Thanks to Seb for our Star gazing experience in the Lincolnshire Wolds. An incredible and breathtaking experience viewing stars, galaxies, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus and the moon!! Even shooting stars throughout the two hours. Seb was so informative and so passionate, it was a surreal and beautiful experience. Thank you so much for always being on hand to answer any questions throughout the booking process through to the experience itself. Brilliant two-hour private stargazing session for four of us in the Surrey Hills with Nick. Entertaining, highly informative, some real 'wow' moments.
Great communication from Seb - the whole experience was seamless from start to finish.

Superb 2 hrs spent with Nick educating us about all things stars and planets. Very knowledgeable guide - the 2 hrs absolutely flew by.
We had several attempts over 18mths to undertake our experience - each time the British weather did not play ball. However Seb kept us informed several days beforehand before the final go/no go decision on the day. Although the postponements were frustrating, it was clear that Seb wanted to ensure we had the best possible experience - and for that we were really grateful.
Finally - you get so much more out of the evening if you have a private session - so much more telescope time, so we would definitely recommend this over a group session

We were given a wonderful tour by Nick who is obiously a very knowledgable astronomer. We were taught how to identify and find stars and were able to view them through the telescope, using a variety of lenses, we saw the storm bands on Jupiter, and the rings of Saturn. During the two hours, we saw diferant types of stars, another galaxy, planets, clusters, binary stars and so much more. Nick helped make the evening informative and really good fun. The hole family loved the experience. Because it needs to be a very clear sky it took some months to happen because we had to cancil on more than one ocacion due to wheather issues but it's well worth the wait. I would highly recommend this experience to any budding star gazer. Thank you Dark Sky for a wonderful night.

I’m very disappointed as I booked a hotel to come to Cannock Chase for this experience and the owner cancelled last minute over email (even though sky was suppoused to be clear and it was the night of the Supermoon). Since he cancelled last minute it was too late to cancel my hotel and get the refund. Then he went radio silence and didn’t respond to the emails.

Seb was extremely knowledgeable and made our Darksky session very enjoyable, the conditions were a little hazy and a full moon exaggerated this, but we were amazed at wha Seb was able to show us, from a ring nebula, Andromeda, clusters, Saturn and off course, our moon in stunning detail. An absolute success, very worthwhile and much recommended.

Myself and my partner booked the 2 hour course at the New Forest. Nick was our guide, and explained many different stars, clusters and patterns in the sky. The night was ended with a viewing of Saturn and The Moon.

Me & my partner we left astounded by what we had seen and could not recommend this more. It can be chilly so bring a jumper.

We booked a 2 hour session where Nick, a very knowledgeable astronomer came to our garden with a telescope. The experience was easy to book with three dates booked at a time in the hope for good weather. When the weather was bad, it was easy to book again. Communication was very superb throughout. Nick was very engaging and pitched everything at a level we could understand. We learnt so much about the stars, saw the Andromeda Galaxy, Star Clusters, a dead star and so much more. It really was a fun evening and I would recommend this to anyone with an interest in the skies.

This was a fantastic tour of the night sky by a very knowledgable astronomer. Our astronomer Nick brought a telescope to our garden. As novices, we found everything easy to follow and understand. We were taught how to identify and find stars in the night sky, and were able to view them through the telescope, using a variety of lenses for different amounts of detail. For example, we saw the storm bands on Jupiter, and the rings of Saturn. During the two hours, we saw another galaxy that is close to our own Milky Way, a dead star, planets, clusters, binary stars and so much more. Nick was enthusiastic, and generous with imparting details and information on the stars, which made the evening really good fun. We were able to choose an evening to suit us, and the company are very conscious of weather restrictions, and make it easy to change the booking date, so that you get the best from your experience. We happened to choose a very clear sky which made the experience all the better. I would highly recommend this experience to any budding star gazer, as the guides are professional and experienced, but make it easy to understand.
