The company is a scam and essentially robs sellers of what they consign. I submitted 3 items 8 months ago and customer service has not been able to provide an update on where any of those items are. I... See more

I left a review in October regarding bags I consigned and was never paid for. The company responded publicly stating that I have now been paid — this is not true.
I am currently in the process of pursuing a County Court Judgment (CCJ) through the small claims court due to non-payment. I strongly encourage anyone who has consigned items and not received payment to consider legal action and report the matter to Action Fraud if appropriate.
The company claimed two of my bags were missing. I later found evidence that they were sold on their own website, which I documented.
This experience has been extremely disappointing and distressing. I hope others will be cautious and take steps to protect themselves if they are in a similar situation.

I’ve consigned items with CSD for over two years. While there were occasional delays in the past, my recent experience has raised serious concerns about how this company is currently operating — particularly with regard to how it handles payments to sellers.
I have multiple sold items — some dating as far back as June 2025 — that remain unpaid, despite being well past CSD’s own stated 14-day return window. I was told over the phone that payment would be made by end of October. That deadline has long passed, and yet I still have not received the funds I am rightfully owed.
What’s worse is the complete lack of accountability or access to anyone who can actually resolve the issue. Customer support teams are polite but powerless — they can only email the internal accounting team, who do not reply. When I visited one of CSD’s stores in person, I witnessed the same process: staff simply send a Slack message to a mysterious accounts department that no customer (or even staff) can speak to directly.
While in store, I personally saw at least 10 other consignors chasing unpaid payments that same day — all being told the same thing: “we’ve flagged it again.” That alone tells you this is not an isolated incident.
CSD has never once proactively paid me. Every single payment has required chasing. I’ve sent multiple emails, made several phone calls, and even visited in person — only to receive vague reassurances, no firm answers, and no resolution. It now appears that there may be serious internal cash flow or operational issues that consignors are not being told about.
I’ve since requested that my remaining unsold items be moved to other resale platforms such as Sign of the Times and Loop Generation, both of which I’ve found to be far more professional, transparent, and communicative.
Until CSD can demonstrate clear, consistent, and timely payment processes — and staff with the authority and ability to act — I cannot recommend consigning through them. I’m posting this anonymously, but I hope it helps others make a more informed decision before sending valuable items to a business that, in its current state, does not appear capable of honouring its basic responsibilities to its sellers.

Scammers! Avoid at all costs!!!!
I consigned an item with CSD and never received my payment. They ignored my emails and calls for months — I had to start a court claim just to get a response. Totally unprofessional and dishonest. Do not trust them with your items or money.
Update:
I had to start a court claim against this company and only then managed to recover a small portion of what I was owed. Just before the court hearing, they agreed to pay me a little extra — clearly out of fear of legal action.
This organisation operates like a scam. They take your items, never provide any proof of sale, invoice, or receipt, and simply hope you’ll forget about it. When you chase them, they claim the item was “sold at a reduced price” (50% off) — something they justify with their terms and conditions. But there’s no evidence of any genuine sale!
I’m convinced they sold my item for much more and then lied about the final price. They drag out payments for months, ignore emails and calls, and only pay up when you take legal action. Their excuse? “A problem in the system” — which is just funny at this point.

Extremely poor communication and no payments – consign at your own risk!
I consigned two items with this store that were marked as sold online back in April 2025. Despite chasing them via email and phone for months, I only received a response in August, saying my query had been forwarded to their accounts team — even though I had been cc’ing that team the entire time. No one ever responded.
They eventually promised payment for one item by the end of August — it never arrived. As for the second item, they claimed in early September that it was still within the 14-day return window, even though both items had been marked "sold out" since April. That’s over six months ago — it simply doesn’t add up.
Bear in mind, these weren’t even high-value items. I can’t imagine what happens with more expensive consignments if they’re struggling to process payments for average ones.
There appears to be no proper complaints process. I was told to keep emailing the same inbox I’d been contacting for months — which rarely replies, and when it does, sends vague apologies with no follow-through.
I’m considering filing a formal complaint with Citizens Advice, as something seems seriously off about how this business handles consignments.
P.S. I’ve posted the same review on your Google page, so you know who I am. Please don’t reply suggesting I contact your reviews email address - I already did that on 9 October 2025. The only response I received was a vague apology with no meaningful follow-up.

I recently purchased two pairs of shoes, a pair of boots, and a stunning dress — all through different platforms: TikTok Live, the CSD website, and Whatnot. Despite the variety of channels, the experience was consistently exceptional.
A massive shoutout to Regina, Laure, Joya, and Hannah — you all made me feel like an absolute queen! Your warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail are unmatched. That kind of customer service is rare and truly memorable — it’s the reason I’ll keep coming back.
CSD has officially become my go-to destination for luxury goods. Thank you for making every purchase feel special!

THEY LIE, CHEAT AND LIE SOME MORE - THEY ARE THIEVES
WHERE DO I START. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR ITEMS TO THIS COMPANY. I WILL BE FILING A CRIMINAL REPORT - THEY SOLD MY ITEM FOR A CERTAIN PRICE BUT RECORDED SOMETHING ELSE ON THE STATEMENT. YOU CANNOT REACH THEM ON THE PHONE AND WHEN THEY DO PICK UP THEY MAKE UP ALL KINDS OF EXCUSES LIKE IT ISSUES AND PAYOUT AT THE END OF THE MONTH BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. THEY ACTUALLY SOLD MY ITEM FOR A CERTAIN PRICE BUT INTENTIONALLY REDUCED IT ON MY STATEMENT AND OFFERING TO PAY ME PEANUTS.. NEXT STEP - POLICE AND COURT. IS THERE A WAY TO GET THEIR WEBSITE SHUT DOWN SO AS TO STOP THEM FROM STEALING.

Horrible experience. Been trying to follow up on my consigned item for more than two months and my request keeps being pushed back and ignored. I have given them a final warning this week before I escalate this to Trading Standards.

Unfortunately, like so many others, I am still waiting to be paid. I have called and emailed multiple times. The last time I spoke to someone, she said the delay was due to my bank details being incorrect. I was suspicious of this as I had to wait in store to have my details validated when I set up account. After confirming my bank details, they continue to ignore my request for payment. So as I suspected, it was merely delay tactics. I wish they would be open and honest about when I should expect something. Would not recommend. It’s clear they have cash flow issues and haven’t developed a PR approach to dealing with existing customers.
