Do not buy from Daraz we had the worst experience so far as thry not taking responsibility

Do not buy from Daraz. We bought a tv a month ago, it was blurry, when notified they just came up with excuses, this was purchased for my mother who is over 80. She didnt know what to do. Thenn in just after a month display gone blank. When notified Daraz they said its not their item its private seller Electronic traders we should have read the agreement before purchasing, etc. Customer service agen we dealt with was Sumedha Fernando. We cant find any contact details, business address or contact number of the seller in Daraz website. If a product is sold by Daraz how could they say we should deal with the seller without sharing the sellers details? The other issue is they delivered the item to residence but when its faulty we are being told to deliver the item all the way to Tania & Tamara at Narahenpita.
Is there any law in Sri Lanka? Can someone please help us to get a refund please?
My mother is unable to get this repair issues sort out even if we allow them to return a new tv for the damaged item. Best is for her to receive the money to buy a tv from a local shop.
Its our fault for trusting online shop like Daraz who is not capable of resolving the issue immediately.
We dont want anyone to fall on to tgis trap in future. We are trying to give the best to our parents but now we are in a limbo without knowing who got our money, wgo is the seller (Daraz says its a thirdparty named Electronic traders) how we can receive a refund. As far as we know that we paid to Daraz not to any third party dealers.
Appreciate someone who is in consumer authority look in to this matter with dealing with online sellers. Thank you

I am extremely frustrated with my…

I am extremely frustrated with my recent purchase of a trimmer from your company. Unfortunately, the product I received was defective, rendering my purchase completely useless. This was my first transaction with your company, and it has been a highly disappointing experience. I strongly advise against making online purchases from your site and urge my friends to refrain from buying from you.

POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS.

PURCHASED THE MOST INFERIOR YOGA MAT AT A VERY HIGH PRICE WHICH IS TOTALLY USELESS AND LIKE A SHEET OF PAPER. THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT AND DO NOT SHOW THE TRUE ICTURES OF THE MAT. IN RECEIPT THE MATERIAL IS VERY INFERIOR AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
IF I COULD HAVE GIVEN DARAZ -0 WOULD HAVE DONE SO.
PLEASE REFUND MY FULL TOTAL FOR THE PRODUCT.

I’ve been customer with nearly year I…

I’ve been customer with nearly year I have today absolutely pathetic service ever. Every time I try to Oder something most of the time take the Oder and after one hour later cancel the Oder and refund the money but charges apply. Customer service awful . I’ll never ever use again this website. Not trust at all .

sells defective items and lies

sells defective items, once returned the item they dont give you a refund, 2 weeks have lapsed and they are not responding, pathetic service, don't fall for their offers, it is filled fake items and it's a hub for scammers.

sells themselves sell fake defective items, and daraz facilitates them. dont be fooled by their adverts. terrible experience, i ordered a air frier which was defective and had to return it, still didn't received a refund, always acting like it been investigated. what bunch of bull. stingy website and worthless customer care unit who clueless and pretend that they are looking into it.

buy if you only want cheap crap that breaks. con artists at best, i will tell this to everyone, avoid daraz at all cost

Do not purchase anything from Daraz

Really bad customer service. I order one rice cooker but send me lamp I trying to return the item but they cancel return. Do you not refund at all. This kind of business must be not exist, nor any Truss .

That is the most terrible customer…

That is the most terrible customer service I have ever experienced. When I ordered a mobile phone as a gift for a student in Sri Lanka they sent me a mail and said that my order had been canceled.

They never replied to my queries and I waited for three to four days. They didn't even either withdraw money. Then I tried another seller and ordered another phone as it needs to go as present soon.
A few days later these guys handed over two mobile phones and charged me for two. I tried to contact these guys and couldn't reach them through email. One of my friends in Sri Lanka contacted them and explained the problem.

However, they rejected my return request saying that the receiver in Sri Lanka had accepted both and had no valuable reason to return a phone.

I do not recommend Darz Sri Lanka for online shopping as they are very primitive in the sense of customer service. They do not have an effective system. Don't waste your money try another way.

Worst customer service in my entire…

Worst customer service in my entire life i have received. When I ordered a item by mistake I selected the delivery address as a billing address and billing address as delivery address. I have noticed it much later. Unfortunately the couldn’t cancel the order and I contacted the seller didn’t get any reply and contacted the daraz customer service they said they can’t help. Finally i have asked them to at least ring to the phone number in the billing address but answer is same “NO”. Worst customer service. I know countries as like as Sri lanka they don’t care about the customer or what is the reviews they are getting at online. Just need the money. That’s all.

Daraz is scamming people

I do NOT recommend Daraz at all. I ordered a keyboard which cost me Rs. 13,880 and guess what, the keyboard is not working so I immediately request a refund, it's been almost a month now, they're not picking up the keyboard, thus I won't get my refund at all. I called Daraz customer care and they do not care, they just play along. It is a scam, you cannot return if you got a defective item. So disappointed.

Garabage shady eBay imitators

One word - Garbage
When a product is defective out of the box and is under the return window and request is arbitrarily denied twice it’s pathetic. Be careful when spending your money this is a one way street . Other than customer service parroting out sorry for the inconvenience you will get nowhere . Will not be purchasing from Daraz in future and would advice significant caution to others. They offer a eBay like service but customer protection is crap and shoddy

Don't trust Daraz
Don't trust Daraz and stores (like Brilliant Store) that sell products on Daraz, according to my and my friends' experiences. They are scammers. Their customer service and the quality of the products they sell are not good. They sell very cheap products for a high price. They didn't claim the warranty as they said. I bought a pendrive from Daraz, and it was broken after a few months. They said the pendrive has a 5-year warranty. So I tried to claim warranty in every way they said. It almost took more than one year, but still they didn't claim the warranty and didn't respond to me. Each and every time they send me a new one. Maybe that's a business strategy for them to scam people. Not only me but also some of my friends also faced this problem from Daraz. From my point of view don't buy electronic items from daraz. I have all the evidences with me.

Do not trust this company

Do not trust this company. I bought a gift card that is a simple digital asset that they assured will be delivered to email within 24 hours. It’s been days and it is still not here. The support keeps dragging things and making fake promises. It is not refundable either. DO NOT BUY gift cards from these people. It’s not just me. Look at reviews and you will see many people have also complained.

Daraz used to be good

Daraz used to be good. But nowadays probably due to high number of sellers who act as scammers. Don't get me wrong though there are a few legit sellers there as well. But most of them are actually some what of scammers. False product information, damaged goods are some of main problems of these kind. Also you can buy these stuff much cheaper if you just go out there and look for it. The main reason of going for online shopping should be - the price of product should be equal to the one at shop as well. But at Daraz it is much expensive than the actual item at stores. And we also pay for for the delivery charges. So simply why use Daraz?

I refuse to use Daraz ever again and i…

I refuse to use Daraz ever again and i hope others will do the same. Be it known that Daraz belongs to Alibaba, by the way. I ordered a vacuum packer machine, when i got to the checkout the product had a different description so i cancelled the product and went back to the item page and reordered the correct product. When Daraz delivered they delivered two of the same items, priced differently (!) My employees accepted two packages so in fact Daraz sent me two items and not one. I unpacked the product and plugged it into the power socket, within seconds the device started to smoke and then burnt out. I complained to Daraz by email, several times because i could never get to speak to anyone over the phone. Daraz have never taken any steps to replace or even to reimburse me. A terrible company, cheats and crooks, all they want is your money but they offer no service when the product is faulty. Don't use them, i certainly wont and none of my family are allowed to anymore!
