I went for a free review two days ago and got exactly the same response as a previous reviewer. "This free CV review is meant to give you an honest, straightforward assessment with some suggestions to help in your job search. I personally review hundreds of CVs every month so I'm able to offer insight into how you pair up against other job seekers competing for the same positions.

Visual Presentation and Organisation
Sometimes looks do matter. In the case of your CV, it's especially true. I think your design is visually uneven. The look and feel of your document do not convey "experience" as much as your actual accomplishments do. Your CV is the first view a potential employer has of you. Treat it like your personal marketing tool.

Using bullets to highlight important information is helpful, but in your specific case, you should consider using a few less. It can be hard to narrow in on the most pertinent information when there are too many bullets. Size and type of bullets are also a consideration. Although seemingly minor, visual impact of a CV is the key to ensuring that an employer reads it thoroughly.

The free CV checking from a live person was amazing. They weren’t being nice, they were honest. Honesty is key to your CV. Being nice sometimes can take away some key information on what you should improve on. My CV had loads of error, and I intend on improving that with the honest feedback I got from my FREE CV checking person :)

Beware! Most of the reviews on here are only about the free advice service. Hardly any of the reviews are of their CV writing service for which they charge you a fee. I have used the free service which is fine, but I'm not sure I would shell out over £100 for a re written cv, given some of the negative comments on here about this part of their service.

I wish I'd known about them sooner, my cv went way to far back and the wording has probably cost me numerous interviews.

An extremely useful service, when you have a third party take a look at your CV they can identify bad habits and small errors in your writing that you yourself may not be able to spot. They give you a free review and tell you exactly what's missing. In these hard times right now, this service is very useful.
