Damp proof system was installed, I can see a massive improvement since other businesses did not seem to work for us with their damp proofing system. Everyone at Schrijver's who I dealt with were efficient, helpful and informative. Workman was really tidy and hardworking. Highly recommended.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT !!!!

Had this product done 10 years ago and it’s going perfectly. No fuss all done on outside of property nice and quick. It dried out the wall and still works on the rising damp.

Not sure about all these negative complaints I think people are just nasty and malicious and don’t realise you have to also clear the way for the product to work. You can’t have bushes nearby or anything that will block the product. Such nasty reviews about a small business.

THIS PRODUCT IS SUCCESSFUL AND IT WORKS !!!!!! well worth the £4k that I spent to have it done and they even allowed monthly payments over 3 months.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY IT DOESN'T WORK. We had our damp proofing done at the time of Covid. I sit and watch the damp rising above the lower 3-foot damp waterproof plastering. I've tried to ring them and I have had the location recording and emailing just pings back. I've been in contact with Trading Standers and they have said I am entitled to get my money back. Thank you for letting us know your findings Jo, where and what do we do from here. I'm sure I will not be able to afford to employ another dampproofing company.

I've done some more digging and the Director, Gerardus Bernardus Franciscus Maria SCHRIJVER, had a few Ltd Companies via Companies House. All of them are now dissolved or in liquidation and he is showing as status 'resigned' from all of them; as are all the other directors. I suspect he ran out of money and went under during Covid OR got sued for flogging a system that doesn't work. He is a Dutch national and the chances of anyone tracking him down or getting their money back is remote to say the least. Not much comfort to those who spent a lot of money. Let's hope he's under a rock somewhere living off tinned beans.

I am trying to contact Frank Schrijver UK Ltd to get the first year visit and my location is blocked. What a shame I thought Frank was a decent man but obviously is not. The damp proof does not work on my property and I feel robbed of £4000.

Regrettably, I too have severe damp problems in a property. The installation was carried out in 2014, and within 2 years the problem returned. I've tried and failed to contact the company the response being that the comapny doesn't accept calls from my location!!

I am chasing the company to honor their lifetime guarantee of damp control in my parents property. My father now deceased paid for the damp proofing in 2016 and my mum now has to live with all the wallpaper peeling off the walls in her front room. She is elderly and becoming upset about this.
I have also tried telephoning the company but my calls too "cannot be accessed from this location" and my e-mails are also pinging back unread although there is statement which reads that" they will be replied to in 14 days" on their website. What to do next?

We had our house damp proofed by Frank Schrijver in 2018, and were told we had a lifetime guarantee.

Fast forward to 2022 and one of the rooms is covered in damp. So we called FS who took 4 weeks to arrange a visit to inspect the room. Then we were told they were compiling a report - another 4 weeks during which the report has never arrived.

Now when we call up we get a message saying they do not accept calls from our location, and emailing any address bounces back saying the mail is not accepted - in other words, we've been blocked.

Really pathetic stuff - avoid like the plague.

We had ours installed in 2019, with a promise of a follow up survey and a full refund if it did not work. Our house is still damp and we have phoned/emailed multiple times for the follow up survey with no outcome, only promises they will be in touch. We spent a lot of money on this for it to not work, do not make the same mistake. Terrible after sales customer service. Do not be fooled by their prompt action when you first enquire about getting it installed.

I live next door to someone who had their walls done. Their workmen did not use water when cutting the walls, as per the video. I have dust all over my property.

I had the damp proof course done 6 years ago and was promised a lifetime guarantee. My wall is damp to the point that its crumbling a bit inside, after speaking to this company I was told I would have to pay for someone to come out and have a look. DO NOT waste your money using this company.

Although as they promised no mess was produced and it was hassle free... they stated that this system wouldn’t completely dry out walls and would not need replastering, unfortunately I now have these unattractive blocks which have done no good and need to folk out more money for another damp specialist to fix this. Waste of money, don’t bother.
