Hello friends

Hello friends, cryptopay is scam company ran by freewallet, and HITBTC. They steal crypto, and make it difficult to get back through fake KYC proccess. Dmiterys dad Alexey Gunyashov, and vasilli meschyerokov in Russia have organized these scams. I have put it through to the FBI, ans a bunch if other organizations. They hide some of their money in the succalles. I was hoping some angry government would have killed dmitrey by now.

Initially a promising project

Initially a promising project, things went south very fast. I took part in the ICO. Soon after the value of the cpay token dropped dramatically. The refusal of listing the token on more exchanges than Balidazes HitBTC didn't make the things better. Since 3 years i didn't check the token value anymore.
Empty promises on the project, shady ownership and so on....there is an endless list.
I guess Basiladze made good use of the money he took from the ICO back then. Now they transfer ownership of the company. Thanks for nothing.

We understand that the development of our token may not go as some token holders may want it to, and this may influence faith in the token itself. However, you shouldn’t lose faith in our project since it’s much more than just CPAY token and it keeps on developing.

Our top priority strategic plans are targeted at the development and growth of our business, not the token itself.

We do understand that our token with its price is not directly connected with these goals and plans, but that’s what we see as the right way to go. We may be wrong, and we may change our approach in the future - but right now we’re sure of what we’re doing and that our plan is in the best interest of our stakeholders (token holders included).

Not only that, but we’re not planning to speculate on the token price, to pour traffic into it, or its trading volumes. We’re fully focused on growing and bettering our business, which we’re sure is in the interest of our token holders since it directly influences referral share payments. When we glance at the revenue dynamics of 2021, we feel that we’re on the right track with this approach.

We’re still very serious about fulfilling our obligations under the agreement that we have with our token holders (Terms & Conditions). So far we were always true to what we have stated there, and we’ll continue to in the future.

Cryptopay has been operating for more than 8 years. Our roadmap has significantly changed since 2017, but we had reasons for that. We’ll continue sharing our revenue reports with you, and we’ll definitely be telling you what’s been made and what’s in the pipeline for the future when we’re ready to share this information.

They asked more documents to increase…

They asked more documents to increase my Limit for transfers and Withdrawals, which I provided to them. Than it came up a video call with their agent which I agreed but they had a "technical issue". I asked to close my account and to have my funds back.
24 Hours passed and nothing is showed at my bank account yet...

I'm so glad Cryptopay was my first…

I'm so glad Cryptopay was my first crypto related app.
I'm new to crypto and don't understand anything about safety of funds. The Cryptopay team conducted a security check, which I didn't like at first, but thanks to that check they revealed that I've almost been scammed by brokers I used to work with. I cut off communication with my broker and was able to keep my money safe. Thank you, Cryptopay!!!

The support team is always so friendly and willing to help me with my silly questions.

Missing money, looks like an exit scam

Same as everyone else, made a bank deposit but they havent credited it to my account and dont respond to chat or email. Looks like an exit scam.

This is a scam company

This is a scam company, do not trust them with ANY of your documents and NEVER deposit any money with them.

They will happily give you 'Tier 3' account status, with very high limits on deposits and withdrawals, but as soon as you want to withdraw they keep making the same demands for identity documents that you have already provided.

Then they want a selfie, then they want a selfie with your passport, then a selfie with your driving licence, then a selfie with your driving licence and the word "Cryptopay" written on a piece of paper, then a selfie with your driving licence and a piece of paper with the word "Cryptopay" AND the date.

Do yourself a huge favour and DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

If you already have, speak to your bank and initiate a chargeback or refund for fraud. Then speak to the Financial Ombudsman to explain the scam and finally write a post here to warn others.

I am also trying to contact Google to see if they can remove the app from the Playstore.

Sadly, we don't see your real name, so we don't know what exactly happened to your account, so we will speak generally.

We never scam people - all the requirements that you've described are the requirements of our regulators.

