Fantastic 5 star customer service at Cycle King. Anthony H and the team took their time to find the perfect bike that met my needs. On a previous experience I needed an emergency repair on my bike and Robin fixed the bike for me within the hour which was a busy day when I walked in. From that experience and personal touch made me go back to purchase my new bike. Great team at Cycle King, thank you so much!

Brought a scratch and dent bike from these for my granddaughter . Can't even see a blemish, kids will scratch them anyway. Bike came well boxed. Good service and all important, the granddaughter is well chuffed.

Robert, Mechanic did an excellent Standard Service on my bike. Replaced front brake pads, adjusted back ones and gears and new handle bar grips. No more squeaks and rubs on wheels.

Visited Cycle King on Saturday 7th March as we were looking to buy a bike for our 9-year-old daughter. Alan was extremely helpful and took the time to talk us through several options without any pressure to buy.

Once we made our decision, we were told the bike would be assembled and ready to collect the following day, which was very convenient.

The price was excellent and the customer service was outstanding. We will be returning to buy a helmet and again in July to purchase a bike for our son. I would highly recommend Cycle King — you won’t be disappointed.

Good choice of cycle gear and at a reasonable price. Items arrived well packaged and in good condition. Only downside was the delivery time, bit slow I thought.

My husband and I travelled to Oxford to take a look at the bikes. After about 30 minutes of looking at the ones on display (there was plenty to look at for both kids and adults), I decided on a GT Avalanche 29" in Grey. It was the perfect height, and I loved the colour. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the bikes. We would definitely recommend this lovely shop if you are thinking of purchasing a bike.

Was given a price for a replacement alternative item which was very well received at this end. So much so I went with the offer.

Bought a Raleigh chopper bike on the Sunday afternoon was delivered Tuesday morning. There was a small part missing. I emailed Tuesday evening and had the part by Thursday morning. Excellent service. So happy with my bike and 1st class service.

Brilliant service from Cycle King Stony Stratford. I needed an independent inspection note for a dispute and they were incredibly helpful — inspected my Fiido X and confirmed on a test ride that the motor assist was cutting out around 9–10 mph. They didn’t charge me for the inspection/email, just asked me to leave an honest review. Proper, professional bike shop with great people. Would 100% use again.

I ordered online for Click&Collect at Bedford:
- Slime Anti-Puncture Green Tyre Liner Tape Pair, Code:RT4027

But on collection my wife was given:
- Weldtite Dr Sludge Anti-Puncture Tape Red, Code: RT4008
- (website)/components/puncture-repair/weldtite-dr-sludge-anti-puncture-tape-red__1896

Yet I had ordered SLIME being wide enough for hybrid tyres and having used it before. Whereas Dr.Sludge is narrower (for road bike tyres) so not suitable.

When I returned it today (not very happy at the runaround), Store Manager DANIEL got to the bottom of it. Of course he swapped it for Slime, but had not made a mistake picking Dr.Sludge, because Head Office appears to have made the Slime product code direct pickers to Dr.Sludge!

Repurposing product codes like this may seem to tame the workload (capturing a large/changing product range) but is very poor, legally dubious practice, resulting in collected goods being NOT AS DESCRIBED, also unsuitable for my wider hybrid tyres (not a road bike). Flouting the Consumer Rights Act 2015!

Anyway in view of the trouble, he kindly gave me a free brake check/adjust. Well done Daniel!

But Cycle King, you really need NOT to put your hard-working stores into this position.

Really helpful with a bike sale and later, with twisted handlebars on another bike - fixed immediately for free. Thank you
