THEY SAY THERE THE BEST! BECAUSE THEY ARE!!

I had a problem with my 2TB seagate drive , being a music producer , this was a disaster for me!i thought all my data was gone and that 21 years of my hard work had dissapeared. So i researched data clinic and must say i was quite skeptical after reading some of the reviews on here. BUT BOY WAS I WRONG!! Michelle you are an Angel in disguise , customer service 10/10 , my drive was sorted quicker than i could flip a pancake and all not most but ALL of my data was recovered , Stephen you are next to God when it comes to dealing with customers who are worried , Stephen reassured me that all was going to be fine, and had my data sent back to me the next day. i dont know what happened with the other reviews on trust pilot about data clinic? But in my experience with this company , i will be recommending them to everyone i know that needs them , what an amazing company , Michelle and Stephen , you are both a perfect example of what professional customer service should be like, Thank you so much and to all at data clinic ...... Prices Fair and just .... this is a real review ....

Highly Recommended

Highly recommended company. I lost almost all my data one night for some bizarre reason. I came across Data Clinic via Google search. They will explain to you the process, telling you how it works. They’re very patient with me and make sure that I understand everything. They will continue to work to get all my data back. After the first process, they managed to get most of the data and I managed to convince them to do the second process to rescue even more data. I’m glad that I have chosen Data Clinic. I managed to get almost all my files back, 99.2% back, including my important files for work and other enquiries. Even gave me important advice afterwards to avoid any more disappointment.
They’re respectful people and a legitimate company. Michelle even checked on my latest update on my data progress to see everything is fine for me. They do care. Thanks, Data Clinic

A huge thank you to Michelle and the team at Data Clinic - they recovered my data effectively and efficiently! Stupidly, I hadn’t backed up my external hard drive for a LONG time and then it failed. I’m a VERY busy teacher and I feared I had lost at least a year’s worth of work … But, within a few days, my data was fully recovered. Phew! I was kept fully informed at every stage of the process and given the option to proceed or not. This service is DEFINITELY NOT A SCAM I highly recommend this service. Many thanks!

Wasted months and £90 of my money to…

Wasted months and £90 of my money to tell me they can't do it. Pathetic company that can't do the one job I paid them to do. DO NOT respond to this with the same canned response. I DON'T want to email you and speak to you about it. I wanted you to recover my data and you couldn't. All you did was waste my time and money. Your company is a joke. EDIT: I cannot BELIEVE you had the audacity to reply with that. I sent the device to curry's pc world who don't go into data recovery past the superficial level and you know that! (they also don't charge you if they can't recover it). This reply shows you take no responsibility for your actions. You led me on for weeks and wasted my time acting as if you could fix the issue knowing full well you couldn't!! Don't give me that crap about no recovery no fee either you were paid £90 for absolutely nothing. Other companies don't charge diagnosis fees. Let's call a spade a spade, you guys are scammers. You can give me back the £90 but not the weeks of my time you wasted. UPDATE: It's been 2 weeks and I still don't have the machine back. I called them up and the guy on the phone said they had been "assembling" the machine. For 2 weeks? Yeah right. You just put it to the back of the pile of things to do because you knew you weren't getting any more money from it. UPDATE 2: This is beyond ridiculous now. So, I get home Friday the 19th and what do I see on my doorstep? 12 empty boxes! Data Clinic sent me 12 empty boxes instead of my laptop!! So I phone them up... press 2 for existing customer and it just rings out. Then, I phone up again this time checking 1 for new customer and surprise surprise someone picks up (they just want your money). The person on the other end asks my name. So, I tell him "FIRST NAME" "LAST NAME". To which he snarkily replies "ohh FIRST NAME "trust pilot" LAST NAME". From here he begins to talk down to me in a snyde tone before putting the phone down. So, I called again and this time he puts the phone on to a woman. At first, she called me a liar but quickly changed her tune as she realised she was wrong. She then told me that I would be receiving my machine the next day. It's now three days later and I still have no machine and just 12 empty boxes. Please, please, please STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Hi James, your review is malicious and your manner throughout this process has been surly and unpleasant. You paid a £90 Diagnosis Fee on your SSD. We completed the Diagnosis and you proceeded to the recovery stage on a No Data - No Fee basis. Our technicians are skilled and experienced, but your data was unrecoverable. You had previously sent it to other companies who concluded the same, but, we still spent hours trying to access and recover your data for you – without any further cost to you. I get that you are stressed, but the contents of your review are untrue and unfair.

