Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I phoned to check stock and delivery before I placed the order online. I was advised that the product was physically in the hands of the person I was speaking to and would be sent out as soon as the order was placed. I then placed the order online, only to get a phone call within minutes to say the one they had was faulty, and so they wouldn't meet my delivery deadline. I then messaged them as advised to cancel the order. The product arrived the day after I needed it, and they refused to take it back because I accepted the terms and conditions. I will never ever shop here again.

The information in this review in our opinion is not accurate however we accept the understanding of the customer differs from ours .
The customer states they cancelled the order on the 30th of May however our records show that this cancellation request was received on the 5th of June which was after the delivery date.
My understanding after speaking with the reviewer (Philip) is that he had a conversation with a staff member and he was told the item would ship same day and I believe the misunderstanding comes from the words used. We can process an order same day however we cannot ship an order same day. I have explained that I am prepared to change the content of this review after I invetigate further however at this point ( 13.06.2018 ) the information shown below is accurate and is backed up by our communication log. I will amend the review after I complete my investigation ( 20.05.2018)
The ordered item ( Logitech Camera ) is not a stock item. We carry many products in stock however this is limited to cases , motherboards , memory , cpus , power supplies and other components for building PCs . We do not carry stock of specialty web cameras and our stated delivery term is 3-4 business days from date of order.
This order was placed at 11.53 on Wednesday the 30th of May 2017 and shipped on Friday the 1st of June and delivered on Saturday the 2nd of June 2018.
Normally we do not offer weekend deliveries however due to the bank holiday Nightline worked the Saturday to ensure there were no delays related to the bank holiday. We would have stated that the estimated delivery would be the following Tuesday based on no deliveries on bank holidays or weekends. We were unaware that Nightline were delivering on Saturdays and this was not notified to us which is why we stated tuesday for the estimated delivery day.
The order to delivery of this item was 2 business days.
This service did not cost extra and was provided free of charge by NIGHTLINE.ie
Below is the information link that shows order delivery schedules for orders. This shows that an order placed on a Wednesday before 3PM has an estimated delivery day of the following Monday ( or Tuesday if there is a bank holiday).

Appalling Customer Service (Missing money)
I ordered 2 cases by mistake (something happened with tabs on browser and didn't update to show 2. Upon noticing I immediately emailed the help desk and was told (a day later) it was no problem the order would be updated when everyone went back to work. A few days pass (around 5 or 6) and the order arrives with the two cases. I open the one I want and it is damaged. I email the help desk and they said use the second one, which works. I complain about being sent 2 in the first place and they tell me to return it and they'll reimburse me. I return it at a cost of €19.07. The case cost €42. They tell me that they will not reimburse the courier as it is not in their terms. Yet if they actually did their job properly, (which they had at least 2 days to do during processing) there would be no problem. I am still waiting to be reimbursed for anything nearly 20 days later. Very disappointing.
Bottom line: Customer service from custompc is atrocious and their whole rma portal is a joke. It takes them days to reply and sometimes you're lucky if you get one at all. This could also be the fault of their helpdesk system though. They also seem to take their time when dealing with complaining customers. If they cared that money would be back within a week.

Order was placed for 2 items and the confirmation email was then sent with the delivery following a few days later. It is the responsibility of the customer to return an unwanted item. We do not offer a collection service and it is the responsibility of the customer to arrange the return of the unwanted item. We cannot process or answer queries on non business days and this included weekends and bank holidays. Our support staff work Mondays to Friday from 9.30AM to 6PM . If you create a support ticket at 3Pm on a Saturday for example we will reply the following business day which would be Monday. Our accounts team process credits/refunds within 5 business days of an item having been returned and inspected. Your card issuer / bank however has up to 30 days to apply this credit to your account. For details on this I would recommend contacting your card issuer or Bank. Our RMA website is a dedicated website which is monitored business hours Monday to Friday and allows our customers to interact direct with our support staff and therefore improves the service by streamlining the process.
If you order 2 of the same item we have no way to know this is an error unless we are notified !
If we spot an error on an order for example motherboard and cpu are not compatible we will notify you the customer however
we cannot change orders based on the quantity. Our website asks all customers to confirm the order prior to completing to avoid errors.
Please also note that our website will always update the quantiyy in the basket and on the order confirmation page and this will also
clearly been shown on the PDF invoice and within the confirmation email.
Very slow & virtually no customer service - AVOID
Ordered a hard drive before 12 PM on Tuesday 20/2/18 and received an email saying my order was being "processed".
According to their website, the order was still being processed on Thursday 22/2/18 so I emailed them and asked what was going on. Their only reply was an from an autoresponder saying that they had received my email and were reviewing it.
On Friday, they decided to change my order status to complete - which didn't mean that the order was complete, just that they had finally decided to ship my order.
So, I'll receive my order sometime next week.
They claim to have the fastest delivey in Ireland but it takes them a full week to deliver a small item 46 miles. I actually could have walked to Carlow and back in less time.
At this point it seems obvious that the only reason the shipped my order at all this week was as a result of my email.
My advice is to avoid this company like the plague. Shop around, there are plenty of good retailers out there who actually do what they promise.