"They will happily give you 'Tier 3' account status, with very high limits on deposits and withdrawals, but as soon as you want to withdraw they keep making the same demands for identity documents that you have already provided" (c) - probably, you've passed the e-kyc before (without uploading documents) - this type of verification was available some time ago, but with our recent Terms update, now all our customers should be fully verified in a traditional way. We perfectly understand that this wasn't exactly what you've signed up for, which is why we provided our customers with alternative options:
- those who don't want to pass KYC can withdraw their funds just verifying their identity
- those who pass KYC, continue using our service without any issues.

If for some reason you still have funds with us that you want to withdraw or refund, please contact us at support@cryptopay.me - there should be an option for this and we'll be glad to help you.

Cryptopay is not a scam. If you call a scam top security and careful attention to our customers' funds - it's a big mistake. We know that providing documents can be nerve-racking (especially in blockchain sphere), and, believe us, we are trying to make this as smooth as possible, but it's much easier with the cooperation from the customer's side.

Money stuck on Hold

Hello, I am a client of CryptoPay.me since August 2020 .
I have tried to make a crypto purchase by topping up my GBP account with the amount of 10000 GBP. This transaction as confirmed by my bank has arrived at the cryptopay GBP wallet on 27 th January 2022. It has been on hold since that day with the reason that I needed to provide more documents. I have fully cooperated with them. I have provided all the requested documents and after I have sent them several emails , they have failed to clear the transaction from the Hold status. I am still waiting for at least an update from the company. I am looking forward to an update from cryptopay.me otherwise I might need to get a chargeback inolving my bank.

Cant access my funds.

Used them for years. However last month my account was locked for further checks. Support didn't really reply. Eventually they did, but its been a month and i have sent everything they needed. I think somethings changed internally at the company. I have tried emailing support email and internal chat. There is no phone number. Im escalating it via relevant procedures but not sure what else to do. Will update if resolved. I still have faith.

UPDATE: Updated my score because I did in fact get my fund back. Only giving 3 stars due to the wait and the fact I had to send the documents multiple times. Ordeal was stressful and Im not sure I will be using them again. However its only fair that I make it clear I got access to my money.

I can't get MY MONEY

I have been trying to verify documents for 2 weeks and as you can only do it on the app have tried at least 50 times with no luck. Why do the UK government allow this sort of company to exist.

It appears that cryptopay are exit scamming and stealing customer funds

I have been a cryptopay customer for a while, but recently they locked my wallet, and ran through several verification processes which took several weeks. When I finally logged in last night I discovered that ALL of my funds have been withdrawn out internally without any explanation by Cryptopay (stolen). Upon further investigation I have discovered that one of the companies bosses Darren Minness recently resigned on 29/12/2021 and is maybe stealing customers funds. Now one director, Dmitrii Guniashov remains against companies house. I have raised a police investigation and raised a case with Ofcom to address this criminal company once and for all. We need to take ENSURE that we all get our stolen funds back.

EDIT: We have contacted the support team asking for our funds to be recovered and the support team are looking into it. Will provide a full update here and creating a Youtube video with the outcome

Second of all, it's the fact that we never steal our clients’ funds - their accounts’ security is our top 1 priority. If you cooperated with any broker or trading platform and provided any third-parties with access to your account - it’s a red flag and the only possible reason your funds could have disappeared from your wallet.

And in regards to the changes in our core team - it’s not too rare for a director to leave the company, wouldn’t you agree? Ones leave, others come - this is how it works when the business is alive and growing. A quick glance at several other Companies House profiles would find proof that it happens pretty often. No employee who has ever left the company has access to internal data - again, we do take the privacy of our clients and treat our security rules seriously. These accusations are nothing but unsubstantiated.

I’ve been using Cryptopay for two years now and I find their services absolutely spot on. I would recommend it to anyone. I especially like the Visa card which allows me to spend my crypto anywhere around the world.
