Completed our 4th Cycle Active adventure in September - Wales end to end. Really great trip. As usual excellent organisation and support. Can’t recommend Jon and Rich highly enough. Scotland here we come!

My hired E-bike battery did not have enough range for the mileage we completed. We pointed out to our Cycleactive representative on the second day of our ride that the battery ran out of charge on approach to our accommodation. Knowing that we had a much longer ride on the following day, I approached our representative, Rich, again on the final morning & he advised that I should conserve power. As an accomplished bicycle & e-bike rider, I rode all day on the lowest battery setting and found that by 12 miles a third of my battery power had gone. Fortunately the next 30 miles were mainly downhill or level. On the final ascent, the remaining battery percentage fell from 25% to 0%, although still on eco mode. This led me, as an experienced cyclist & electrical engineer, to conclude that the e-bike I was riding must be faulty. All of the other e-bikes hired by members of our group were fine. When I raised the issue with the Cycleactive representative, Rich, at our destination, South Queensferry, he insisted that the problem must have been caused by me. I was astounded at his response. This was the worst customer “service “ that I have ever experienced.
Last year rode the Classic C2C and were very impressed. Decided to complete the Devon C2C. Overall organisation was excellent, good communication beforehand. Everything as advertised. The Inn in Sheepwash was first class. Couldn't fault. Would certainly recommend.
I bought a bike from CycleActive There was an issue with it. Rich and Jon dealt with the problem and accepted the bike back and refunded my money.
Well organised, good communications beforehand and the rep (Jon) was very approachable - gave out necessary info, but not too much. Accommodation was great, particularly the hotel in Lydford.
I had a really GREAT time on the organised trip, all the other riders enjoyed the three days too.
Well organised and would recommend, the first of any more organised rides I will hopefully do with them.
Thanks to all those involved.
