Unusually good customer service
I was really blown away by the customer service at this place. I’m a general contractor and have become accustomed to bad customer service and non existent communication with so many suppliers these days, I felt like I was transported back in time to a place where you call and get to talk to a real person right away who actually knows what’s going on and seems to genuinely care about your order. Any little detail or question that would come up while they were processing and building my order, I would get a phone call and email right away asking for my input.

The doors came out nice
The doors came out nice, but took a couple weeks longer than promised. Also, on the website, it says doors under 72 inches tall will have 2 panels and 3 hinges. My doors were 71.75 inches tall, but came with 3 panels and 4 hinges. Luckily, I was able to smooth over the difference with my client. Otherwise, I would have had to return them.

Best customer service ever!
This is what customer service used to be like. I ordered some custom hickory cabinet doors and wanted to make some drawers to match but couldn't find the proper router bit to match the edge of the door. I contacted their customer service who was more than happy to tell me which router bit to use for so I could match their doors which I was then able to do. I then ordered more doors since the first set were crafted so beautifully and found one had a crack. I again contacted customer service with a picture of the cracked door and they immediately began working to replace the door and sent it out to me within a week. This is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with and their work is beautiful! Thank you Custom Built Door!!!
