Was a Fiber customer for over two years, internet was fine. When I attempted to discontinue service due moving, I called several times to make sure the service was turned off on the correct date…

They cut it off a week early and had to get it turned back on for a week.
The CHARGED ME $100 connection fee and the whole months next bill.

I’ve called several more times and can never get a manager or supervisor on the phone to correct it. You get “someone will call back in 24-48 hrs to resolve it, but that never happens !

So you call again and again without being able to get it resolved.

Agent sent me a fake virus scam link and you have to buy extra data if your billing cycle hasn't ended even if you've already paid your bill

I called to add money to my pay as you go account because I was out of data. The credit was not automatically added. The automated service said my cycle ended in three days and my account would update then. I asked to speak to the agent and explained that I wanted to go ahead and add the credits to my account. I was told that I couldn't they would be added when the cycle ended and they could give me that date if I give them my pin. I said I didn't need the date because the automated service already told me it was three days. I said it just doesn't help me now. (I wasn't at home and needed to access gps). The agent ignored what I said and asked for the pin. I gave the pin and was told that actually my cycle didn't restart for six days. That three days was my payment date but my cycle wouldn't restart until three days after that and that's when my data would reset. (Although my calling ability resets on the bill date). The agent asked would I loke to upgrade my plan for an additional $45 payment and it would take effect today. I declined. She then offered a datapass, which I said yes too. She sent me a link. When I clicked the link it was a fake virus scam link. I contacted support to let them know that I was sent a scam link. They did say that it was spelled wrong and they would send the information on. I'm sharing in case the same happens to someone else they know it's a scam link.

Customer service is exceptional

Customer service is exceptional. My fiber network has been up without issue for over 9 months. I recently had an issue connecting a network device and CSpire responded immediately by phone and next day onsite to help me resolve the issue.

On Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we purchased a new iPhone 17 Pro from the C Spire store in Hattiesburg, MS as a major Christmas gift for our 14-year-old son. When he unwrapped it that evening, we immediately noticed the OtterBox case sold to us by the store was the wrong one and did not fit the phone.
When we powered the phone on for the very first time, the screen turned red with visible lines, indicating a clear hardware issue straight out of the box. We immediately drove back to the Hattiesburg C Spire store on Christmas Eve.
Despite the phone being brand new and just opened, we were told we had broken the phone, that C Spire would not fix or replace it, and that we would have to pay for it ourselves. There was no troubleshooting, no escalation, and no attempt to help especially disappointing given the timing and the fact that this was a child’s Christmas gift.
We left the store with a very upset child on Christmas Eve and are now paying off a broken device out of pocket. As a result of this experience, we are switching our entire service to Verizon, where we were offered a free replacement phone, a Verizon gift card, and a lower monthly bill along with actual customer support.
This experience cost C Spire our business. I am sharing this publicly so corporate leadership is aware of how situations like this are being handled at the store level, especially during the holidays. No family should be treated this way over a defective device that was never even used.

WISHING I HAD NEVER HEARD OF CSPIRE WIRELESS s the absolute worst…

Cspire Wireless is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I had hoped after getting Cspire Fiber in my home that their phones would work with my fiber. Not so. No one (3 installers later) ever told me that I could not use my existing cellphones with their fiber due to having a metal roof on my house. After 3 weeks of dealing with BBB of MS still no ACTION from Cspire Wireless; they owe me $200 and are making life INSANELY DIFFICULT FOR THIS OLD LADY, WIDOW AND CAREGIVER. Finally, I get another credit; thank you.

Replaced my phone with lower quality phone

When they replaced my phone after a warranty claim, they gave me an inferior downgraded phone, stating that it was the only phone they had left to replace my more expensive phone with. My phone cost almost 200 dollars more than the phone they gave me. They basically told me to take it or leave it. Poor company.

Not what they use to be

Been with cspire for a very long time and prices/services are horrible. My contract is up soon and switching to a more reliable and affordable company.

Cspire had workers to come out and dig my lawn up and replaced with rocks they through rocks all over my yard and through rocks all over my straw, and hid rocks in bushes, they damaged and destroyed my lawn, I have sent photos, they flags are still in my yard, showing where the damage is,this us horrible, this us my home,and I own it not CSpire,I didn't authorize any ground work, I wasn't given any advance notice, they invaded my privacy and my property, what happened to the US Constitution, and the right to privacy, their business trespass on my property and caused a tremendous and significant amount of damage, and they are ignoring me bad business. I want the damages corrected immediately, this us so a absurd, and horrible that a business can destroy my property and have not corrected it,I didn't authorize this horrible invasion and trespass, this was unjustly done,they have been over multiple times digging up my lawn, pipes, internet equipment, this has been going on for almost two weeks and it is a horrible disaster,and they are slow about fixing the damage, I sent an estimate for the damage and numerous photos,when I called customer service number, I stayed on phone waiting for hour,no onecame to phone.Horrible Bad Business practices. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with this business for damaging my property.

