A superb service from a genuine 'old school', 'old fashioned standards' man. Andrew spent plenty of time discussing my requirements and giving me plenty of advice. I gave him a very difficult job to do which was not in his normal remit and he came up with superb results. It is rare to come across people who take pride in their work and genuinely want to do a good job but Andrew is one such person. There are not many such people around these days, make use of him while he is still doing his stuff.

Should have been better! No problem with the transfers themselves, in fact very good quality. However the sizing was an issue, and I am partly to blame for that as I ok'ed a print of the transfer sheet from my printer. That and the transfer sheet were not the same, the print on the transfer sheet was too large. I did use parts of the sheet though which is why I'm not asking for any money back. I was fortunate to have a very old GRS transfer sheet and eventually got enough from that to complete the job well enough, but not the best. Disappointing all in all especially for the cost.

In reply to Custom Model Decals - I didn't feel I could phone you and complain when I had used some of the sheet you sent. Maybe I was wrong about that. The fact remains that the decals were way oversize, and considering you had Stephen Philips L&B book Measured and Drawn you shouldn't have been able to go wrong. I even mentioned to you that the planks on the truck in question were a scale 10mm. Nevertheless the wagon is finished, the transfers that are on it now are what they are!
The product was really good, just sizing an issue, you can't rely on peoples printers to print accurately!

Very helpful in ensuring that the decals for my Gauge 1 loco were correct in every detail. Transfers appear to be of good quality and I applied them with no problems. However, do not use Micro Sol or Micro Set to improve their adhesion. These seemed to dissolve one of the transfers on the loco tank and I had to re-do. Fortunately Andrew provided plenty of spares.

The customer service is brilliant, the decals look great.
However, these will not work with scale models. They just don’t stick. Go brittle and fall off.
You can’t use and decal agents with them as there waterproof.
Waste of time and money. Gutted
