I purchased a $500 airbnb gift card but cannot redeem. Airbnb indicated Costco need to investigate but Costco wanted Airbnb to investigate. In the end, nobody would help solve the issue.
AVOID Online Shopping with COSTCO
Absolute disgraceful service from 2 Man Limited the contractor Costco UK uses to deliver the white goods. I purchased a washing machine online with disposal and fitting. The 2 guys who turned at the door, the first question they asked me is, has it been disconnected? So rude and didn't give me a chance to explain. The company contacted me while the two guys stood at my doorstep, and the lady I spoke to was so rude and bad attitude. The guys left without telling me anything and within 10 minutes, I contacted Costco customer support and they are telling me I have to wait for 1 more week before they can deliver.
2 Man Limited have some shocking reviews online and the trouble they have caused customers. COSTCO urgently needs to address this issue and stop using poor contractors. It only causes inconvenience for customers.
Friendly Agents, difficulty to provide a resolution
First of all the agents I worked with are very friendly and polite, no complaint there. But they do have difficulty to provide a solution, calls get disconnected, often there is a wait and hold time to speak to and agent. Overall the experience is very tiering.
Costco has a very complex array of products my guess is there is a training issue with the agents in regards how to best address the issue at hand. They always need some time to research an issue and different agents find different solutions. Then they put you on hold to connect you and the call gets disconnected while holding.
Rinse, dry and repeat.
It takes multiple attempts and repeated call ins to get anywhere with them. Again it is not the individual agent that is not friendly or is not trying. It is that they do not have a good grip on the complexity of their products.
Most arrogant people ever
Most arrogant people ever, absolutely diabolical, rude and obnoxious staff. Everything is to much for the staff to help, pure attitude from everyone we encountered through our visit, we where happy and bubbly all the way through our experience but that’s all it was an abrupt experience.

Costco online in the uk is absolutely awful.. I bought a barbecue online last year and had awful service with a damaged lid to the barbecue… over the last month I have purchased two items, total is over £2000 that were delivered. The table base had a broken bracket which made it unusable and three weeks later I’m still waiting for them to contact me with a solution. This is absolutely disgusting even after I’ve chased and chased,They obviously have massive issues and need a big shake up with management to sort out what issues they have online…very very poor service…. And I still have no resolution to the broken table base yet.

If I could give lower, I would. Delivered by third-party group, stated they would install but then said they did not have the items. Made it harder by not delivering any of the screws, washers, etc., that came with the furniture. Taken almost a week of back and forth just to get the replacement pieces, and Costco willingly ignores you and your issue if you do not follow-up constantly. Only offered a small refund of the purchase price. Will never use Costco delivery again.

The online is horrible and full of glitches, they are losing money big time. I spent 2 days and well over an hour trying to buy a big tv, even got customer service on the phone who were baffled why it didn’t work. While the put me on hold I went to Walmart ionline and bought the tv is 1 minute for cheaper too, delivered in 2 days compared to Costco’s 12 day estimate. Time to switch my Costco stock for Walmart
Dyson Ball Vacuum
I ordered 2 Dyson Ball from Costco Online, while I was ordering the product, price was £124.98. I received order confirmation and after couple of hours I received another email about cancellation. It is below.
"We regret to inform you that due to a pricing error, we are unable to fulfil your order for the Dyson Ball. Please be assured other items will be delivered as requested if this was part of a larger order.
In addition, please accept the following £10 online voucher to use on your next online order. Voucher valid until 28/02/2025."
When I asked why my order was cancelled, their customer service answered that there is no stock. It is ridiculous.
Ordered 21st July - Still No Delivery
I ordered Garden Furniture from Costco on the 21st July. The delivery company sent a message on the 22nd July to say they will aim to deliver within 7 business days. I then received a message on 31st July to say that the delivery slot was still in the planning stage and they would be in touch asap to finalise the delivery. It is now the 6th August and I have had no further contact from them. Both the contact numbers given on the website (Kinetic) are inactive. I have contacted Costco customer service twice in regards to this delivery and all they do is chase it up by emailing Kinetics. I have never had so much trouble with a delivery and now wish I had given my business to the local garden centre.

