Very disappointed with my experience at Crunch. I arrived for a class within the 2-minute grace period that the program clearly states is allowed, but I was still denied entry. I am currently pregnant and doing my best to stay active for my health and my baby’s health, so being turned away despite following the rules was very upsetting. As a paying member, I expect fairness and consistency in how policies are applied. This experience left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a member.

Absolute worst customer service

Absolute worst customer service. Front desk staff are incompetent and when an issue comes up, management does little to resolve. While I understand mistakes happen, when the same mistake happens by two different staff, management should be doing something to ensure their staff are properly trained. Noah, the assistant manager, was no help.

I was trying to deal with an out of state club that never answers the phone and the mailbox is full. Called a local club , Brookfield Wi, and spoke with Manager Titan. Extremely willing to help , even though club ownership would be different. Helped obtain email addresses, phone numbers etc. Followed up with me as well. He's a “ Class Act”!!!

TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE

TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. There are so many options out there for gym memberships!

I was a member here, at the Snellville, GA location but needed to cancel because my work schedule changed and the gym was often closed when I needed to work out. You cannot cancel on the app. You have to cancel in person.

I came in to cancel, and the employee treated me like literal garbage. I was there more than an hour before closing, but he messed around with stuff until it was less than an hour, then told me that they don’t cancel memberships in the last hour of business. WOW. I told him that wasn’t very fair since I was there in plenty of time. He was like “too bad”… I was totally fine to pay the last month, but also totally fine with stopping payment with my bank. He yelled at me in front of the other gym members as I was walking out “You’re going to have COLLECTIONS ALL OVER YOUR CREDIT”

Today I brought my husband in with me to cancel my membership because I was scared to be yelled at and humiliated again. The gentleman behind the counter helped me cancel my membership, and I paid my last month on the spot. I told of him my experience and he said I should talk to the manager who was just finishing up his break.

My husband and I sat and waited. The assistant manager came in, and chatted with the other employee for a bit. Then he called us over. I told him what had happened. He wasn’t surprised… didn’t respond with sympathy or apology. Didn’t thank me for waiting and telling him what was going on… he asked me if I had any witnesses. Of course, I did not walk around taking signed statements from people on the treadmills when it happened. He told me he couldn’t be sorry about anything if he wasn’t sure it had happened. What the heck?

Crunch, what kind of training are you providing your employees and managers? Most people want to be listened to, and some kind of care in return. This was an unbelievably awful experience.

This review pertains to the…cancelation

This review pertains to the cancellation of a membership at the Crunch gym in Orange Park, Florida. The experience was utterly abhorrent. I attempted to cancel my membership online, but apparently, this process is too advanced for them. You are required to visit the gym in person. Who does that in 2025? They then attempted to pressure me to stay. (They did not even provide a reasonable explanation.) They charged me because I was shy of the 10-day notice (by only three days?). I was astounded to discover that even though they require you to PAY for the final month, my membership was terminated that day.

Beware of this gym. Is this not a form of theft of services on their part?

Misleading information

I was paying around $67 per year and made sure to cancel well in advance of my renewal. Despite this, I was hit with a final charge that includes both the annual fee and a monthly fee — even though my contract clearly stated the annual fee wouldn't be charged until September.

To make matters worse, no one at the gym mentioned anything about cancellation fees when I cancelled in person. Just a generic "You're all set!" Then I get an email telling me I'll still be charged almost $90? Seriously?

This is not how you treat customers who cancel responsibly and follow the rules. It's shady, it's frustrating, and it honestly feels like a cash grab.

Clearly, I’m not the only one — go read the reviews. This seems to be a pattern at Crunch West Hamilton (Main St).

The biggest issue was that I signed up…

The biggest issue was that I signed up for ONE month of personal training and was clear about just wanting ONE month. I was not able to read the pages of tiny print when I signed. At the end of the month, they said I had to give 60 days notice to cancel. They kept charging me $130 a week and then started charging random amounts of $91.07 and $95.47. Every time I dispute a charge, they recharge my card. I cancelled my membership online, but they never actually cancelled it. I'm still fighting the charges. Also, I was disappointed in the classes and their reservation system. I couldn't even get into most of the classes I wanted to and was paying for peak membership to access the extra classes I never even got to try. I just want out and want them to stop charging me. :(

Poor experience with Crunch fitness billing team

My experience with Crunch Fitness Greenwood's customer service was extremely negative. The staff was unhelpful and gave me different information every time I spoke with them. I was accidentally enrolled in a base package membership and, despite never using the gym, was held to a contract. Even after explaining that I'd moved to another state, they refused to listen to my situation and continued to send me payment notices. I found their approach to be completely lacking in empathy and cannot recommend them to others.

