Life threatening and criminal behaviour,with trying to rob Money in Addition to have earned consistantly and been Double paid due to Double employment, for financial threat to my Life, contiously harassing and violating me by postmail, with Help of Zollamt Braunschweig and further violant state offices!!

I called the English line of DAK quite a few times now and often I was attended by a person called Alice.
She has really helped me every single time, with a lot of patience and care, not everyone is like that, so I definitely recomend you to ask for her if you need help with anything.
Very lovely person!!

The worst Krankenkasse I have seen. They don’t give you the medical card before you get the Stay from the Foreign office which you have to stay many months in order to get there damned card. They give a bad experience to me about Germany

Heil- und Kostenplan waiting time
It is just horrifying this waiting time, a living nightmare. I broke a front tooth and because the treatment required a crown, I had to send a Heil- und Kostenplan (HKP). And for my shock, the deadline was TWO WEEKS. I cannot emphasize enough that was a broken front tooth. And you can’t begin the treatment before that. So what option does that leave? The dentist had to glue my tooth. A FRONT TOOTH.
This process of the HKP approval is absurd. At least it should have an emergency case, with a shorter deadline.
I asked to the dentist to book an appointment 2 weeks ahead so that I could start the treatment right after the approval. But DAK was late, so I lost my appointment. And to be even worse, they finally emailed me saying that they already analyzed the HKP, but now the dentist doesn’t have an appointment for another 2 weeks. So in total I’ll have to have waited more than a month with a GLUED FRONT TOOTH. It is just obnoxious.

Very unprofessional stuff! They were making fun of me while trying to speak on german language! So disrespectful!

Since i live in Germany i choose this Health insurance but sadly last week ago the one whom i talked to was very unfriendly and racist .I have only two words that i dont understand and ask maybe he could translate it to English but nope he just answered me ,,Wir sind hier in Deutschland " was... von ein?.. Bin sehr enttäuschend.First time in mylife someone say so with me,most people here i overcome says politely if they dont know it in English.But this man is really impolite.

Only get this insurance company if you have a strong relationship with Jesus. They offered a Fit & Travel bundle that allowed me to travel and be insured while traveling abroad. They forgot to completely activate this insurance with the other company, Hanse Merkur and when I was very ill, I couldn't see a doctor, since the German insurance card wasn't valid. I was supposed to be given an international insurance number and I paid over 200$ calling Germany to ask for this number. I am in this contract now for three years and there is no way I can get out of it and their customer service people do not want to help you, they don't care. Why would I sign an additional contract if the insurance doesn't even work abroad??? Ridiculous, never again with this company DO NOT GET IT

DAK is terrible! I'm a student in Germany and I have health insurance from DAK. I paid insurance for 6 months, I never used their service. But after 4 month they sent me a letter that says I haven't paid for the last 2 months.
1. I called them to clarify and they can't give me any info.
2. I wrote an email one month ago, the only thing they told me was "we will clarify and get back to you." They didn't.
Now they send me another post mail, asking for payment, for another month which I have paid 6 month ago.
DAK doesn't even deserve one star, there should be an option to put one star.

I will never recommend DAK Gesundheit to any International students. They will manipulate you and will not let you end their contract with them at the end of the contract in case of you having financial issues. They are more into the money than your satisfaction.

This is the first time I call an associate and they hang up on me. I asked the lady who took my call if she spoke English and she said ''a little bit'' then I tried to explain her about my situation and she did not let me finish - she hang up. Incredible!

I would love to put 0 star, but it's not possible.
Lack of responsibility among employees, monstrous bureaucracy and failure to fulfill obligations. As result - I can not use an insurance for more than a month already.
