Finally found a Descript alternative that works better for me

I used Descript for quite a while and honestly spent way more money on it than I should have. I originally liked the idea of editing video through text, but over time it started feeling expensive and more complicated than I needed for the kind of videos I make.

Then I found CueClip and decided to give it a try. The biggest difference for me is how quickly I can get through an edit. It automatically cleans up pauses, filler words and retakes, and I can still go in and adjust everything myself afterward. For talking-head videos and course content, it saves me a ridiculous amount of time.

The workflow is straightforward, captions and clips are easy to make, and I have much more control over the final edit.

After spending so much on Descript, I really wish I had found CueClip earlier. Definitely worth trying if you mainly edit spoken-content videos and want something faster and simpler.
