Poor shopping and shipping experience

Shopping experience, although started quite well in turned out on a negative one.
First I got an extra charge on the shipping cost (twice the original) and the reason explained was that "shipping rates are not updated in the web for some countries", I really do not understand how this may happened.
Second, once I confirmed and paid my order it took more than a week to know by when the order will be shipped. This one is actually harder to understand than the extra shipping costs.
To be honest, although an interesting product, it is not a good experience, especially because it is impossible to anticipate what is expected in terms of final price (shipping costs) and timing for the order delivery and arrival.
