Great service and excellent customer…

Great service and excellent customer care. I was in a RTC and my mountain bike wheels got buckled and so I took both wheels into netherfield store and the mechanic repaired them for me within a couple of days and did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for specialist service, much better than Halfords or anywhere else I tried. I will definitely be using this company again and a big thankyou to all the staff there.

Haven’t put my daughters bike to the…

Haven’t put my daughters bike to the test, but customer service in store at the Netherfield branch was great as was the communication in keeping the bike until we were ready to collect. Bike is beautiful.

Nottingham branches excellent service

I have just bought my bike using the Cycle2work scheme using your Nottingham branch, I was looked after by a lovely chap named Matt, the service he provided was absolutely amazing, advising me and amending my order to make sure my accessories were the right ones for my bike, and within the space of a couple of hours my bike was set up and I had collected it, I highly recommend Hawkes cycles but especially the Nottingham branch

I had a problem with an e-bike battery

I had a problem with an e-bike battery. it was outside the scope of what they do but they gave me contact details for a Company that could sort it. very helpful advice although i wasnt a paying customer. Makes me feel better about the business community

Very supportive, would visit and purchase from them again.

The chap that greeted me and supported me with my bike was so helpful and supportive, explained how the bike worked (electric trike), he encouraged me with helmet and locks and gave me a large seat (yay).
I love my new bike! its been a learning curve (with a trike and it's balance) but its so easy now and very good.

Great experience with John who was so…

Great experience with John who was so kind and polite to my daughter looking for her new bike. Both John and Matt were so helpful, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. However when we returned we received a horrible and very frosty experience from an older gentleman who had no time, or customer service skills he seemed bothered by us being there! so much so I nearly bought elsewhere. He didn’t acknowledge us when we entered the shop, he then said we need to wait while he finished his stock check! It was freezing and he didn’t say a single thing to us. Super awkward so we left and returned when Matt and John were in and ended up buying extra items due to their knowledge and customer service skills. Ask for John and Matt every time they are lovely and need that acknowledging!

New BMX

I purchased a BMX for my younger son as he wanted it for Xmas. The guys in the shop said it would be made up and just to let them know when I was collecting. I rang them Friday 29th Nov and they assured me it would be ready for the next day and good to go. I asked if they checked it all over and they said yes.My eldest son picked it up the next day, 30th November. They wheeled it out and the break was hanging off!! My son said he just couldn’t believe it, probably seeing my son’s expression the guy said ‘do you want me to put this on’, my son said ‘yes’!!!
I have since paid for an independent, mobile, bike specialist to come and check it over as I was really concerned and it turned out that the break wasn’t set properly and other things were loose and needed tightening up. This cost me £40 but money worth spending although I shouldn’t have needed to.
This is really unacceptable, kids safety should be their absolute priority.