Ordered a sofa... would be contacted within 4 working days and delivery would be within 10 working days. The delivery address is a holiday let 300 miles away so I have to be there... have called and called explaining the problem. They finally offered me a delivery date, knowing that I couldn't be there... no other dates offered. The postcode isn't on one of their exception postcodes but I have been told that they will let me know when the courier is coming in my direction. I have the most expensive Costco account ... what for, as they are putting customers behind their workers for convenience. Absolutely diabolical service - also usual having to wait 2 days to get a reply as they alledgedly can't call the courier. I would go out of business if I offered this level of service and lets face it, Costco membership is for business owners...
I don’t happy with the delivery
I don’t happy with the delivery. I bought the refrigerator on Saturday July 27th. and told costco that my house is townhouse and small, asked if they could help me move the refrigerator into my house? They said ok. And according to the schedule it would be shipped on thursday. But on Thursday, they came and said my house was having difficulty moving, needed more people to help, and they left. Until now i have not received a call on the exact day i will receive the refrigerator. I dont happy with that.

This morning went to COSTCO in Selma TX. They definitely do not care about their customers. Everytime we go to check out it is chaos. Most people wait there turn in line; however there are those who always want to cut in line. I spoke to the cashiers that checked me out and they said we don't care. They said customers can go to any line and cut in where ever they want. A COSTCO employee use to direct people to the lines. I haven't seen this for several months. Customer support is very poor.

I recently purchased a dishwasher when the delivery company was delivering. They dragged a metal pump truck over my brand-new by Photos scratch in the metal plastic and damaging the rubber. Delivery problems
Ordered a tv on the 17th July 2024 still no delivery slot booked on 26th July even though i have rang and used chat line every day for a week, It takes 48 working to get a response from a manager. But even the manager can not get a delivery slot. They have a supply problem getting deliveries out. I waited 1 hr and 40 mins to get through on chat. To be told wait and see what happens. but Costco are still taking new orders?
Do not use Costco online
Ordered an LG tv and got confirmation that they aim to deliver within 7 business days. Payment was taken immediately. A week later I received an email asking me to follow a link to Kinetics, their delivery service, to agree a delivery date. The link advised me that the link is not currently active. Eventually got the link but they could not trace the order. Called Costco customer services. They have no way to contact Kinetics by phone and I would be contacted within 2 days. This is a very poor service so if you want a delivery go to another company.
Soon after submitting above review I was contacted with a delivery date, is this a coincidence, only one day later than the 7 day promise, so hopefully all will be resolved. My experience of buying in Costco stores has always been good so hopefully their online service will improve and match it.
2 weeks delivery then wrong model TV
Ordered a 55 Hisense TV at what seemed a good price. The 2-3 day delivery turned into 2 weeks. No reason given. Then they delivered the wrong TV model. Lesser spec than the one I ordered but at about the same price. Phoned customer services, very apologetic and said they could organise a return. At this point I said I would keep the TV they supplied as the costs were pretty much what I paid them. I was told it would take up to 48 hours for them to give me a yes or no as to whether I could do this. I asked to talk to someone more senior. I was promised a call back in up to 48 hours.
I don't usually leave reviews, but this is the worst service I have every come across. I will never use them online again.

Got a replacement mower and they mistakenly refunded me and then I couldn't pay for it because the online account wouldn't let me. Went in and contacted the service mananger. She said they couldn't do it instore contacted online waited over forty minutes when they said it would be a ten minute wait. They couldn't figure it out either. Stood in their ridiculous line to find my membership had been put on hold so they couldn't do anything. Online again ridiculous wait-still nothing done. If it was Amazon it would have taken me three minutes. Never will use their online service again.