Failed 4TB SeaGate Expansion HD

Problem:- Failed 4TB SeaGate Expansion External HD on my MacBook Pro 16” M1 Max.
Would NOT mount on any of my 3 x MBP’s

On doing some research, and after speaking to Chris I Opted for the DataClinic.

Sending the drive over for analysis found that the heads where gone on the drive and new ones had to be ordered, replaced, and then the data recovered.

Firstly i’d like to say I was (as some have said) quoted one price then the add on for parts & data recovery, BUT if you care to READ the small print they DO STATE THIS! - The initial price does NOT include parts etc.

Yes I’m very happy with dataclinic.co.uk, they did what they said. I talked to a few other companies and their prices are about the same for FULL data recovery, from start to finish.

First class service, very quick, and helpful throughout the process.

To anyone who is having second thought’s, don’t, these guys know what they are doing!

I’ve got all my data back now, nothing lost, and very happy :-)

Just remember folks if you don’t want to have problems like this, BACKUP, BACKUP & BACKUP!
(Yes I’m keeping 3 copies of each drive, 2B Sure, 2B Sure, Too Be Sure! ;-)

These guys are Magic.

My Samsung phone was stuck on a boot loop, even Samsung couldn't fix it. I needed the photos, stupid me never back them up, I thought all was lost.
Step in Data clinic, friendly customer service, they gave me hope, they took the phone. I kept my fingers and toes crossed. They kept in touch and boom, they got my photos.
Yes they are expensive, specialists after all but the photos were priceless to me, so worth every penny. I will always recommend them to anyone, may even send them a Christmas card.

My son dropped his I-Phone in the sea when on the beach and thought all his African safari photos/memories were lost...we did not have high hopes of a recovery, but we have just received the memory stick back from Data Clinic and they have managed to recover all those precious photos/videos and ALL the data stored on the phone...what a result! During the process the staff kept me updated on progress and arranged collection and delivery of the device over a few days. I have no hesitation in recommending the services of Data Clinic to others with a similartly water damaged phone.

3 years of photos saved: there is hope for Error 14/1110 iPhone boot loop! Do not lose hope!

3 years of my lifes' work and photos saved because of the amazing professionals at this company. My iPhone XS Max got stuck in a "boot loop" with a nearly full 512GB of storage. Most of the internet said there was no hope for this Error 14/1110: but Michelle, Elliot, and the team at Data Clinic said otherwise. Amazing friendly personable customer coordination from Michelle including arrangement of emergency service for which I flew into Manchester to the main lab. Elliot was patient, capable, and helped get the job DONE! I now have my phone not only backed up to an SSD for the data itself, but my phone is working as it was, and has updated software to the newest iOS. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the capable professionals who I was able to trust here at Data Clinic. I truly believe this is the best tech service I have ever experienced. Worth every penny and grateful for the invaluable benefit of my memories being restored. THANK YOU! Brian from USA based in Turkey

Previously had issues but resolved very quickly.

You may have seen my previous negative review, but it was based on my experience...THAT HAS CHANGED NOW.
I'm now very happy with Data clinic that their customer relationship personnel sorted my issue out very quickly and efficiently, by understanding my query and the requirement and I was also assured that they've taken my query/complaint seriously and for their continuous improvement in customer service / logistics side.

The issue was about recovery of lost data as well as hard drives being corrupted/fault. This was resolved and I now have my lost data and have also been compensated for the error made by their logistics team.
Their technical team knows what they’re doing and very good at it.

