I can only blame myself as I should have checked reviews before using this company, if I did I would have never used them as clearly my experience is not a one-off and CSD have no desire to improve customer experience based on the plethora of negative reviews they have already received to date.

I contacted them to enquire about 2 pairs of shoes I had on consignment with them - neither had sold (or so I thought) so I was requesting to arrange a collection to pick them up. After a chaser email and phone call I was surprised to be told only one pair of my shoes was available to collect, when I enquired about the other pair I was told they had just sold recently (convenient!) and I can expect a statement and payment for them once they passed the returns period.

Well, over a month has now passed and after asking numerous times for a sales statement or at the very least to be told how much MY shoes were even sold for, CSD are now completely ignoring my emails & calls.

I've been extremely patient before taking this online but to completely ignore a customer who is asking about payment is shocking. If they think this any way to conduct business I'm very surprised they're still operating - I certainly will never use them again and will be informing all of my friends to steer clear. If someone from CSD is reading this - I suggest you contact me as soon as possible with an update about my sale before this is taken further.

CSD does neither communicate nor pay their consignors in accordance with their contract. Despite many emails and phone calls, their accounts team does not respond, does not update the sales spreadsheet, uses vague terms like "TBC" regarding outstanding and long overdue payments to consignors for high value items like Chanel bags. I consigned several high value items to them and am still waiting to be paid for several of them months later. It feels like theft as I neither have the items not the money owed.
I now have to take legal action to recoup my money.
I can't understand how such a company is allowed to keep trading. And apparently I am by far the only one with this distressing experience.

I would give this company zero stars but it doesn't seem to have this option. I have been trying to get paid for one item that sold since October 2025. Despite several emails, the sales team is non responsive and I wouldn't recommend CSD to anyone. am STILL waiting!

This is unfortunately my second review - I am owed over £750 from items that have sold, some over 9 months ago and I still have not been paid. The customer success team is very kind and polite but sadly no progress has been made. It is very frustrating since CSD is otherwise a wonderful business.

Very disappointing service.
I have been chasing the CSD team for over three months regarding outstanding payments. Every time I follow up, I receive the same vague response with no concrete timeline or resolution.
The service used to be great when we first started working together, but over the past year it has deteriorated significantly. I now have to repeatedly chase just to get any kind of update, which is extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
Reliable communication and timely payments are essential, and unfortunately this has not been my experience for a long time now.

I have emailed CSD several times to ask if my account could be credited with my sold items, and consequently have the funds owed to me, but as of today, it is still showing as no sales- but i was advised that all my items bar one have been sold,
They have had my items since October 2024, and I am seriously fed up with them, they are quick enough to take consignments, but absolutely appalling with customer service, unlike other consignment agencies I have used.
If nothing happens very soon, I may have to seek legal advice, I see that I am not the only one here who is unhappy and to be honest- a bit sad!

[Update- CSD have finally been in contact, and have paid me what they owed, it is a shame, however, that it took for me to post on here for things to be resolved.

Do not give anything to be sold with this company. I’ve been trying to get payment from this company for 6 months even though they have confirmed the sale in writing

I consigned a bag with them a year ago. Did not hear anything, but did see it on sale in their Marylebone shop. Mailed them in October to ask if they still had it, they replied it had been sold. Several mails since then saying they were dealing with it but no payment yet. Do not leave your valuable items with them, this is not a reliable company. Update: after several mails they paid me for this bag.

Bought several items from Laure, she is incredible and helpful, nothing is ever too much and she really knows her designers!
The French accent sells the items on its own!

Avoid selling your items with CSD!!! CSD sold my coat and then failed to pay me the money owed. Let that sink in. They took ownership of my item, completed the sale, and kept the proceeds.

This is not a delay. This is not a misunderstanding. This is a complete failure to act with even basic integrity. Selling a customer’s property and not transferring the payment is unacceptable and deeply concerning.

I have spent far too much time chasing money that should have been sent immediately. The silence and lack of urgency show exactly how little CSD cares once they have made their profit.

If this is how CSD operates, potential customers should think very carefully before trusting them with valuable items. Handing over your belongings should not come with the risk of having to publicly expose a company just to get paid.

I will not recommend CSD to anyone and I strongly advise others to avoid them!!!

When I first used their service it was great. You would see your item sold and you were paid within the terms.
However, I have items sold since last Summer and not paid and some more recent items they should have been easy to reconcile and settle, as the shoes were sold within weeks of consigning.

I have asked on several occasions now if they are having cashflow issues and have been told no. So clearly incompetent systems and processes. They get the cash on the day of payment. Once the returns period is over. It shouldn't be that hard to match the sale to the consignee as we all get a PDF receipt of their offer prices, etc.

I cannot give an exact date of the experience as it has been ongoing.

I consigned over 20 pieces with CSD back in August and September. Despite my multiple phone called to the head office, I have yet to receive any updates from the accounts department on my sold pieces.

I see that my items have been sold and still no replies, still no payments, still no sales reports.

Are you running you running a fraudulent business? This is now getting out of control.

Sadly, I had not read the reviews online and all the sellers are saying the same thing. Do NOT consign with this store all it will bring you is stress and following up with a business that is an utter scam.

I believe they are using any funds made from us to support their stores in high rent areas or to get themselves out of debt.

I let the customer service department know that they will be contacted by my legal representatives today and if not paid by Monday I will escalate this matter.

Do not sell with Consigned Sealed Delivered, they will not pay you! They break their own terms of contract every time they pay out or rather the lack of paying out. I have had 3 items still waiting to be paid out from end Aug/begin Sept 2025, it’s now January 2026! Have emailed, called, whatsupped, gone on social media, they have promised payment since November but still nothing.. feeling so frustrated, do not know what else to do other than taking a CCJ against them which will be costly for me.. do not trust this company!

I consigned my classic channel bag , a couple of Louis Vuitton bags , Gucci trainers , fendi high heel mules etc. All sold showing in my CSD account since July 2025 . I have sent numerous emails , calls , they promise to pay , I have still not received a single payment . This has been so stressful that it has started affecting my health . I have now filed an online money court claim which I had to pay £200 for the online fee . Just want to say to CSD company that what goes around comes right back , all the reviews are innocent people being treated poorly almost like we are all being defrauded it’s not fair and unacceptable, hopefully justice eventually will be served and all of us will get our money back with interest .

I gave in 3 items back in August 2025 and after COUNTLESS emails I'm still yet to be paid. I have no confirmation as to how much my items sold for, and other than saying they can't give my items back (because they have supposedly been sold), I have not received payment. I will be escalating this to court as it's either theft of my items as they're being withheld from me against my will, or it's fraud as I haven't been paid as per the agreement.

CSD sold my items and did not pay me for them despite email confirmation of the sales. I visited the store, phoned, emailed, wrote a letter of complaint and all blanked. You have been warned!

Awful experience. They owe me money since July and still haven’t paid.

They stoped answering my emails and phone calls didn’t help either. I’m going to have to go to small claims court now.
