You couldn't make this up!
Please Avoid this business.
I paid for a diagnostic of my bmw coolant loss with this business.
They called me to say they couldn't find any issue but then suddenly said it was the water pump £468.
I authorised the repair with them out of convenience (I added the thermostat at the same time)
The day after the coolant still leaked and at the same rate.
They agreed to look at it again albeit when they could fit me in over a week later.
Afterwards they said 'it could be anything, coolant pressure moves around'.
They listed several components it could be, including the already replaced thermostat. 4 hours labour included in a 2 hour repair and another £478 demanded.
Obviously I knew this was nonsense and something was seriously wrong here but because I was desperate to sort it out I offered to pay half this new demand if they could just fix it properly.
They refused and boasted 'you do know we didn't charge you for this (second) diagnosis'.
Unbelievable! You couldn't make it up!
I'd previously paid for a diagnosis, it didn't fix the problem, then boasted they didn't charge me again to say it could be anything! lol
I had the issue diagnosed professionally with Autotech Lutterworth-who I highly recommend- and they immediately noticed it was the coolant flange which had been leaking for a considerable length of time far predating the water pump 'repair'.
D and K still arragantly dismissed any responsibility, stating 'we are not replying anymore, try suing us'.
Please beware of them and of their star rating on other sites. The owners are part of a network of family and friends and the reviews are highly dubious.
