and the lock & key ice-breaker is an amazing/fun way to connect with people. The host gave the guys, keys and the girls locks. Each key can open upto 10 locks. You go round trying to pick locks and if there is a match then you get entered into a raffle to win some drinks or something. You can then carry on talking to the match or see if you can open more locks and get more connections and more chance to win prizes. Also ideally if you like someone you can ask for their details or if you are shy then you can post a like on the web page dateinadash.com for the event attended and if its a like from the other half then i guess you get each others details via the site.
Rob does a great job in keeping these events going throughout the year.
People at the event do say the host should do more to introduce shy people, but not sure what else they can do.

The venue was good, had a nice ambiance and the layout worked for what the event was. It was evident pretty quickly that you had to have your Q & A’s sorted, and the time with each participant was ample. Knowing it was with people in a similar situation socially/romantically made ice breaking much easier. Would I go again, definitely…

The event I booked was cancelled literally hours before start. Disappointing but these things happen, I asked for a refund and was told as per their contract I had to re-book another event. As a single parent, I do not have lots of free time but ok, I booked via emailing (giving people a credit they can use on website would be so much more efficient for customer!) another event. Again, this was also cancelled, this time due to train strikes. So, I tried again, and was told this third event wasn't going ahead, even though it continued to be listed on their website days after I was told this, it sold out for females. I have again asked for a refund, it is a small amount to a company, but it is refused, telling me to attempt another re-booking. I think in this instance just offer a refund say if numerous events are cancelled at short notice, in a goodwill gesture. So, be mindful events can get cancelled at short notice, especially relevant if your time off is rare and refunds will not be given.

I had a great night, there was a good number of men and women and the bar was cool too! Great fun and I’d recommend to anybody!

Centrally located venue with DJ and lively bar upstairs. The event was run downstairs and was well-run by the host with clear explanation of how the night would run.
It may have been good to have had a refreshment/toilet break halfway through and for the downstairs bar to have been open at least an hour afterwards to allow for further socialising but overall it was an enjoyable evening with a good mix of people. No matches so will try again
