The down side was that I called Cruise and asked for some information on particulars of a Laptop and never got a reply back to either my email or on the new stock discussed over the phone.

Never the less I read other reviews and being a techy, i know my stuff. I changed my laptop preference and bit the bullet. Instead of opting for a high spec Dell for £700 I went all out on a Lenovo T14 i7 all singing all dancing with 48GB ram £1100.

The laptop arrived promptly, looks pretty much pristine. The battery has nearly 96% charge capacity time which will be tested well when surveying for 8 continuous hours.
The laptop warranty is valid I have contacted Lenovo and also obtained the Master Recovery and created a USB as a backup directly from them.

All in all so far I am happy with my purchase and although I've not used the laptop intensely yet, this will happen very soon with the peace of mind that it has the Cruise RTB 1yr warranty as well as the Lenovo warranty.

It took 2 weeks just to transfer all my data and install my software licenses over from my older machine. The main test will be with my Ekahau Pro WLAN site survey software next week on a client site.

Currently in the process of making a shopping list of more machines to buy from Cruise as the products seem to be of good standard. Two of my clients in Somerset have also recently ordered new machines from cruise on my recommendation they seem to be over the moon.

I got a good bargain here. My "looks like new" laptop arrived well packed on time and was all set up ready to go so that even a technical bone-head like me could use it immediately.

Impressive level of service. Very good communication about processing and dispatch of laptop order. The laptop itself was superb value, for a high specification. Old enough to have an original WIndows 7 label on it, this laptop is high spec, and in cosmetically superb condition. Only a slight shine at one end of the space bar, and a slight fading at the edges of the still-on Windows 7 label, would show that this unit isn't brand new. It has been renewed with Windows 10 and 16GB of RAM and absolutely flies, compared to my old Windows 10 4GB laptop. The packaging in which it arrived was excellent. I've been able to transfer all my files easily, and to transfer the full configuration of my Mozilla Thunderbird email client. I'm really delighted with the value for money, and quality of service.

I spoke to them on the phone before I made the purchase and they answered (on a weekend!) and were helpful and polite. The computer came and it looks and works as described.

starting up a new business with little to no money is depressingly slow, needing a new laptop and finding a £1500 HP ProBook for £450 that looks unused with windows 10 installed and over 16 month warranty on CruiseTech,