Crunch offered me a promotion with 1 $…

Crunch offered me a promotion with 1 $ enrollment and one month free. Then they sent me a form to fill out and put my credit card to get their membership subscription after the months. While filling it online it shows an annual fees of 49.99$ + 29.99 $ peak results fees I called to ask about this 49.99 why if enrollment is just 1$ ? They said this indifferent. They offered me to come the next morning to try the facility which I did. I said ok I will subscribe I went home and filled the form again now it is 59.99$ annual fees and not 49.99 like yesterday. I called them they said oh yes today is a new month and different fees. I filled it anyway. It said due today 1 c. Few minutes later I received an agreement that I didn’t sign it shows prorated annual fees 10.71 $ and next month another annual fees of 64$ we are now in August 2025 and next month is sept 2025 why more annual fees the year didn’t end yet.
I called them they said that is it! I called my bank to stop recurring payment the bank told me they collected today not 10$ but 14$. Wow every 5 minutes more money. I didn’t start yet going to the Gym and i am already disgusted

This place is horrible. The members sit on the equipment while on there phones. Take a long time to finish. I talked to the staff and they don’t do anything. They charged me an annual fee when I was there for only 2 months. It’s a horrible gym and I have to pay for another month even when cancelling you membership. Sucks

Contract Cancellation Not Honored – Request for Immediate Resolution

On June 4, 2025, I signed a contract with Crunch Fitness for a package of personal training sessions. As outlined in the contract, I was entitled to cancel the agreement within three days—by June 7, 2025—without incurring any penalties.
On June 6, 2025, I physically went to the gym to request the cancellation. I communicated my intent clearly to staff at the front desk and was informed that the cancellation would be processed. I also followed up by sending messages to the personal trainer assigned to me, informing them that I had formally requested the cancellation. At the gym, I signed a document they presented to confirm the cancellation request, and I was assured that the process was completed.
Despite this, no cancellation was processed, and I later discovered three unauthorized charges to my bank account:
$166 on June 16, 2025
$166 on June 30, 2025
$166 on July 14, 2025
When I returned to the gym on July 17, 2025, I spoke directly with the personal trainer, who acknowledged the error and told me it was a mistake. I was assured that I would receive a full refund for the incorrect charges. To that end, I was provided with a written contract stating that Crunch Fitness would issue the refund and return the funds to my account.
However, as of July 29, 2025, when I followed up by phone, I was informed by a staff member that the refund had been denied and that no reimbursement would be provided. This contradicts both the verbal assurances and the written confirmation I previously received from Crunch Fitness.
At this point, I have made every good-faith effort to resolve this directly with the gym, but I have been misled and charged a total of $498 for services I formally canceled within the legal window.

If I could give ZERO stars I would

If I could give ZERO stars I would! My son was a member of Crunch from day one of their opening in Melbourne (192). He canceled his membership in person on June 23, 2025. Upon cancellation, he was told there would be a cancellation fee along with the monthly dues (last month's dues). They asked how he wanted to pay for that and he asked if he could use a credit card. They said he could. He told them that his bank account info is what they had on file which would get debited each month for the dues. He made sure to ask that these "additional fees" not come out of his bank account on file since he was paying both separate fees with a credit card. They assured him they wouldn't come out of his bank account on file. Well guess what, THEY DID! He has been back to Crunch no less than FOUR TIMES trying to get the money back in his account since he got charged twice, once via credit card and once via ACH. It is nearly $85 that Crunch owes him. That may not seem like a lot of money but he's a full time student and now it's the principle of the matter. Each time he's gone in there, he's gotten a different story..."it's being processed", "it'll take 5-10 business days to go back in your account", "we need to send a request for a refund", "blah, blah, blah". I got so fed up with their run-around that I went with him last Thursday, July 17th. Upon entering, I asked to speak to a manager and with that Marco (who I was speaking to) said, "what can I do for you?". I went in with a printout of my son's bank statement showing the withdrawal on June 23rd and no credits back to the account. Marco, this so-called, self-proclaimed "manager" was rude and condescending towards me and my son, telling me that "the fees owed are in the contract he signed when he signed up". I told him that's NOT what we're disputing. What we're there for is a refund of the dues that were paid TWICE, once on his credit card (the method he specifically asked to use) and once by ACH. Marco said "we can't give refunds here and will have to put in a request". Seriously???? You sure as hell can take the money but you can't credit it back?!?!? I specifically asked Marco what the heck was done then the last 3-4 times my son went in there to get his money refunded. All Marco kept saying was "it has to be requested". Then some kid Jeramiah chimed in stating that my son signed a contract. Again, I said directly to this other rude employee (both of which I've got by 20+ years) THAT'S NOT THE ISSUE! We left out of there with my last words to both of them, "If, come next Thursday, the money is not back in his account, you'll be seeing a lot more of me...get used to this face!" To date, the money is STILL NOT REFUNDED...A MONTH LATER!!!! From these interactions alone, I would suggest giving your money to a gym that is trustworthy and more deserving of your business. Clearly, Crunch is NOT that gym.

Skip Fargo, ND location

I called to ask about trial 7 day membership,
Lady was nice, I sign up, go into the store show email I got from them, in my name, and bang got it. Sign the thing, oh, hold up another lady shows up, askes for my ID, and in ten seconds comes up with I've had several trials and have to pay or sign a contract. Day pass is like 5 bucks but I've only been in Fargo for 3 weeks and their computer didn't see any issue with my trial, just the little gay girl at the desk. Hmm either they are hurting for 5 bucks or men aren't allowed. Either way, forget that. I can go for a walk and not be caught up in some b.s. recruiting scam.
