100% Authentic!! I shopped from Darveys recently for the first time and it’s safe to say that it’s now my go to place for all my shopping needs! extremely bad experience
I have had a very bad experience with Darveys website. Let me tell you the details.
1. I bought items worth around Rs. 25000. First the payment gets deducted and gets credited to Darveys and they still show payment mode as COD. To clarify, i immediately called them up, but guess what noone returns your call, answers your call or mails or messages!!
2. Second, no order confirmation mail will be sent to you keeping you in full suspense. I called them up the next day and after great difficulty got hold of an executive who promised "immediate confirmation mail". Its been 4 days and I am stil lwaiting for order confirmation mail!!
3. After such a ridiculous treatment of customers, I requested or may I say I begged the executive t cancel my order. I had to spend 45 minutes of my time explaining to two people in rotation why I should not cancel. For the first time, I am facing an interrogation from an online shopping website as to why I should choose their items. It was literal harassment.
4. The site clearly promises 2 times refund of amount of the product if lesser priced item available in any other site. I pointed out to them that in Amazon I found a lesser priced same item. Reply from the executive was we do not consider Amazon as our competition, only start ups are considered!!!!
5. After 4 days of effort and relentless persuasion, they refunded my amount of one item, but refused to refund for the other stating they do not want to lose me as a customer!
6. While refunding, the executive asked for my account details over email. She stated that the company does not store account details of any customer. i found this very suspicious and reverted that as it was a prepaid order, all they need to do is to reverse the entry, why my account details are needed?
If you want to avoid hassles, please look out for much better websites than Darveys and dont subject yourself to harassment. I am putting my remarks on a website for the first time ever on the internet just because of the difficulty faced with Darveys and I do not want anyone else to fall for it.