ANY SERVICE BUT CSPIRE

This has been going on with cspire for years. I bought the Samdung S23Ultra when Cspire FORCED me to "retire" my Samsung S8Plus. Yea I know it was old but t it NEVER failed me. This S23Ultra has been nothing but a nightmare since we DAY 1. Dropped calls, Dropped registry, Almost NO Signal unless in town, but calling 611... calls are PERFECT EVERY TIME... and Cspire gives me BS every time I ask WHY I can call THEM but nobody else.
Promises made. I was told engineers would come to my home and test towers, test phone, replace phone, call back to check progress... ALL BS.
This is YEARS NOW... And when you call you'll get the same robotic " I'm sorry you're having difficulty" routine... about as sincere as an alcoholic swearing off booze.
And I've been paying insurance on this phone. I called to make a claim and was told "we have no record of you in our system"....

STAY AWAY FROM Cspire .. Get a throw phone but STAY AWAY

Report C Spire Customer Abuse

I wrote a review stating that C Spire abuses its customers. C Spire employees have lied and threatened me mentally and physically. I have watched many customers being taken advantage of with unethical and often illegal contract-signing practices while they commit elder abuse.
If you enjoy being financially, emotionally, and physically abused by C Spire, you have found your company.

decent service, sorry support

While their Internet service is pretty reliable, contacting support, whether via phone or the mycspire app is pretty pathetic. Often phone rings for upwards of 10 minutes before someone answers (especially outside of M-F 0800-500. The app is virtually useless for reaching support

I'm having issues with bank draft…

I'm having issues with bank draft auto pey I've been to the cspire store in Oxford Ms 4 times and got no where I keep getting notices saying something WENT WRONG WITH AUTO PAY I've called customer service on 3 different occasions. I have Exhausted ALL my patience please resolve this or I will find another carrier.

Glitchy

I had some issues with Mediacom internet going out every once in a while, so I signed up for C Spire having read a lot of good reviews (I should have read the reviews here, but I didn't) and after 2 days it keeps cutting out. At least with Mediacom when it was out it was out, no stopping and starting and stopping and starting and Mediacom new when it was out and you could get an estimated up time. I'm going to give C Spire a little more time but if this keeps up I'm cancelling and probably going back to Mediacom since the only other fiber here is Brightspeed and the reviews for them are really bad.

My cable was accidentally cut and I…

My cable was accidentally cut and I called to inform CSpire. Had good service to reconnect but the tech told me they didn’t bury the new wire they ran above ground but they would schedule it to be done. It’s been 13 days and have heard from no one. I called custservice & they said no ticket had been turned in. He said I would get a call in 2-3 days to set up an appointment to bury line. Someone dropped the ball. I have about 100 Ft of wire on the ground and I can’t mow the yard! Very POOR customer service for a 3 month customer.

These people have gotten so bad there not worth the time of day these people will rip you off I've been with these people for so long they were cell south before c spire I've been with them for over 15 yrs prices have sky rocketed there service is really poor and there customer service is the worst they say I'm a gold member you can kiss it im not going to be a member no more I'm dropping my business lines and personal lines effective immediately and I will be posting the reasons on all social media platforms also on our business platform every customer business every customer I get I will be telling them how vary poor yall treat customers and how much cheaper and better Verizon is c spire you are failing between business lines personal lines and internet service I pay over 2000 a month Verizon will be getting that business now and there letting me keep the same phones and numbers so no hair off my butt

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I was overcharged on my bill. I called for help and only received rude and inconsiderate feedback from the manager on duty. I was quoted a price for service. At the install it was more, I was ok with that. By the time I got my bill it was even more. Just ridiculous how they lie about what you will pay. They overcharged people and are not honest. I will advise you to use another company that is transparent about your monthly bill.

Disastrous Phone Purchase Experience at C Spire, 4864 I-55, Jackson, MS 39211

My mother recently attempted to purchase a new phone for me as a Christmas gift at C Spire, 4864 I-55, Jackson, MS 39211, and the entire experience was incredibly negative.

Upon entering the store, the sales associate immediately asked me to retrieve my phone from my car. While I was away, he attempted to steer my 83-year-old mother towards an overpriced plan ($45/month), claiming it was the cheapest option for a free phone deal. This raised concerns about potential attempts to take advantage of her age. I knew this was incorrect, having already researched and found a similar deal online for $25/month.

The sales associate charged my mother's card for the full phone price, activation, and service before completing the necessary steps. We were left waiting without explanation, and when we inquired, he rudely stated that we would wait until he finished, implying that our time was unimportant. This lack of transparency and professionalism was unacceptable. Instead of acknowledging my information, the associate abruptly walked away without a word to engage with other customers. I waited patiently, feeling increasingly ignored. When I inquired about the delay, he responded rudely, implying I was wasting his time with questions.

The store manager was present throughout the entire interaction and witnessed the sales associate's unprofessional behavior. Despite this, she chose to remain inactive and did not intervene. When I requested a refund, her dismissive response of 'Okay, but it's going to be a minute' further demonstrated a lack of concern for resolving the situation.

Frustrated and disrespected, I expressed my desire to leave without the phone. However, as it was a Christmas gift from my mother, she insisted on proceeding. This resulted in an unfortunate disagreement with store security.

This incident left my mother stressed and upset, severely damaging my trust in C Spire. I am extremely dissatisfied with C Spire's customer service and will not recommend their services to anyone.

I was with Cellular South before they become C-Spire
They always been good to me, before and after. I always have dependable services, with no drop calls.
All I have to say, if you want dependable services and a low monthly bill, gave C-Spire a try. To me Version, ATT and T-Mobile have nothing I won't, unless you want a higher phone bill and a lot of bull.
