Customer service is dreadful
Customer service is dreadful - anytime you send an email, a reply or quick question to an existing chain, then your message joins the back of the queue and they reply in 5 days. I had to message the Cycleplan linkedin account to beg for someone to reply. The entire process took ages, only reason the review isn't one star is because they actually paid some money eventually. AVOID

Just to clarify, the cheaper price you’re referring to is due to our special introductory offer for new customers, you will have received this during your first year with us. This is why the discounted rate is shown on our website for new members.
When your policy comes up for renewal, the discount will unfortunately end, as it’s only available for the first year. This is because our underwriters provide this offer exclusively to new members, and after that initial period, the policy moves to the standard pricing.

I can see that you spoke with my colleague Alicia, who did everything she could to look at the available options for your renewal. On this occasion, the renewal price offered was the best we were able to provide. Due to price capping rules, applying an additional discount would have actually increased the price, which meant there were no further changes we could make.
I appreciate that this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for. Unfortunately, when price capping applies, it can limit how much flexibility we have with discounts, even when we’d like to do more to help.
I’m sorry we weren’t able to offer you a better price this time, but I do hope you’ve since been able to find cover that works for you.

Very good customer service from friendly professional staff. Good value premiums and easy on line quote processes. A nice touch is the refer a friend scheme.