Not good

Only use this company if you are prepared to feel ripped off. I sent my water damaged phone in after a reassuring conversation. After £180 just to "run diagnostics" i was asked to commit to another £270 to try to get data off with no success guaranteed. Result. No data and the horrible ripped off feeling. Good sales pitch. Disappointing outcome.

Do not use them, they might mess up your equipment or lose them.

Thanks Data Clinic for not providing my hard drives back to me in the state I sent you...you may respond to this review saying you did your best but I'm left without a "completely fine working" hard drives which was the case before sending them to you for assessment.
Data recovery - Data Clinic diagnosed and did assessment for faulty drive rather than what I asked them for - Recovery of deleted data.
Numerous attempts to get my hard drives back in the original state but I got them back without casing because they lost my casing.
Earlier this year, I received a new casing but guess what? My drives don't work. as per the manufacturer, the fault could be - one or both drives corrupted or one of them is incorrect or an issue with the casing (as per the manufacturer).
After all this, I'm the one who lost the data which was already there, accessible, before I gave them the drive.
Guess the answer after a lengthy email to them? Sorry we're not an IT company therefore, cannot provide support. I'm only asking for support to fix the problem that Data Clinic created/caused.

Complete scam

Complete scam. They gave us a quote, opened the drive, added £300 to the £500 quote. When we wanted it back, they said no other company will touch it. They returned it without closing it properly on purpose. Shocking and sad.

Hello Parvati,

What is really ‘shocking and sad’ is when customers give a dishonest review. Before we examined the drive, we provided you with a written quote that clearly states that the cost for HDD data recovery is either £245 + VAT or £395 + VAT depending on the fault. It also clearly states that if there is a mechanical fault - then we might need spare parts. Your drive has a mechanical fault; and in order to diagnose the fault fully and provide you with the exact costs - we had to open the drive in our clean room. The parts required by your drive are £195 (https://www.donordrives.com/st2000lm007-wdz-wu-pn-1r8174-568-fw-sbk2-seagate-2tb-sata-2-5-hard-drive.html). This is, unfortunately, expensive for parts - but that is because of the model of drive that you have and the difficulty with obtaining a donor match. You can see that we aren’t making any money from the parts.
Your review also quotes me as saying that once a drive has been opened that ‘no other company would touch it’ -that’s not true either - I told you that companies often charge a diagnosis fee when drives have been opened - as already communicated to you - in the quotation (see below).

‘Provided the metal lid of the hard drive hasn't been opened, we will diagnose the issue free of charge. If the casing has been opened, then the Diagnosis Fee is £95 + VAT. Once the diagnosis is complete, we will send you an email with the total cost for your recovery. Our prices for hard drive data recovery are £245 +VAT for deleted data, file system, logical or a simple electrical fault, and £395 +VAT for a mechanical fault, like bad sectors, Firmware and parts internally failing. If it is a mechanical fault, we may need spare parts. We will also need to put your recovered data onto a new hard drive, which we can supply, or you can send in a spare. If we can't recover your data, then you don't pay for the data recovery process. Please reply to this email, if you would like me to arrange a collection.’

At Data Clinic Ltd, we do our best to provide a reliable, efficient and fair service. We are completely upfront about the costs involved and give our customers as much information about our processes as possible. Your review is completely dishonest and innacurate.

Great service and communication…

Great service and communication throughout the process. Not cheap but the only way I was going to recover photos from my old Samsung S6 phone once the battery had ‘fried’ and I had no other back up. Lesson learned always back up regularly - to the Could but better still to a PC / laptop or linked hard drive.

Superb service

My external hard drive containing an archive of family movies and photos crashed and the contents could no longer be accessed. I contacted DataClinic through the website on a Sunday and was called back immediately. After analysing the issue I was given very clear instructions, backed up by an email, of how to proceed and the potential costs involved.
I was kept informed every step of the way, and within about a week was sent a list of the files recovered for me to check before payment.
After payment, the old drive along with a new one containing the recovered files arrived the following day by courier.
Yes, it costs money, but you are paying for expertise - and the value to you of the contents.
I cannot rate the service highly enough.
