Contacted this company last year whilst looking after a private client of mine.
I left the client mid year, decided to request that they change my account from client to carer and they basically shut me doen without any care or respect.
I made a carer profile last year but due tk personal.circumstances at the time I decided not to pursue care, instead I decided to learn to drive.
Now I have the ability to drive I sent an email requesting that they reactivate my log in details.
Instead of being professional. They first asked if I had used a Curum Carer to work with the client I was working with last year.
Which wasnt what I asked! Instead of helping or assisting me with my query they were hoping for me to say Yes so they fould try and charge me or the client money for the taking of business.
So when I said no. To which is the truth, I left the client. So I have no idea what business was conducted after I left.
Getting back to my actual question which was to reinstate my log in so I could be seen by other clients, not to mention the client I was working with previously was not on their books. I only contacted them to try and find a resbite carer.
They had the cheek to simply just say No.
With out any explanation as to why. So rude.
Who does that, especially a care company thats basis should be care and empathy.
Id avoid dealing with admin customer services representatives that hide behind a computer. Who probably dont care about the client or carer. As if they did, they wouldnt be in an office belittling carers that actually do the hard work.
Disgusting people.

There are lots of opportunities shown on the Curam page/app, but clients rarely respond, so it's difficult to get work.
Curam take a 15% fee, as well as charging the client more.
Curam claim they provide training and insurance, but I have private insurance and have never been able to access training through Curam.

The carer was punctual, friendly and very competent. It was so easy giving details of our requirements and getting a selection of carers to choose, with competencies and fees up front. The landlady of our accommodation said she had lost customers as they couldn't get carers so I have recommended Curam to her and she will help spread the word.

We found a lovely carer on the Curam Care website. The website was easy to navigate and we were exceedingly fortunate with our choice of carer. On one occasion our carer was ill and unable to attend. The money we had paid was promptly refunded.

I've used the Curam platform previously as a client and now for the last 16 months as a carer. So I've experience of both sides of the coin. Curam are continually updating and finding more use friendly ways to access the help we all need. I've never had any issues in both instances and found the site easy to navigate. Transactions and conversations are simple and trouble free. Being able to form a small network (micro team) is extremely helpful which helps you direct a client to a friendly face who may have the working hours that you can't fill.
I recommend using Curam for both ease and reassurance.

I have been on Curam for 2 and abit years now I have had really great clients from the Curam site/App I like that there is an agreement set that you can also add to and invoicing is so easy. It's great to get free carers insurance and free NACAS membership so I don't mind paying the 15% back to Curam. My only gripes is that my payment is received 2 days after my shift and Curam making me feel like I'm being dishonest by always prying on my messages with clients and asking me questions other than that I love the services offered and believe its worth it!

I've deleted and blocked everything number you tried to contact me on mainly because you provided no contact information beyond a link just like scammers do.
Whether your genuine or not I wouldn't rate you very highly at all. As if this is an error on your part and you used my number by mistake you've got some poor person out there who most likely wondering what's going on with there care.
But I'm not surprised given your reply to me no apology and wanting me to do the work.

Really bad excperience. i am going through divorce , didn't work for few mounths. went back to my account / it is not working.
Contacted curam , they said my account not activated any more as client wanted to pay directly. I asked to provide me evidence as i feel discriminated. No evidences/ just simple reply ... that my account is deleted.
Feel bad, as i haven't done anything.

My experience was mostly good. I had a bit of difficulty in paying but that resolved. I was able to get a carer quickly and we were able to communicate fairly easily. I didn't have an opportunity to meet the carer beforehand but that was probably because I didn't have much time between booking and needing the carer.
