Ever since I started trading crypto, I've always been worried about losing my funds to a hack. I don't trust many digital wallets because of their security systems. But Cypherock convinced me. They have a decentralized data and key system, a 5-piece hardware package, and 5 different locations to store my crypto. I feel safe.

I bought this wallet out of curiosity. While the seed phrase backup vault is a good idea, the hardware feels outdated: the screen is too small, and entering long passphrases takes forever. Also, there is still no functional Android/iOS app.

Major Red Flags:

Fake Reviews: A large number of their Trustpilot reviews are obviously faked, which is a huge blow to their credibility.

Security Issues: Despite their "world’s most secure" marketing, a Whitehat hacker (Ledger Donjon) demonstrated a successful Side-Channel Attack at a conference in France. Cypherock reportedly refused to pay the Bug Bounty but silently patched the issue later. This lack of transparency is a No-Go in crypto.

Exploitative Business Conduct: Their leadership contacted me on Telegram for consulting. I provided a comprehensive 7-page report with dozens of improvements for their software and strategy. They implemented my suggestions silently, never paid the promised compensation, and stopped responding.

Conclusion: Taking professional expertise for free and ignoring security researchers is a "shabby" way to run a business. I can no longer trust or recommend Cypherock.

While the company's product, a hardware wallet, is designed for security, my interaction with their support team has left my funds anything but secure.A mistaken cryptocurrency transfer of a significant amount has been met with a partial refund and a closed support ticket, leaving a substantial balance in their hands.

It all began with an accidental transfer of 3.12729797 SOL to a Cypherock wallet. At the time of the transaction, this was valued at approximately $675 USD. After months of attempting to get this resolved, the company has only refunded $130, which they stated was the cost of their product minus a "convenience fee."

This response completely misses the point of my repeated inquiries. The issue was never about the price of the product; it was about the mistaken transfer of a much larger sum of cryptocurrency. My attempts to clarify this with their support team, including providing a link to the transaction on the blockchain, have been met with what feels like a complete lack of understanding or willingness to properly address the situation.

The support ticket for this issue was closed without the core problem being solved. My follow-up emails have, so far, not resulted in the ticket being reopened or the remaining funds being returned. This experience has been a stark contrast to the security and peace of mind one would expect from a company in the cryptocurrency hardware wallet space.

While I can't speak to the quality of the Cypherock X1 wallet itself, the customer support experience has been incredibly poor. For a company that deals with the security of digital assets, the inability to handle a straightforward issue of a mistaken transfer is alarming. I am still hoping for an amicable resolution where the remainder of my funds are returned, but the process has been disillusioning.