Great First Experience
It was my first time ordering from custompcparts and I must say I was delighted with the service. I found the website easy to use and when I called the Dublin office to ask was my part available (A Graphics Card) I spoke with a friendly and helpful staff member. I ordered my part on Thursday evening and it came by Tuesday morning, a day before I expected it. The courier service (Nightline) was very helpful too. I will definitely buy all my PC parts from custompcparts from now on. Highly recommended

We cannot cancel an order or refund a payment outside of business hours. We received an email after close of business to cancel this order and we replied at that time confirming receipt of the request. A further 3 tickets were opened after 10PM to which we replied to all stating that the order could be cancelled next business day and any payment would be refunded within 5 business days.
I have read the original ticket opened by this customer and it seems their issue was with another supplier where they refused an order because the processor received was opened prior to them having received it. We replied stating that all of our products are new and from official distribution and are sealed. This was the only ticket opened inside of office hours and it was replied to within a short time on the day it was received.
If you have been placing orders online since 1998 you must therefore understand that no orders can be cancelled or refunded outside of business hours.
Our order dispatch and delivery schedule is displayed on each page of our website and state that orders can take up to 5 business days from date of order with a same day processing cut off of 3PM.
We operate a first class customer support service which is powered by the industry leading Zendesk Software and our staff are both qualified and experienced across a range of disciplines. Our staff answer upwards of 200 tickets per day with an customer satisfaction rate of 93.8%. We answer support tickets across multiple platforms which include Live Chat , Messaging , Contact form , Help Centre , Email , Social Media ( Facebook , Twitter , Etc. ). We have put a lot of time and effort into creating a world class support system for our customers here in Ireland and for a review to state such inaccuracies if very annoying considering the facts.
We have adhered to both the terms and conditions of this order and to both EU and Irish sales legislation.
Unfortunately we cannot reply to each email within seconds of receipt and we clearly state that we reply to tickets during office hours normally within 2 hours from receipt. Outside of office hours we state that replies will be next business day. We do however monitor the help centre after hours and almost all tickets will receive a confirmation receipt or a detailed reply. We cannot complete all after hours requests for support as this is a limited service and our staff and for example with this request our accounting team work office hours Monday to Friday Only.

We update our website daily and if there is a disprepancy reported we will always remove the item and notify the manufacturer. This is however a rare occurance and we are aware of only 3 instances of us having to report data errors in the last 2 years and yes one of those was the PNY GTX1060 3GB Graphics card. The issue however is not as straight forward as you are stating. You received the card you ordered and this was confirmed to you when you placed the order and on your invoice. We accept that there were 3 images showing on our website for this product and that the thumbnail image of the retail box did show a a differant model. The datasheet and main images however were accurate and you were given the opportunity if unhappy with your purchase to return. I would also like to point out that the image shown in your basket and on the checkout page matched the item you ordered and received . The EAN and SKU matched the image and this clearly showed the PNY 3GB Single fan Card http://www.pny.eu/consumer/explore-all-products/graphics-cards/742-geforce-gtx-1060-3gb-gddr5
Products Orders when added to a shopping basket on our website show an accurate image of the ordered item in the basket.
Mistakes can happen however these are very rare and we acknowledge the thumbnail showing the retail box did show a dual fan configuration. The card shown in your basket was the correct card and it matched the ordered item.
The twin fan version has only ever been available as a 6GB model and was never listed on our website as a 3GB model.

Will definitely buy again
Built my first pc yesterday and being new to all this kind of thing I looked up reviews after making the purchases. I got 90% of my parts from custompcparts.ie and upon looking up reviews started to slightly worry with some of the reviews on here, because let's face it people only pay attention to the bad reviews. From my experience anyway everything is good I got all my parts yesterday 9-1-2018 after ordering on New Year's Day. Any queries I had were answered fairly quick and one of my parts was not in stock so someone rang me to inform me of this and offered me a replacement. He said he would ship everything after the phone call and I had them the next morning. All in all I will definitely buy again when I can afford to upgrade to better parts.
